The guys from Waupaca gave the camera a push while set up in Menomonie. Their folded figure 8 layout is really beautifully detailed and prototypical of central Wisconsin.
Saw this layout in La Crosse this past weekend and was blown away. Really liked the derailment portrayed at 0:33 in this video, and the historical info on it.
Excellent modular sectional layout. It does remind me of when my wife and I traveled with our Soo Line sectional layout. Are any of the structures on this layout from the John Proebsting estate? He had a marvelous layout up near Woodstock many years ago with the Waupaca depot scratch built along the line along with some other structures. John's buildings were absolutely magnificent, his roundhouse and surrounding area was to scale of what existed back in the late steam era.
+Bill Fagan The camera is a Replay Prime X on a flat car with the Heimlock mount. It records 1080, but streams live via wifi and fits in the NRMA specs. We've never hit a spot the replay rig hasn't fit through.

Nope, this is portable. It breaks into sections and rolls into their trailer.
