Excellent explanation of this rewarding and challenging career. I’m so happy and proud of my son to join this excellent organization
New subscriber from Vancouver, Canada.
Constable Shaad Azeez is amazing. Thank you for this podcast and his service. I can see a Sgt. one day. RCMP is awesome.
Thanks for making this video. I really enjoyed and already got excited to become RCMP officer, waiting for interview. Inspiring definitely!
Great video … I just passed the entrance exam … I’m so excited … can’t wait 🙏🏿
@@pierreaugustin974 good luck.
There was no exam not that long ago....
@ what do you mean ?
@@pierreaugustin974 A few years ago the entrance exam was waived for anyone with a diploma or degree. There was also no behavioural or competency based interview whatsoever. These steps were added to measure "woke" competencies. The RCMP vacancies are increasing and the fitness testing and Recruitment Evaluation Centre never happened. Don't believe the lies these podcasters and recruiters tell. They keep changing the woke DEI requirements every few months and the Trudeau clown is about to get fired. Everything will change again in another year yet nothing really changes with the failing RCMP. -40 C in Regina and then most go to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta to general duties in rural areas. Once you get sent there it's impossible to get out due to shortages. Specialized Federal Units are a paper fantasy. RCMP is not the FBI. Intelligence work is done by CSIS or doesn't exist in Canada. When the guy was talking about "covert ops" and "units not listed anywhere" it made me LOL so hard. Clueless podcaster and a low level provincial constable proactive recruiter.
This is such an amazing resource, I'll be applying next year. Thank you so much for this interview!
Thanks for the video! As a current applicant, it was very insightful! Cheers 👍🏼
You better be gay or brown then 🤷🏼♀️...they want morally flexible yes-men that have no problem turning on their citizens. They won't even hire strong & intelligent ex-military for those reasons!!
thank you bringing this podcast. although i would like to see ERT side of RCMP if you can bring up that would be really cool.
I agree
Amazing chat! Congratulations
Lets go RCMP
Always a great chat and so thorough!
I followed Constable Azeez’s advice and was transparent and honest in my application and it didn’t do me any favours. They declined me for all the wrong reasons. Any suggestions?
Here's the problem with the rcmp. I am a big believer in the rule of law and keeping canadians safe. So you might get lucky and end up investigating drug smugglers or sex traffickers, but one day you'll be asked to knock on the door of some person who used mean tweets or was protesting the government for legitimate reasons. And you'll have to make that decision to take an order to victimize a person you were swore to protect, or turn in your career.
I love this, I made this my goal for 2025, I missed my shot in 2024 but 2025, it's my year.
@@benitnzoyikorera excellent attitude. Go get it.
Manitoba 2nd highest crime rate, I applied 2007 and recruitment said i will be on Yukon, i passed Rcmp and CBSA. But happy workin as inland border services now
Not Yukon but 80% chance of Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta. Somewhere rural and cold for sure.
Really Helpful Sir. Thanks a lot. Preparing to apply for rcmp but still waiting to apply for citizen or not meeting pr time limit requirements.
Good luck and keep pushing.
I have just started my application...now onto the 2nd stage wish me good luck 🤞
Did you get your oacp ??
I just pass my entrance assessment now on to the nex
@@maxblazer593Please what do you study to pass your exams?
@@Mgbdike it's basic knowledge don't stress you'll do great.
All the best to ya !!! 👍 you'll make it 🫡
I want to subbmit my application but don't know if im physically fit for it yet even though I work out 6 times a week for it
@@RohanDaumoo2210 check out www.thearenatoronto.com and find out your baseline.
There is no fitness test to apply. They are barely scraping the bottom of the barrel.
You will have plenty time to start getting in shape. Once you've applied and heard back from them, you will have to wait around 1 year. Take this time to improve your fitness.
@@sketchyboyofficial I had applied in last Dec but I failed my entrance exam last week, i can re apply this April
@@RohanDaumoo2210 that's unfortunate. let's hope you ace it next time!
Great interview
Can you please do one podcast with Alberta police departments like Edmonton or Calgary.
@@harsimransingh2402 will def try. 😀
Deadmonton and Calgary are the two most corrupt organizations in the country and also with "hard skills" in demand. Stay away from Deadberta and Deadmonton.
My Dad was a Mountie. He told me they lie through their teeth. I wanted to be a Mountie as my Dad was my hero. He told me he'd kick my ass up around my ears if I did that. I joined the military instead. There are definitely great officers, but the system is corrupt and they make good officers go bad.
Nothing ever changes with the RCMP. That's a guarantee. Things only got worse since Trudeau.
Ontario Canada..1974....Im 50!
This video is pure marketing but at least the guy is honest about being sent to Manitoba and moved around on a whim. Looks like a diversity hire straight from university. 7+ years and still a Constable???? Having said that in 2017-2018 the process was very easy, no interview, no test or fitness testing, no entrance exam, easy medical. There is no job offer until after Depot because RCMP is a meat grinder and attrition is very high, especially at depot like 30-40%. Good luck paying a 100k student loan, 50k car loan, and 2500 rent with 525 a week from Depot. LOL training is free. An employer is REQUIRED to provide training to standard. Any other government job pays a full time salary with benefits during training. DEPOT is for PROVINCIAL POLICING NOT FEDERAL. This guy is talking about cover ops LOLOL. Yes office buildings downtown Toronto look like office buildings. Almost no chance you get into a federal unit because the deployment is to contract policing from Depot.
would you ever come to canada 🇨🇦
A friend of mines son is an rcmp and he’s a little dork. I was blown away when I found out he got in. The standards must be pathetic.
Think of the people he has helped
I mean he was able to view the bigger picture and do something challenging yet very rewarding. Sorry u haven’t found that value in ur life man
There are no standards. They take anyone and everyone a few years in Canada and still have 20-30% vacancies. Depot is a meat grinder.
Up North pays 1/4 million a year rural .👍💪
Great.. I’m sure all that money helps when you don’t have a family / life / anything to spend it on
fresh RCMP

I guess the fitness standards are minimal now.. and the DEI hahahaahhahahaah absolutely embarrassing to say this guy is a police officer is an absolute embarrassment.. look at the state of this guys uniform.. un ironed uniform. Beard unkept.. boots FML does this guy work in rural Nunavat
Hard Pass
The RCMP is now a sad shadow of what it used to be that people don't trust anymore.
Well said, there are more rotten apples in the rcmp then ever before, the largest corrupt gang , never trust them and always always record them for your safety and the loved ones around you.
They are corrupt.
How so?
@@sp0rt373 because they trampeled with horses on people in Ottawa when there was no actual threat, only a peaceful demonstration. Now you see HAMAS activist downtown toronto, and the RCMP is protecting them. So born and raised canadian have no rights but arabs from across the globe do ?
@@sp0rt373 History speaks for itself, ask rural native communities what was done to centralize them and control them, specifically what happened to their Dogs and possessions. Now thousands of native women go missing, even straight out of cars and we wonder “ Who could get them to leave their car? “ and the story always just goes away lol. Just because you change the laws does not mean you change people, and the RCMP has always considered themselves the law in Canada.
@@CanadianFitted are you suggesting the rcmp are kidnapping indigenous women? lol! And what about dogs??? The claims you make are not based on any facts. The reality is you’re not even able to correctly identify the people you speak of, yet claim to be an ally. Step back. We don’t need your misguided sympathy.
@@CanadianFittedso you mean to tell me everyone who put on this uniform is corrupt ?
we need police reform not more cops!!!!!!
chace to be police to every people not only citizens and PR
