DO NOT eat buttercups, they are toxic. Unless they are brought to a very high temperature.
It was greatly important for me to share my story with vegetarianism with you. I was so scared to publish this, and if I'm being honest, I still am as I write. I'm aware of the huge controversy on the topic, I know what's at stake for our friends, the animals. But please, open your heart and consider hearing my choice.
For now, that's what my body needs. It was beyond harsh to accept reintroducing fish into my life. And I still carry some amount of doubts and confusion in my mind. But deep inside, I know this was the best decision I could reach. For both my mental and physical health.
I could have chosen to share more details about the how, the what and the why. But I needed this video to breath. To stay pure and open, instead of narrow minded.
I have no idea for how long I'll be eating fish. For now, my brain and body are still showing great improvements each day. I will just keep on asking and listening to my core, to my heart, whether I should eat this form of life or not. Readjustments may or may not come. Only MY soul knows what is right to do, for me, and for the time being.
I sincerely hope you can benefit, somehow, from watching this video. Whether you are a vegetarian or not at all, all I want is to inspire you to live a little closer to your heart.
Thank you all so much for your support, this channel is growing faster than I could have ever imagined. I still don't realise how much has happened here in just a week. I'm reading every single comment and am doing my very best to answer each one of your beautiful souls.
Sending you all my sincere love and light,

I had joint pain, high blood pressure, exhaustion and everything else and my health experts gave me drugs that did no good. One day I ate 5 avocados because they were going to go bad. The next day I woke up and all my join pain was gone. So, I researched and found that avocados have 75% RDA of potassium. So, I started taking potassium and all my health issues went away.

Yes we need alot more potassium than the so called experts recommend. If you hear your heartbeat in your pillow at night that is a sign that you are potassium deficient. Iodine and Lutein deficiency are very bad too .
Especially Lutein and eye health and Iodine and a females mood swings and headaches can be caused by Iodine deficiency.
I started taking Lutein with Zeaxanthin and my eyes feel 100 % better and my general inflammation level is down like 90 % .
Of course if your not living right and eating alot of junk food then you'll need to change your wicked ways 😜

Most of our health problems have been created by our governments in bed with corporations and farmers associations who are more interested in selling us stuff like margarine, corn products, soybean products and breakfast cereal than in actually encouraging us to eat all the stuff we really need especially for the proper development of our brains .

To be healthy you need the whole spectrum of food, it's your body but not your choice. You can have several dishes to chose from which isn't bad, from but you can't stem from the laws of nature. The damage to the human body can sometimes be imperceptible until a long time has passed. If you suffer any damage and it's reversible then you are lucky, if not you will have to deal with whatever damage you've done to yourself. Other people have become morning cereal fanatics, cereal for the little children, cereal for the whole school life, sometime cereals even in college and what's worse is that many adults eat cereals. Eliminating all the other spectrum of nutrition and focusing fanatically on one food as being "main" could be due to the fact that we have processed food and aggressive marketing , due to population density. Processed food isn't bad, what's bad is that we have a generation of people that never knew what normal nutrition looks like, due to getting born and growing up in a society that has things like food processing and alimentary chemistry. The people should not stem from the laws of nature, no meat or milk is insanity, the same is with eliminating other nutrients from the nutrition just because you have formed the "cereal for breakfast obsession".

You are not a vegan, but on a vegan diet. Cause vaganism is an idea of saving animals. It’s not about your comfort. That’s why vegans never say like that. Cause they feel this animals pain all the time.
I’m not a vegan now if to talk about my diet, cosmetics. My life didn’t allow me to stay. But I’m a vegan if to talk about such simple things as no leather, no fur. But I SAY that we can’t eat them and can’t eat milk products cause it’s EXTREMELY CRUEL.
And it’s not healthy for an adult to eat milk products. Milk is for babies. Look at nature.

I was vegan for seven years... until I felt like I was dying. 😔 I realized through experience that meat (especially beef) and raw dairy are the most nutrient-dense and healing food, because of them I feel alive and well again. Because of this I found so much respect for the animals and the life-death cycle that is normal within this earth (everything goes through this cycle, even human beings). Every time I eat, I am filled so much gratitude. We have forgotten this, eating has become soulless.

People talk about this a lot. I went vegan, because my previous opinion of eating meat had changed. I've been vegetarian/vegan for over 6 years as an athlete and I feel great. But your comment, your thought, only applies to people who revert back usually. I never understand why so many people (not you, your comment was not mean) hate on things that are supposed to make the world better. A lot of people just don't do it right. They think "oh I'm a vegetarian so i eat lettuce and bread!" which is not really correct.

I was vegetarian most of my adult life by choice. But I was constantly tired, unfocused and irritable. I returned to eating fish and white meats and my health has rebounded. But I try to stay only on fish as much as possible, and indeed, only when I feel the need for it. I’m still researching ways to stay vegetarian without risking my health. I believe animals are sentient beings and wish to treat them as such.

Just know that plant farming kills at least as many animals. Countless vegetarians and vegans may be suffering for nothing. The answer is a return to small-scale, private farming and homesteading, and even then, killing others to stay alive yourself sometimes has to happen. I remember especially reading an article from a vegan (or ex-vegan) who was so proudly growing her own lettuce in her garden. But snails kept attacking her lettuce. No matter what she did, she could not keep the snails at bay except by - with tears - using lethal means.
And that is just one woman's lettuce garden, nothing like the countless baby deer and rabbits sliced to pieces by farming equipment every day. I'm just saying there is no perfect, or innocent way of living. Our lives inevitably bring death to others, as they did to others.

I am glad you finally woke up and started to truly nourish your body. I too was vegetarian for quite some time- 10 solid years. I too became vegetarian as an emotional response to the abuse of nonhuman animals. I too wrecked my health. I know you don't want to upset by speaking too deeply about this topic. However, truth is truth. Meat, eggs, milk all have bioavailable nutrients. It means we almost instantly absorb and utilize the nutrients unlike what happens when we eat plants only. Not everyone has certain enzymes to convert plant form of nutrients. I know of not even one person that possesses every enzyme necessary to convert plant form nutrients into the bioavailable form. I don't care if the truth upsets people. People should care more about truth and their wellbeing than they do staying on a destructive course. Grass fed and finished organic beef, chicken that is raised on pastures eating organic food, eggs from pasture raised organic fed hens, moderate amount of berries for the real form of vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is not vitamin C.
If you wish to have children it is crucial that you consume grass fed and finished organic beef. Veganism and Vegetarianism absolutely wrecks male and female reproductive organs. In fact, if you are still of child bearing age you should be consuming red meat (beef) because of the monthly loss of blood.

I was a lacto vegetarian (only milk products and no eggs allowed), every winter that came was worse than the other, until this winter my nerves started tingling all over my body, it was scary since my arms would shake and I'd drop things like glasses and people started noticing and it was truly scary, I felt like I was 90 years old not 26 , I was so tired and depressed I wanted to literally die and could not wait for summer because at least then I was normal again(still had the nerve and muscle tingling but with more energy), so I incorporated eggs in my diet and they help tremendously, I eat them almost everyday, maybe it's not healthy to eat them everyday but I started gaining weight(I'm very skinny) and gained energy too, so I think my body needs that, even some bad cholesterol hahah so I'm happy that you found out what helps you and I support you completely, I tried eating fish but my body could not handle it so eggs it is, and maybe shrimp or mussels for me but not often. Off and on over the past 20 years I have eaten fish and sometimes eggs...and then I would stop eating them all together...andnow I eat only fish besides vegetables, fruit and grains. The times I didn't eat fish I didn't feel good. I so understand the difficulty you had in choosing your own health over being vegan. I too feel like I had to betray a part of my soul in order to survive. I too can honestly say I love animals more than humans. Most people get upset when I say that so I don't say it often. It is just how my soul responds to the universe. I try to respect the gift of each fish and thank the universe for this gift the way the Native Americans do. When they would capture a buffalo they would always thank the animal for the gift of its life before they would eat it. I truly feel like a soul sister to you and I'm so grateful for your honesty. I was vegan for a decade and a half and tried chicken but it just didn't work for me so I added fish instead and that was what my body was missing nutrient-wise. Just adding one or two servings a fish a week while still eating vegetarian for 90% of my caloric intake improved my quality of life drastically. For some reason chicken and red meat just made me feel worse for some reason and my energy levels actually went down. Fish actually improved my energy levels and didn't make me feel nauseous and cause me to develop "the runs".
Everyone is different, my wife swears by chicken and I swear by fish and she dislikes fish and I dislike chicken so the optimal diet is definately not universal.

Thank you for sharing your experiences about an important subject. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 14 years ago (small and very early stage) and immediately did what I could do to to reduce its progress -- that is, I changed my diet and became a strict vegan. I am convinced that in my case the diet made a large difference as the cancer has not progressed. Still after about 10 years, I too felt depleted and introduced some wild caught fish in my diet. I don't know for sure but I think I was able to find a balance. My preferred diet continues to be greens, rice, pasta, tomatoes, beans, nuts, fruit. If I don't get my greens, my body feels the lack. Life is balance; diet is balance. Again thank you for sharing this video and your other videos. You have important things to say.

I was not having the right amounts of these and my body told me that. Like you, once I began to correct the unbalance in me, I felt better, not just good but great. Your journey is uniquely yours and is to be embraced. I was vegan for seven years and my body began to deteriorate. Lethargy, brain fog, joint pain, and sinusitis were the primary symptoms. One day I asked my son to go to the market to pick up some cooked fish. I understand the guilt you feel when eating animal flesh...it goes against everything you believe. As for me, I was also a vegan educator, which added another layer of guilt. I ate the fish and my body responded positively and almost immediately. Since I had already gained a vegan following, I decided to "come out" and share my story. It was very freeing and every day my body thanks me for listening to it and honoring it. Today, I still teach the benefits of plant foods, but I also educate my students on the origins of food, be it animal or plant, and being grateful for all the animals whose lives save mine.

Without fermented foods and healing plants it's very difficult to have a vegetarian/vegan and balanced diet. It's a bit sad how some awesome foods just completely vanished from some western diets. Stinging Nettle, Dandelion, Plantago, Achillea, and on and on and on, became for a large part of the population unknown and strange herbs when they actuallya are needed in every diet to counterbalance the effects of more energy-packed food.
At least it's good to discover and explore these in light of modern research methods.

Just to add a forgotten reality. As we have become a mostly Urban culture, most have forgotten that on the traditional small farm one would raise a steer from birth and love and care for it. At some point the cycle of life progressed and it was time for the steer, the family loved, to then become food for the table. It was a completely natural process. If one does hard physical work, which is kinda what we're designed for I can't imagine not having meat at the table. I tried a lacto vegetarian diet in the Seventies during my college years and found it ultimately caused me to feel way to passive and weak. That being said, I understand that if one was raised in warm, tropical culture it would make sense to eat a more plant based diet and perhaps no meat or fish etc. To each his own state of consciousness.

I have tried vegetarianism many times, these last two times supplementing with complex B’s. However, everytime my body just stalls. 2 days ago when I was cutting tomato for my salad, my body just wasn’t following my brain orders and my vision became double and blurry. I have also been feeling headaches and like I’ve been flying, so like my ears need to pop due to the pressure. I can feel that the lack of “it”, affects my nerve system. The body just can’t function and that makes me so sad. The day after that episode I hate chicken and I started feeling better. 14 years is inspiring and amazing how you could do it for so long. Maybe some bodies really need it to survive. My father has Parkinsons and lack of B12 might be a factor and if the disease being hereditary (small percentage but still) I don’t want to play with that. I have so much love and respect for animals and I would love to show that respect by not consume them, but my body cannot take it. And if you feel better eating fish that just means you’re doing the right thing. x D

Why is it liberating? Sound like narc looking for extra attention. Speak for yourself when you say it's liberating. I know for a fact we was suppose to eat meat, and anyone really spiritually would know. The water with the fish would get totally out of hand and the balance would be way off. All things must die in some way and animals are no different. Humans hurt humans all while claiming vegan every day. Not eating meating doesn't make you a much better in any way and people love to tell everyone any chance they get that they vegan as if they are special in some way. I knew a vegan girl who was a narc and sneaky and a thief. Thank you for your honesty. I too have struggled with my chosen diet. I became a vegetarian like yourself at a very young age because like you I could not fathom the idea of an animal suffering for my survival. That was 52 years ago! And for the last six years I could not bear to be a part of the dairy industry and its atrocities to the dear cows and chickens. So I gave up all dairy products and eggs and became vegan. I noticed in the last few years that I just did not feel like I have the energy that I felt I should have, which is tricky to understand as you become an elder as everything slows down and changes anyway! Just wasn't sure if it was my aging or my diet.🤔 So i decided just in these last six months to start eating fish again. As a vegetarian who does eat eggs, cheese, and yogurt, I have learned that pernicious anemia (vitamin B-12 deficiency) is a risk. Brain fog, low energy, wobbly legs. That was me. It's in our biology to be omnivores, even though we may not like it. But it's my belief that we can still help the animals. I know we can find a way to be more sustainable and more humane to animals and find a middle ground where we can give our bodies what they need too and I think you have proven that.
I like how you said to follow our own truth. I believe humans can find a way to coexist with the Earth, the animals, and ourselves. We just have to keep trying and learning.

If you allow me to share some wisdom, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?" Please don't follow your heart. What happens if you do, "So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels." But rather, "Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” So rather seek love, hope, and peace. But the greatest is love, "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. In love, Bill

You remind me so.much of my younger self. I was a vegetarian all through my 20s until my digestion stopped working. I went to an excellent naturopath in the 1980s. He told me "Some people cannot be vegetarians." I have to eat animal.protien to produce degestive enzymes. I think its because diabetes is in my family. The doctor told me to put raw organic calf's liver in a blender with carrot juice to hide the taste. I was so ill, I did it and had an instant cure! Enzymes!
I grew up around farms but I had forgotten how many small animals and birds die in crop farming. We can't escape death. In fact, the animal slaughter has become more humane, but nobody cares about the small creatures poisoned or chopped up in combines to harvest crops. Animals eat each other. Human brains grew bigger and smarter when we began cooking meat. Sad state of nature as death and life are tied tigether in an endless cycle. I have French heritage and grew up eating lots of meat. Maybe its genetic as well.

Your thoughts are very interesting. We all have a different genome, a different body with different needs. But what you say is right, animals survive because they eat other forms of life. Let it be plants (having feelings too) or animals. I believe Breatharians are advanced people, it will take a lot more global awakening for us to live like them.

Animal agriculture has not gotten more humane….? And it’s physically impossible to not have factory farming if everyone eats meat. As of now we only farm so many vegetables bc we feed 90% of them to animals who are slaughtered to feed the first world while others are starving? Circle of life tho includes human suffering too I guess in your book? I guess you are ok with factory farming if you think everyone should eat meat. I agree some people really can’t eat vegan if you have extreme health issues or allergies, but let’s not use condescending “spiritual talk” to deny what’s right in front of us. That if we don’t cut back on our animal product consumption, I’m not even talking fully vegan I’m a flexitarian, we are going to destroy our planet and EVERYONE in it. I understand the circle of life but I also understand that the circle of life doesn’t include stealing breast milk from a cow after raping her and killing or stealing her child isn’t the circle of life. My cousin and uncle get majority of their meat from deer and other animals they hunt themselves from the wild and they use every part of the deer. Yet the same people who view them as barbaric for doing that support factory farming. If you wanna hunt your own food then you can call it the circle of life. Treating living creatures like a product isn’t natural. Plus no matter what we are going to have to farm vegetables but we would farm a lot less of them if we didn’t have to feed all the produce to slaughter house animals. It’s about harm reduction not perfection. Like I said im not vegan anymore, homelessness and poverty got in the way of that. When I was 90 pounds sleeping in abandoned buildings and on the side of the road I didn’t care what it was that I ate bc I was starving. I ate food off the ground for gods sake but most people aren’t in the situation and I lived it for years. Now that I’m blessed enough to have a home I rarely eat animals products but again not perfect. It’s the main things and the majority that counts. Plus plants are alive but they aren’t sentient??? So that’s not quite comparable. No disrespect I’m just sharing my opinion that I’m entitled to. Hope y’all are having a good day :)

Guilt in general is something made up to control people. Remorse is different, remorse is natural and helps us learn. But guilt is artificial and imposed from without.

Its a very etheric diet. Not impossible but there is a reason it is associated with meditation and advanced yoga (once the branches deal with transcendence and philosophy - why yoga had two categories - that for the "householder" and that for the devote facilitators)..... I was a vegan for many years at a tender age. Early twenties (I am a biological female). I was a devoted movement teacher (very active). I lived in the city (high stimulus). One needs a life with little loose ends to thrive, a life with little unpredictability and demands as the reserves for stress - simply aren't there on a vegan diet. And the further north you live (I am a Canadian) the less life giving the foods are as they are stored. If we look ancestrally in these regions, what did the people eat to sustain themselves? Usually starchy vegetables and they stretched the mammal sourced proteins by using the fat and organs. You sound as though you are burnt out, and turning it back on yourself as though you have a deficiency. You likely do not. You are at an age that your frontal cortex is stabilizing. Your executive area of your brain. The decision maker. Do yourself (as I did on the recommendation of a traditional chinese medicine doctor) and start including more local foods, with healthier fats and proteins into your diet. Give yourself the resources to regenerate. To this day it is my vegetarian friends who are the most anxious, depressed and depleted. They have poor tooth health. Weak hair. A low self image they are trying to correct with a sense of identity around what they do not eat. We may have energetic powers, but we are also ordinary humans. When I started eating fish and turkey (and eventually red meat) I felt how much more contained emotionally as well. One of the major lines of your vagus nerve is insulted in fat. You cannot build this on plant based fats alone. And with the ocean in the state it is in, land based animal sources are necessary. We need to be incredibly grateful for this. Starving ourselves drags us down and those around us. You are not meant to have zero impact. This is not possible. We are part of a cycle and circle of life, that includes, eating. I appreciate that you mention your eating disorder and send you love around that. I went to a vegan culinary school years ago and most of the people there had eating disorders. Quite serious ones (I suppose I did too, but I also wanted to be a super hero which makes me laugh a bit, I thought it would be my super power and beauty tonic). There is a book from the late 90's that might interest you: The Beauty Myth. About how culture convinces women to shrink at their own expense and how this effects our affect - and we internalize the issues we have that stem from starving ourselves that could simply be corrected with eating properly (but come with things like, taking up a bit more space, and making imperfect choices that are being marketed as vulgar).

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your story and very interesting life experiences Mia! You said a lot of truth and I also agree that only a certain lifestyle (I think about yogis and breatharians) can support such eating habits. You are very awakened, and I know you will keep on spreading your light on people! ♡ Keep shining Mia!

I am watching all of your videos, I have just discovered your beautiful channel...I was a vegetarian for 18 years and I realised I ruined my health...it took me a long time to accept listening to my body and making peace with my ethics...I am still trying to find a way to heal, on a lot of levels, it was not only my nutrition but emotional aspects of my life that needed healing...and I am still trying to understand how to be able, in the future to make the best choices for my own health and full well being while still doing my best to be close to the values I had and still cherish....I have learned that every body is different, and that there can also be a way that is not necessarily all or nothing to follow...sending you healing thoughts

The happyness doesn't always comes from food, unless you have an eating disorder. Plus, I am vegan for 14 years and my eating was improved by the variety of food that I discovered since I became vegan. Also my health was improved... If you eat vegan is more likely to eat less crap, so it can't be otherwise than better. I think our Vanilla was foggy in her head since she had a psychological disorder in her childhood and as she was 11 years old when she became vegan or vegetarian (I couldn' t understsnd exactly), she maybe was too little to know how to feed herself with proper and diverse plant-based food, so she was struggling with a conflict about eating well and the ethic problem of saving the animals... So I think she was never ok with her choice and that is why she felt it wasn't for her, because maybe her family or other people around never supported her. Finally she gave up and she needed to come back to the omni diet and accept the inacceptable, meaning the fact that pain is part of life, so she has just healed her trauma from her childhood.... This fullfiling was perceived as phisical recovery, escaping the foggy mind or the demaged brain, as she said. This is neither a scientific prove for anybody and nor a good model for others to follow. Sorry about her experience, but I think her psychological trauma is still there anyway.... The man can rise to much more than practicing stoicism in this world and that is the thrieve of the mind and the spirit over the matter and body. We can heal through inner light and we can also feed through spiritual light, in the same way that a plant can live with the sunlight or a mushroom can live and thrive with the darkness and humidity. Vegan living is the best! The future is vegan and everything is not vegan, it is just trauma, dealing with a trauma or primitivism which has not been overreached yet. Or maybe the foggy mind was just about B12 vitamin suplementing, even if this is uncertain, too, because there are vegan people who have never supplemented and they had no problem.

My sister felt better after she started eating vegan protein. Vitamins didn’t help. I’m sure she wasn’t getting enough protein at all.

Beautiful video. Watching, listening I can’t help thinking to Sartre’ theory that something strange happens when a person filled with being realises they’re being looked at by a person who they desire. They become aware that the person is looking at them, but they don’t know what they are seeing. But, because they want to be with that person, they make an approximation of what they think they are seeing, and try to become that. In this process they turn themselves into an object, contradicting the nature of being.

I went through something similar to this. I am a pescatarian and I went a few years as a vegetarian but my body needed fish to become more healthy. I think because you eat with an understanding and work hard to care for what you eat, it makes it much better than how some people just eat whatever they want without a thought of the creatures, etc.

That's very true Justice!! Our body, our soul, they are the only ones who should get to decide what we eat. Because they, always act out of love and gratitude.

Thank you for sharing… I believe we all eat far too much meat and I think it would be better to have much less meat but a better quality when we do eat it. I’m struggling with my health at the moment after being Sick, i’m trying to get my energy levels back. As a 54-year-old it’s really important to take care off my health now 😊🇬🇧💕

Very similar to me.. became vegetarian in childhood, and remained vegetarian (though ate mostly vegan food) for 17 years until recently. A lot of health issues cropped up over the years, especially chronic and unexplained fatigue. I took 10-15 supplements every day in an attempt to feel okay. I realised last year that this is not sustainable, and then finally started eating fish again one month ago. It was really difficult at first and I broke down crying several times out of guilt. But I can't deny that my health is improving, and my family says I look more alive now, a sparkle in my eyes. It's not easy, but we can't sacrifice ourselves when it doesn't work and we've tried everything to make it work. 😢 Some genes make it more difficult to be vegan/vegetarian, if your ancestors heavily relied on animal products in their diet (true for me, Scandinavian)

As long as you eat ethically caught fish, it’s okay darling.
But I understand the guilt, I went there.
After 2 years eating some fish here and there, I’m back to vegetarian eating as it feels RIGHT. and that’s all that matters - do what feels right to you 🤍

I’m so sorry you had to experience this. I couldn’t imagine having to switch to eating animals. It would be traumatic for me. I am fortunate bc I have been vegan for 5 strong years. There were a couple of moments where I was feeling off but thankfully solved it by cutting something out of my diet usually. Of course, in those moments because of the conditioning of the world I wondered if my body was lacking nutrition from just plants. So thankful that that wasn’t the case. Wishing you peace and health through your journey!

It's not only about animal ethics, but also about the fact that animal agriculture is ruining the planet.
I'm also a pescetarian but I think the impact of meat on climate change is a topic we don't talk about enough.

I am from India and a strict vegetarian. I am sure that you switched on to vegetarianism without understanding your health, heredity and the climate. I feel you are from Sweden. A nation with 6months light and 6months darkness. Also I feel that you have switched on to vegetarianism after the age of 16. If yes then, your first mistake, you didn't think of your normal diet which is very much beef centric. You must gradually change your mind and food by understanding, whether you really liked it or not, whether it makes you feel healthy or not. And also, it seems that you don't know about the vegetarian food combination that should be taken for maintaining your health, inorder to remain healthy in the car northern countries. Equally true is the fact that there are vegetarians and vegans who don't get into such problems because they follow these steps while switching to vegetarianism. But anyway, as you have started eating fish along with veg food, you won't have any health issues. May god bless you with good health.

when i was young i consumed the fishes,
then i stopped to cure my internal wishes.
it creped up like shadows I felt so dogey,
my body was weak the brain grew foggy.
after awhile i struggled and pondered,
it then became clearer what's needed to grow stronger.
dusted off my pole, when back to the river,
got over my fears and caught me some dinner.
took my first bite, it felt weird at first,
the miracles god gave from within I felt nursed.
