Hair type- not complete straight, have a subtle wave to them Hair thickness- not too thin neither too thick Concerns- very oily roots, flaky scalp, frizziness Goals- get rid of flakiness, make them smoother and healthier (Ps- I have extremely long hair, so if anyone has more tips for that)
This is going to sound a little out there but I have pretty much the same hair and scalp type as yours and I use curd/ eggs before washing my hair to get rid of the flakes and oiliness. I then shampoo with an anti dandruff shampoo to make sure I have no flakes whatsoever and then go in with a moisturising conditioner like Giovanni olive oil conditioner. So far this has worked for me.
Type: 1c -2a My scalp isn’t extremely oily but lacks a little moisture especially at the ends. Concerns : hair loss when brushing, hair frizz at the top of my head, dry ends and spilt ends Goals: moisture and shine at the top and bottom of my hair and less hair loss when brushing and when washing hair 🙂
@@idktwt1907 what’s helped me contain moisture at my ends is using a light Argan oil on the ends of my hair and then using a soft sock to keep it in place while I sleep I also recommend getting hair trims about every 6 months 🙂
Hi, Audrey I really appreciate you dedicating your time to us :) Hair type: 2 a - b concerns: hair fall , frizzy , oily scalp, thin hair , tangles up easily. Goal : healthy voluminous hair , less hair fall and long hair
Something that really annoys me is when people say that you need to wash your hair like once a week to have healthy. That just isn’t true we’re all different, personally if I only wash my hair once a week I get dry scalp and dandruff, that obviously is my body telling me I need to wash my hair more.
Loved this video !!! Hair type: medium/corse Straight w/ slight wave like yours Concerns: breakage (even tho I don’t use heat) Goals: I want shiny, frizz free hair. Fast blow dry routine for the professional look. 💙
It’s possible that you might be experiencing friction damage (like me haha). It’s when your hair rubs against rough fabric (like clothes/bed sheets made of cotton) consistently. Could also happen from what your hair brush is made of.
thanks for sharing! ColorWow has a really nice fast blow dry spray that reduces blow dry time. Amika's The Wizard primer really helps me reduce frizz! I hope this helps!!
Also look into low porosity hair. I have a similar hair experience in that I hardly use any heat or color yet still have dryness and breakage. Just discovered this concept of low porosity and the way you're supposed to use hair care is completely different. I'm seeing some results even though I've just started.
Does anyone else have this problem where the top outer layer of your hair is really dry, frizzy, and coarse. But all the hair underneath is nothing like that. Like the hair underneath is soft and not coarse or frizzy. I have this problem and I’m not sure what it stems from!
Yes my hair is like that too. The top layer is frizzy, almost wire-y. Looks dead, dry, LOTS of breakage with a little waviness. But when I part the top layer up, the underneath is perfectly straight, healthy, no breakage and frizz free. Idk why.
Frizzy hair I just usually take a shower and then brush my hair but when I was watching your video I started using my spray bottle it has water and detangler and it's in them using this week and shiny leave n conditioner a wet hair brush and scalp massager
Hey y’all. I’ll tell you my stuff so it can help people. I have scalp psoriasis which means my scalp can be super dry and my roots will become super oily. I’ve found shampoos with peppermint in them or the T/Sal shampoo from Neutrogena works well! I avoid silicones and sulfate because I have 2b hair as well and they’ll build up on my scalp causing further inflammation. Rosemary oil also helps inflammation and hair loss I suffer from with scalp psoriasis. I aim to wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I use a moisturizing conditioner because my ends become dry and it benefits my hair. I use the L’Oréal Elvive serum cuz it’s lightweight and helps tame flyaways or when my hair is out of control from being thick. I wring the middle part to the ends out before putting the conditioner in and leaving it in for 2-3 minutes. Hair masks are essential for anyone no matter what. I always put my hair in a protective style when sleeping, so for me that’s a loose fan bun, braiding it, or a loose ponytail. I also use claw clips and velvet/satin scrunchies I always avoid ingredients that have been known to dry out the scalp and fragrance products because that will irritate my scalp condition. I usually go to the drugstore for everything considering I’m in school, so for me that’s Rite Aid and Target. My go to brand for example is usually Love Beauty and Planet for my conditioner. I always do my hair care routine at night because I have more time and I’m not in a rush. I try and air dry my hair all the time because the heat from the hair dryer inflames my scalp, but if I have done the Curly Girl Method, I wait at least 2 hours before setting the hair dryer on medium heat and low speed. I use the Not Your Mother’s Heat Protectant which I’d like to contain silicones because that will protect even more from heat damage. If anyone else has scalp psoriasis, please ask questions if you’re lost!! I’ve learned so much this year on how to care for my hair
Hey you are one of my favorite UA-camr I started to take care of my hair after watching your videos thankyou 🦋My hair type is 2b,2c hair and I absolutely love it.
When I first started trying to figure out hair care, I came across the “no poo” method. I didn’t wash my hair with shampoo for 2-3 months and it was awful. I have an oily scalp. Glad I’m finding info from people with more balanced opinions on hair care. And common sense 😂
I’m a 3a and I find if I want to straighten my hair I need silicones but if I want it curly I use a completely natural shampoo. I wash my hair every 5-6 days and that works best for me
Great video! Hair type: wavy, fine, low ish porosity, oily scalp Goal: a conditioner that's moisturizing but doesn't weigh down my hair, a styling product with hold that isn't drying or give me buildup Go to products: Neutrogena clarifier, head and shoulders supreme shampoo, body shop pre shampoo hair oil weekly on the ends
Hair type: I believe 2B. My hair is fine but has a lot of waves and easily frizzes/curls up. My hair gets dry super easily but my scalp generally tends to the oily side. Concerns are dryness, frizz, brassy color, and strengthening so that I can grow it longer & not lose so much hair :) also adding shine, it’s been so dull lately!

i have recently been experiencing very oily hair , and have been having a little bit of flakiness, do you have any recommendations for this !! Love your videos ❤️
This is my hair type. Here is what works for me. I like the JVN pre-wash oil and just plain rosemary water. I wash my hair every 2 days btw. Before showering on washdays, i either use the scalp oil or rosemary water. I leave it for like 30 mins then proceed going in the shower and shampooing twice. This really helped me get rid of flakiness and reduces hair fall. For the oilyness that’s honestly due to hormones or any health changes you made.
Hey! My hair naturally gets oily fast. To combat this, I use a sulfate free shampoo with surfactants that effectively get rid of buildup without over drying my scalp (that can make my scalp produce even more oils). I then use a clarifying shampoo every few weeks to remove buildup. Also, I make sure not to condition my roots! I hope this helps💗
Scalp type: oily to normal scalp Hair type: 1a/1b waves random places and straight the rest Concerns: dry hair prone to frizz and lack of volume in hair I feel like I am on a hair journey right now, but haven't really found what works yet

I have almost the same exact hairtype and concerns as you and trying to build a haircare routine on a budget .I saw you recommend affordable dupes for shampoos and hair masks and olaplex. Can you make a video with affordable product suggestions for each of the necessary steps and ingredients to look for(if the suggested products are not easily available in our country)?
Tysm for the video hair type: oily scalp, thin hair, 1B - 1C concerns: oily scalp, frizz, super thin/barley any hair volume especially the top of my head goals: less oily hair but still moisturized/shin, and more hair growth/volume
So even though you said to not adopt a random hair care routine, I actually adopted yours like 2 weeks ago lmao 😂 I definitely have the same hair type as you though so I felt pretty good about my decision. But ANYWAYYYSS I bought the products from your hair care routine video and safe to say my hair has been feeling amazing! I have never had “long” hair so I’m excited for this journey :)
Hair type: Dry/course. Wavy/curly a little bit! Very short! I think my hair is either 2b/2c. Hair goals: To grow my hair past my waist! Hair issues: breakage at the bottom my hair. Hair becoming more coarse as I age. I’m not that old I’m only 20.
Hair type: Mostly straight with slight waves. Scalp is more on the oily side. Hair concerns: Dandruff and hairfall. Hair also gets tangled and difficult to comb. Hair goals: Finding a good product to remove buildup, but also won’t strip my hair and scalp dry. I also want to reduce hairfall and grow hair in the areas which thinned out. Also want my hair to be soft, shiny and manageable. So for me, diys are working great for shine and manageability. Still trying to find a good shampoo tho, to deal with the buildup.
I don't know my hair type. I have very thick, coarse hair. I have a lot of hair and the strands are thick. My hair is wavy underneath and a little wavy on top. My hair concerns: dry frizzy hair with undefined curls. I would also love to know what my hair type is. I'm thinking 2c? Also, you are the first person I have seen that shows drugstore products! That was incredibly refreshing! I also could relate to the hair pulling! Hahaha I have a little one too 😅.

Hair type - I think 2a, 2b Concerns - Dry and dull hair, frizzy, hair loss in bunches(i mean everytime i comb i lose a lot of hair and also during washing my hair) Goals - Fluffy, healthy, thick hair. Thank you so much for your tips and videos. I hope you can help me. And also others through more tips and videos. Love you❤❤
I have oily scalp, and dry ends with alot of split ends. My hair is long and straight, but I don't have much of it you know 🙂 the hair itself is not very thin it's quite normal. My goal is to have more hair😂 what is your recommendations?
Sounds like a drying shampoo. Without seeing your hair and just guessing. Sounds like the shampoo dried out your scalp so it produces more oil to compensate. And the shampoo dries out your ends. Try using a less stripping Shampoo and start oiling your ends. Analyse turns and trim if you see any splits
Hi Audrey! Thank you for this great video. I think I have dry scalp but unfortunately I can’t go more than a day or two without washing because it gets annoyingly itchy. my natural hair type is dry, wavy, and thick, but a few months ago I started pulling my hair (trichotillomania) which led to me pulling so much hair every day for 7 months! luckily, I managed to stop before going bold and my hair is thin now and I'm trying to grow it back. I use: - coconut oil weekly - Hask biotin boost shampoo - thickening conditioner - sheamoisture black castor oil mask and leave in conditioner - I use the kerstase resistance serum - I use a trigger hair growth serum on the roots every night - I wash my hair every otherday is it good? please if you have any tips recommend it to me
Hi, so I have a sensitive scalp. I have dandruff so I have wash often but if I use a harsh shampoo or even clean my scalp too long with a gentle shampoo, my scalp becomes flaky and dry. But if I dont shampoo enough or just once for the whole wash, my scalp because oily quite fast. Especially the back of my head. I currently use loreal ever pure shampoo for dry hair along with aveeno acv shampoo and they are both gentle and work great on my scalp.
I have type 1 hair it’s very flat fine and straight never holds a curl and I had make pattern baldness at the front, I was so unhappy with it in July 2020 I shaved my head totally and I started experimenting on different potions and lotions as it grew back to see what helped and what wouldn’t , I did rice water which was good but it wasn’t until I made it with actual rosemary steeped in it that I saw a huge growth spurt , then I started shedding like crazy my Dr diagnosed Talogen effluvium which was a Bummer ,so as it grew to my chin area like my photo I added oiling to my hair and scalp , pumpkin seed carrier oil with rosemary peppermint and lavender 3 times a week night before washing and it’s growing again stopped shedding after 5-6 weeks and massing the oil into my widows peak has dramatically stopped the balding and I now have baby hairs growing in , so it’s now sat on my shoulders , still looks thinner than most being straight but it’s a lot better than before and I’ll have to accept it’ll never be thick hair but it’s super healthy right now ,I’m currant growing the blond bangs out and leaving it alone as long as possible and going to get it trimmed for the first time since I shaved it soon , thank you for all your hair advice it’s been really helpful xx .

What type of shampoo should i use if i have regularly dry scalp but it gets oily fast too? I used to wash it twice a week for abt a year but it was just always oily so now I wash it 3 times a week.
this also happened with me after sm years of having healthy and long hair. best thing you can do is cut and start moisturizing esp ends (I use a store bought oil during the first 2 days as to reduce frizz and will use olive oil a few times a week for ends during winter as weather is super cold). sleeping in a braid really helps as well, I slept w hair loose the other day and got a split end when I woke up but I just had to cut it lol. so the ☆key to avoiding split ends is moisture!☆
I have a lot of fine, long (lower back length) like, 1b-1c hair depending on temperature/humidity. Generally my concerns are frizz, flatness, oiliness and shedding (I’m really thin around my crown/temples, I think because of my ballcap, since I wear that more often than not, and I don’t generally wear tight hairstyles) I’m not sure if my scalp is actually oily or if my fine hair just can’t take much oil, but regardless that’s an issue 😂 I haven’t really nailed down anything that works well on my hair so any recommendations are appreciated!!

@@AudreyVictoria can u suggest me that after how many days should i wash my hair....! Can i wash my hair after 1 day gape only...( 1 day after tomorrow) ??
:) 3♡
@@AudreyVictoria talking about ‘Oily Hair,’ it’s my MAIN problem. I don’t wash often because of hair loss caused by medication. Then, all I hear is about the ‘ACV Rinse.’ I also heard to use ‘Coffee Grounds’ as a scrub but, I can’t do that to clog the drain. Also, I don’t have the ‘Scalp Brush’ Plus, what about ‘Head and Shoulders?’ Since, that was the first ultimate scalp care.
@@Bella-ej2sr Use a gentle but effective shampoo, so look for something that will protect your hair (such as silicones) while still cleansing it. A good one is the Aveeno Fresh Blends Shampoo.
@@superwoman50505 Sorry Im so late. Thanks
*I like how you included time stamps for each and every point. It's easier to come back to and refer to. Thank you for making this video available.* 😘👍
Hair type- not complete straight, have a subtle wave to them
Hair thickness- not too thin neither too thick
Concerns- very oily roots, flaky scalp, frizziness
Goals- get rid of flakiness, make them smoother and healthier
(Ps- I have extremely long hair, so if anyone has more tips for that)
My hair used to have similar hair problems to yours, what helped me was to get a water filter and use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner!
I also have the same hair type and problems. Still haven't found the best products yet so if anyone did please let me know!
Commenting because I have the same type of hair concern and type, anyone got any tips?
Mine is almost the same, except I have thick hair.
Thanks for the super helpful advice!
Hair type: 1b
Concerns: breakage (my hair strands are thin), some hair loss, occasional frizz, dryness
Hair goals: volumize, strengthen, hydrate, reduce frizz.
@Ava-tw1zw thanks for the advice! :)
Type: 1c -2a My scalp isn’t extremely oily but lacks a little moisture especially at the ends.
Concerns : hair loss when brushing, hair frizz at the top of my head, dry ends and spilt ends
Goals: moisture and shine at the top and bottom of my hair and less hair loss when brushing and when washing hair 🙂
We have the same hair except I get frizz hair on the ends usually😅😂
i have the saaaame thing
ohhhh
@@idktwt1907 what’s helped me contain moisture at my ends is using a light Argan oil on the ends of my hair and then using a soft sock to keep it in place while I sleep I also recommend getting hair trims about every 6 months 🙂
Hi, Audrey I really appreciate you dedicating your time to us :)
Hair type: 2 a - b
concerns: hair fall , frizzy , oily scalp, thin hair , tangles up easily.
Goal : healthy voluminous hair , less hair fall and long hair
Hair type - thick, medium density and in the range of 2a - 2c
Concerns - dry scalp and frizz
Goals - soothe my scalp and get rid of frizz
Something that really annoys me is when people say that you need to wash your hair like once a week to have healthy. That just isn’t true we’re all different, personally if I only wash my hair once a week I get dry scalp and dandruff, that obviously is my body telling me I need to wash my hair more.
Loved this video !!!
Hair type: medium/corse
Straight w/ slight wave like yours
Concerns: breakage (even tho I don’t use heat)
Goals: I want shiny, frizz free hair. Fast blow dry routine for the professional look.
💙
It’s possible that you might be experiencing friction damage (like me haha). It’s when your hair rubs against rough fabric (like clothes/bed sheets made of cotton) consistently. Could also happen from what your hair brush is made of.
@@PS-fk5zv happens to me to do u get when u over brush your hair it goes SO frizzy
thanks for sharing!
Idk why.
Yes! It’s like the outer layer is facing the storm alone😭
Same here sisters
I have it the opposite way 😂
omfg my hair like this too 😭 did u find anything that can help it
hair type: straight
scalp type: oily with dandruff
concerns: rough texture, no volume (unless air dry), oily easily, dandruff
goals: soft hair, silky, no dandruff, volume
I also use claw clips and velvet/satin scrunchies
I always avoid ingredients that have been known to dry out the scalp and fragrance products because that will irritate my scalp condition.
Loved this vid!!
I was a hairstylist for 6 years and I love your videos!
1. Straight hair with minimal waves at the end
2. Oily scalp
3. Low porosity hair
I’m a 3a and I find if I want to straighten my hair I need silicones but if I want it curly I use a completely natural shampoo. I wash my hair every 5-6 days and that works best for me
Great video!
Hair type: wavy, fine, low ish porosity, oily scalp
Goal: a conditioner that's moisturizing but doesn't weigh down my hair, a styling product with hold that isn't drying or give me buildup
Go to products: Neutrogena clarifier, head and shoulders supreme shampoo, body shop pre shampoo hair oil weekly on the ends
My hair type is 3A. My concerns are Frizz,Dry scalp,Hair not growing,And a lot of flakiness. Btw Audrey you have inspired me a lot on Haircare and I’m very grateful for coming across your channel❤.
This video was so useful and i'm so glad you provide so much info!
hair type: 1a - 2a, thinnish
scalp type: oily but used to be really dry like a year ago
concerns: my scalp gets oily so fast
goals: long and healthy hair, go longer between washes
i have recently been experiencing very oily hair , and have been having a little bit of flakiness, do you have any recommendations for this !!
If ur hair is usually not as oily and suddenly it becomes oily then maybe u are stressed and ur cortisol level is high … u should check this
thank you for the advice ☺️
@@AudreyVictoria thank you so much ☺️
Scalp type: oily to normal scalp
Hair type: 1a/1b waves random places and straight the rest
Concerns: dry hair prone to frizz and lack of volume in hair
I feel like I am on a hair journey right now, but haven't really found what works yet
You have put a lot of work in to this. Thank you so much Audrey ❤❤
Hair Type: 2a-2b.
Hair Thickness: Fine

Yes! Important to build your hair routine for YOUR hair!
Can you please do a video trying the inversion hair growth method?!
Thank you for this. My hair so coarse and dry but straight. My scalp is normal to dry. It helps me to use none salon shampoo with no silicone or sls. I can use good hair conditioner salon quality if affordable.
Ok I have 1b hair, oily scalp

I have almost the same exact hairtype and concerns as you and trying to build a haircare routine on a budget .I saw you recommend affordable dupes for shampoos and hair masks and olaplex.
Can you make a video with affordable product suggestions for each of the necessary steps and ingredients to look for(if the suggested products are not easily available in our country)?
Hair type: 1A
Scalp Type: Dry
Hair Concerns: Growth, Length Retention, Overall Health
Hair Goals: Healthy, Silky, Long, and Bouncy
Tysm for the video
hair type: oily scalp, thin hair, 1B - 1C
concerns: oily scalp, frizz, super thin/barley any hair volume especially the top of my head
goals: less oily hair but still moisturized/shin, and more hair growth/volume
So even though you said to not adopt a random hair care routine, I actually adopted yours like 2 weeks ago lmao 😂 I definitely have the same hair type as you though so I felt pretty good about my decision. But ANYWAYYYSS I bought the products from your hair care routine video and safe to say my hair has been feeling amazing! I have never had “long” hair so I’m excited for this journey :)
yayyyy! I'm so glad that my routine is working for you!
Your hair is so beautiful! I have been watching your videos to get a better hair care routine!
Hair type:
Dry/course. Wavy/curly a little bit! Very short! I think my hair is either 2b/2c. Hair goals:
To grow my hair past my waist!
Hair issues: breakage at the bottom my hair. Hair becoming more coarse as I age. I’m not that old I’m only 20.
The K18 product worked so well for my damaged hair!!!
I have a similar hair type to you! I have been using a similar routine to you and my hair has been so amazing!
Can Refreshing scalp+... shampoos reduce hair loss? And I also have dry scalp. 😔😔Please answer me my love...❤❤❤
Wow, your videos and explanation are next level & professional

Hi audrey victoria could you please do a video of what products u could use for oily frizzy hair that has breakage and is damged hair. Please i will appreciated alot
Hair type - I think 2a, 2b
Concerns - Dry and dull hair, frizzy, hair loss in bunches(i mean everytime i comb i lose a lot of hair and also during washing my hair)
Goals - Fluffy, healthy, thick hair.
My hair type I think is similar to yours, maybe a little more wavy and extremely frizzy. My main concerns and goals are to alleviate the itchy scalp and to tame the frizz. Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks doll 💖
If u have oily hair it naturally looks shiny and can wash it everyday or so
About Rosemary have a study that compare Rosemary and minoxidil, they Said that in 6 months they 2 have te sane efects but Rosemary don't have the side efects
You have the most gorgeous hair I have ever seen in my entire
I love all your vids of hair care. One question, how do you make your hair straight natualy without hest?
my natural hair type is dry, wavy, and thick, but a few months ago I started pulling my hair (trichotillomania) which led to me pulling so much hair every day for 7 months! luckily, I managed to stop before going bold and my hair is thin now and I'm trying to grow it back.
I use:
- coconut oil weekly
- Hask biotin boost shampoo
- thickening conditioner
- sheamoisture black castor oil mask and leave in conditioner
- I use the kerstase resistance serum
- I use a trigger hair growth serum on the roots every night
- I wash my hair every otherday
is it good? please if you have any tips recommend it to me
Hi, so I have a sensitive scalp.

Hey Audrey I love your beauty and hair care videos💛.
Because of you I built a haircare routine and it works amazing, thanks :)
What type of shampoo should i use if i have regularly dry scalp but it gets oily fast too? I used to wash it twice a week for abt a year but it was just always oily so now I wash it 3 times a week.
how to reduce hairfall?inwant long thick hair
Thank u so much for this video!! I've been noticing split ends/dry ends lately and I didn't know where to start 🥺
this also happened with me after sm years of having healthy and long hair. best thing you can do is cut and start moisturizing esp ends (I use a store bought oil during the first 2 days as to reduce frizz and will use olive oil a few times a week for ends during winter as weather is super cold). sleeping in a braid really helps as well, I slept w hair loose the other day and got a split end when I woke up but I just had to cut it lol. so the ☆key to avoiding split ends is moisture!☆
If you had to choose between the kerastase hair oil, Olaplex oil or morocconoil oil, which would you choose?
Why is this video so interesting
Like I learn so much from your videos
THANK YOU SO MUCH
