POV: you’re watching this bc you regretted the second you cut your hair
Fr
not really I just want to make mine longer lol
FR!!! I completely regretted it 😅
Exactly!!!
Relatable😅
FINALLY someone who has a hair growth video NOT promoting not washing your hair!! When I began my hair growth journey I started not washing my hair as much as possible and literally it ruined my hair. I thought it was something else so I tried literally everything but it turned out I'm just one of those people that has to wash my hair at least every other day. So thank you for this video because now I feel less crazy!
I agree. I followed that trend of not washing my hair as much and ended up getting folliculitis! I also got a few bald spots from doing that. I realize now that by prolonging washing it caused clogged hair follicles. It makes a breeding ground for bacteria and build up
I have to everyday due to oily skin, you get the response of noooo stop and it won’t be as oily but for me it’s not over washing it’s just I have extreme oily skin and my hair suffers for it, everyone’s situation is different and we can’t all be placed in one box
It depends on your hair type because mine is dry, frizzy and pretty curly so I wash my hair once a week because washing my hair anymore than that in a week would just make my hair super weak and dryer. In contrast, my mum has very straight oily hair and she washes her hair every two days and that works for her.
Wow 😱😱😱😱
Exactly I actually always get hairloss when my hair is left oily or when i use oily products.
I’d like to emphasize that nutrition is key for hair health and growth. You can put all the products on your head but those are temporary fixes. Fixing my diet and realizing my deficiencies was key to getting my hair back on track. If products aren’t working look at your diet!!!
Yess girl
True. When I was living on my own, working 24/7 and eating poorly my hair was shit. I moved back to my parents' house and my hair is phenomenal!
This is such a good point!! Consuming protein and water are essential for healthy hair!
Thanks for the tip
Hi what did you change about your diet /any supplements?
Same here with drying! I put on a microfibre towel the moment I get out of shower, leave it on for about 30 minutes. After I’ve taken it out, I gently brush my hair with a wet hair detangler, let it air dry for about 10 minutes then finish off with my hairdryer on the coolest setting, and it’s always silky smooth and less frizzy than if I let it air dry completely. I always have this argument with others who are completely against using a dryer to dry hair, but honestly my hair thanks me for it.
I screenshotted your comment. I need to start doing that!!!
Yeah. My hair gets tangly if it air dries. I have to use a blow-dryer
@Karrambide how do you screenshot please
My hair is way harder to dry with a hair driyer if it air dry is it fells so nice
@@ritabrandow1318pull screen on phone down. You'll see a Screenshot icon. Click. Got whatever was on your screen at that moment. Hope helpful 💕
The science behind brushing your hair from bottom upwards is the fact that when you brush it from the top of your head you only make knots tighter and end up breaking them with your brush. From the bottom, you can smoothly detangle them at their very tightest spot. Highly recommended!
I used to have super wavy anf thick long hair. But ever since I don't wash my hair as often, sleep less, became vegetarian, and use no paraben sulfates and silicones my hair changed and is worse. Sometimes sticking to what works best for you is better than other people's advise.
Yes girl, I have thick wavy hair and it’s long and healthy and I do the opposite of this video, my hair needs sulfate and silicone due to our hair is super thick so need that extra moisture back in our hair.. do what your hair likes we all have different hair type! 🥰💜 hope this help!
@@annalopez8788 exactly! she always disclaims that her videos are her experience and to find out what works for you!
This happened to me when I was a vegan…. Make sure you’re getting essential nutrients, get a blood test.
Does anyone else find her voice soothing lol 😭 😆
Your channel is growing fast!!! Well deserved 👏 content is always good
Thank you so much!! I appreciate all of you so much 💗
I’m always so excited to see your new and old vids I haven’t seen yet! Thanks so much, you so helpful!❤️💕
When it’s my hair washing day I apply them Rosemary and mint oil by Mielle and keep it in for a minimum of 30 mins and it’s been helping with my itchy scalp ! It’s supposed to help your hair grow too but I’ve only used ir for a month so cant quite tell yet
Yes i love that oil
P
Do you put it on your scalp?
Oooooo I’ve heard really good things about mielle. I’m definitely going to give it a try.
I just bought this from Walgreens the other day, I’ve had dry scalp for like a year and could not figure it out. This immediately got rid of my dry scalp I’m so excited to keep using it
I shaved my hair off 6 months ago and I’m trying to educate myself on how to grow healthy hair FAST! Thank you for your video. Going to practice a few tips from this video to see if I notice a difference to my monthly hair growth.
Can we have an update?
well? did it grow?
did it grow?
@@Narii.eI would absolutely say that my diet and nutrition had the biggest effect on my hair growth. All these steps will to some extent help promote healthy hair but without a nutritious diet your hair would not look healthy or grow faster just by using these steps. The magic is in what you’re putting in your body which will make your hair grow so quickly! I’ve shaved my head 3 times now and have tried so many quick fixes but really noticed the difference when I changed my diet.
@@Tiddley Thanks for the update! What kind of diet have you focused on or foods you cut off to notice this change? Also have you used any hair growth oils like rosemary?
Audrey I really hope you see this cause you inspired me to start my hair care and now I love my hair thanks to you I owe it all to you
Your edits of little videos was adorable lol this was such a fun video to watch ❤️ thanks for tips
Your natural texture is so beautiful! I LOVE the waves! (And the vid!❤)
I was searching for this kind of video , thanks Audrey !
You take such good care of your hair and taking care of your hair really takes effort and energy props to you
This is absolutely wonderful advise. Been growing my hair for 9 YEARS!! and it's only bra strap length. I quit SLS streatched my washes gave up heat etcetc. Still my hair grows so slow. I notice when I washed once a week I lose so much hair, it's also a greasy mess. I've switched to Co wash and I'm going to try washing every other day, and heavy oiling once a week. So far I've noticed less hair in my brush even though it's been 4 days.
this video was so helpful! i’m obsessed with your new hair!!
oh my gosh, thank you so much 💗
thanks for all the tips, super helpful! also your lil edits in between are so good rlly made me laugh 🤣
this is so helpful! Thanks! 💯
Thanks for this video Audrey!
congrats girl and this really really helped thank you so much have fun with your family!!!!!!!!!
OH MY GOSH AUDREY THANK YOU, this was great, and it was awesome for someone to not tell me i have to have greasy hair most the week, you have beuatiful hair!
Congratulations, you found a guy in the comments
And yes I'm growing out my thick black curly hair
Excited to try these tips! And you put an Amazon cart ! You a real one 😌

You work so hard!!! It is so apparent how much you’re growing and getting bigger. I hope you become more and more successful in 2022 - praying God delivers blessings for you!
Your hair is stunning in this video 🌺
I chopped my hair in December 😭 out of impulse because I was depressed. But I actually really love long hair on me🥺🥺 hopefully I'll grow it to butt length this year😤
Same 😔
Same
How much has it grown?! Update!?
same huhu

can we just appreciate how she explains why she recommends things rather than just making random crap up and telling us to do it
I love your video’s. You inspire me to take care of my hair. Keep up the amazing work!
That's great. 👍🙃
Yess!! Setting those boundaries for your family! Love it💛 i couldn’t hear the little one at all during the video!
Thank you so much for the tips 🤗💕
I love your emphasis on scalp health. If the scalp, hence hair follicles, are compromised, then hair growth is too. Using a (large boar and nylon) Mason Pierson is my personal best advice. It increases blood flow to scalp AND distributes sebum (natural scalp oil). Best for straight or wavy. Taking a great Biotin supplement DAILY is also very helpful.
I have super straight hair like you. Last week I had a head massage and I used hair oil and I massaged it till my scalp. I shampooed 2 times a day and my hair was very healthy and smooth. I really wanted it to be long. I followed your methods and I hope it works for me. Thank you so much for these tips Audrey !! 😄
Did it work? And if it did how long did it take for you to see results?
your hair is really really long it is so pretty thank you for these ideas!! ❤❤❤
I love your videos Audrey and your hair looks stunning 😍✨✨
Thank you so much💗💗💗
I have been watching your videos for over a year, and I see a difference in my hair health and growth. I have been waiting for a video on how to get rid of dandruff, so please make one! (BTW, no rush!)
I love your videos !! Thanks for sharing your tips :)
Thank you for watching!! 💗
The reason your brush goes through much easier when it’s vertical is because the bristles align straight through. When you turn your brush the normal way and try looking straight through the bristles, they’re haggard and don’t align. But when it’s vertical you can see how they align in straight rows which makes it glide through your hair wayyyy easier.
Girl this is so helpful I feel like we have the same hair type and out of the hundreds of videos I have watched this was the most helpful for me! Thank you
youre hair is so pretty!!!
Thanks so much for the tips! This is really helpful, new subscriber :)
Thank you, this is awesome!!☺️👏
Gurl! Tysm for this! I had a buzz cut and now i have my hair like urs!
These tips I've been using are so good! my hair went from damaged and dry some points. When I found out these tips for my hair it went so smooth soft and healthy
This video was really fun to watch ❤
Btw as you've basically told a lot of stuff of what you do to your hair,so are we still getting the updated hair care routine ?
Yes absolutely! I’m actually still perfecting it but I have it down, I will share it with you guys!!
Love this video ❤❤
Me and my friend were literally just talking about hair growth she recently got covid and was hospitalized and then was in a car crash ... Which caused her to lose A lot of hair I think it was the stress on her body ... Definitely going to share this video with her ❤️
I got telogen effluvium as a result from my covid. I wish her the best of luck!
Wishing you all best of luck ❤️
Oh I’m sorry. I hope now she gets a reprieve from any and all stress. I hope she can now rebuild her health. Hair loss from stress and illness does grow back especially if you are younger.
I’m so sorry. Sending prayers, And much love. 🙏❤️
Just an update for those who sent good wishes and vibes: all my hair is grown in and I’m letting the length catch up and the new hair is as healthy as baby’s hair 💙
Literally I obsessed with your hair plus tell
me how should often I trim my hair or cut
God bless you, This is my first time doing this and I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH BETTER MY HAIR LOOKS! my hair is curly and when I brushed it using your technique it wasn’t poofy AT ALL!!!! ILYYYY(I LOVE YOU)
Thank you for sharing this with me and others I'm older but still want nice hair it's always been long till I got sick and lost it . I did learn from you today
This is so useful thanks 😊👏
love your videos!
Thank you, great video x
Love the video! Just a heads up from what I've learnt following the curly girl method.. it's good to avoid sulphates in shampoo however you then need to avoid silicones in conditioners as they can only be washed out with sulphates and will lead to product build up if you don't use sulphates.
Some hair tips I used and they worked for me!
1:Wash your hair every other day (If you wash your hair everyday your scalp gets oily and will tend to leave dandruff and will leave bald spots)
2:brush your hair at least 2 times a day (This helps your hair get rid of snarls and tangles)
3: I used a anti itchy scalp shampoo (Cause my scalp was really itchy this might not work for you but if your scalp is itchy I recommend this type of shampoo)
4: massage your scalp (this helps your roots relax and might help grow out your hair roots)
5: Get your split ends cut off or a trim (This will help remove the dead hair on your scalp and won’t be in the way for growing new hair)
6: Leave your hair in a towel after your shower/bath for at least 10 min (this will dry your hair but will also leave it a little damp and will help your hair when you brush it)
7: blow dry your hair with the cooler setting
Bye!
Oki
I have a lot of long dead ends so if i cut my hair I will have really short hair
for tip one, washing once a week is good?
@@athena-sy2bz It really depends on your hair type. If washing once a week works for you, then perfect! But remember, don’t let it get TOO oily.
Yes but for the towel one I would recommend using a microfibre t-shirt as it’s not as agressive and DON’T put your hair in a “twist” when toweling it up! This will lead to breakage and pulling in your scalp and damage your hair so just be careful!
I actually noticed that as well when I wash my hair more often my hair grows way faster. I tried the dirty hair and my hair was not growing how it should. When I wash more often my hair grows faster and overall healthier. Of course do what works for you but don't follow what everyone else does because it might not be for you or work for you.
Love how this video is edited!!
I subscribed to your channel because I like how you explain everything 👍😊❤️
Great video ! Also I just love your skin and makeup , you are such a natural beauty can you do a video on makeup you like to use and colors , I love how it looks so natural, sorry you might have done it already ! Love your video :)

Thanks, I love my hair short but I made a promise to my bff that I would grow my hair to my waist in two years. This helped me out a lot.
And just like that, I’m subscribed!💕
omg thank you so much! i love my UA-cam subscribers the most 💕🥰
Thank you So much for this video💕
Most of these are just healthy habits and I mean that in a good way! Someone recently told me that people with nice hair have a routine and I think that's true! Thank you for the tips, you have the most beautiful hair 😘
I would LOVE to see a video on how you get your hair so SHINY!!! How do we go from dull to sleek?
The best video on hair growth 👍👍💯💯
Ahh thank you so much! Ill definitely use these tips (:
Yay! I’m so happy to be able to help you get longer hair 😍
Thank you so much!! I’m in the middle of growing my hair and it is about pixie cut length. This is going to help so much you are literally my savior
💗💗💗 I’m so happy to help !!
hi!! im growing my hair from pixie cut length too but im just starting, over the time since your comment how far have you gotten growth wise? hoping to have my hair grown out enough before graduation!!
@@awstennn for one, I’m a guy so my hair doesn’t grow as fast as women, but I’ve gotten to my shoulders. Keep in mind I also have dry hair and it’s curly so my hair takes a while to grow out. The most important thing for me is to just focus on split ends.
Nutrition is key
@@awstennn but if your a woman and have straight hair it will probably grow faster with the right routine
@@cragalega. amazing!! im glad it's worked pretty well for you. considering my hair type and that it grows decently fast, hoping to be at my shoulders by graduation!
advice for everyone, i’m a cosmetology student, dry scalp and dandruff are two different things, dry scalp is tiny skin flakes while dandruff is larger skin flakes. dandruff products will NOT work on dry scalp
THANK YOU!!!!! dandruff is caused by an overgrowth of naturally occurring fungus on the scalp!
That means u have oily hair
I think the majority of people know that by now…
@@ReflectingonReflectioni’m just sharing something i learned in class??💀
I like how she’s really putting out that ‘this is what works for ME’ because yes it works for her but that doesn’t mean it’s the magic solution to everyone’s hair
I got so much productive, self care andall alll thanks to u ❤❤❤
Amazing video dear. Thank you for sharing.
My hair grows so slow so this was very helpful
I only started watching since yesterday but I can’t stop watching your vids!!IM your biggest fan!!!Pla make a house tour video!
Yes, i found it too that unwashed hair falls more even blowdrying on the lowest setting when almost dried along with brushing makes the hair smoother
Thanks for this video I've been trying to grow my hair for yrs now yet it doesn't seem to be doing so, it's really frustrating because I really want long hair, thanks for this Audrey!
Your hair is so beautiful that it makes me cry 🥺❤️
thx queen ily
Oh my gosh thank you so much I got my cut short and I realy have been looking for ways to grow it back.
Okay but her hair is super silky and beautiful. Thank you for the tips!
I am happy to hear this video that teach how to make my hair grow faster than before.👍👍👍
Hi Audrey, love your videos !! I’ve actually just started my hair journey and well I’m trying new things and tips such as not washing my hair for a week, using essential oils and looking at the ingredients in my hair products but I find that I’m losing more hair. Is this because of buildup, or not washing my hair as much and changing my routine quickly or is what I’m doing not right for my hair ? Should I wash my hair more than once a week ? Should I just go back to washing it everyday or just once a week? Im scared to try things and still see the same result. I have so many questions and am so confused and scared my hair will become super thin and take forever to grow to the rest of my hairs length :( I’d Love to hear what you think !
Wow this is so informative! Thanks a lot I had to cut my hair recently to be damage free. I have a question while using all of these products do you use it all at the same time or different times?
I just luv ur videos ur my favarit tuber& ur my inspiration luv u a lot 🙂
Thank you so much I really appreciate your help! 💕 I have been watching you since the beginning.
A healthy scalp! Yes. I love the lustre in your hair.
ur hair is literally so shiny and healthy looking
Thanks!
I take Viviscal and I swear that stuff is amazing!
I love your videos so much! I was wondering if you’d recommend some shampoo for swimmer who have to wash their hair everyday (because of the chlorine) that helps with growth and damage and all the things you mentioned!
thank you for the hair tips
Thank you for the news that would be a lifesaver tool so thank you
