This show will stay with me for the absolute rest of my life. It was so hauntingly beautiful in a morbid way. Not the things this man endured, but the way that trauma can truly affect a person, including self loathing and how those things can dictate so many choices/decisions we make even when we know we aren't always making the best decisions and so on. What I found most beautiful was how he began to find a better outlet and way of coping for his pain. I too had went through some similar things this man had, and so for me, his speech and (No spoilers) "breakdown" on stage he had towards the end of the show had me in tears and stuck with me for days, if not weeks after watching. Just, Wow! The talent, bravery, and pure strength of this guy amazes me. It's not easy when you've been hurt or harrased/abused in any way by another. But to lay your authentic self and pain out there for the world to see and try to accept your entire self, trauma, and all, I'll just say, this man has my utmost respect. I truly hope he is doing better. 👏 Bravo on a masterpiece of a show.

In all honesty, as a comedian myself, I get it. Most people get burned out with it, and the love of doing it isn't always enough to drag you through it and keep you going. There's nothing noble about sitting on the circuit for years and hating it. Move on and find what you like. Creativity changes.
No such thing as bi it’s only closeted people that say that
If you watch the series, what happened was more of a shift from heterosexuality to bisexuality via sexual trauma which is actually a very common thing. He was closeted yes but being bisexual is not some made up social construct as social lubrication for homosexuality
@@franzliszt4038the trauma was in some ways self inflicted though. The first time he felt weird he shouldn’t have gone back. Who stays in a house with someone days and days on end and then accuses them of something?
@@samlagos2192 self inflicted trauma works the same way. I personally believe it was all the other guys fault for grooming him but say Richard let this happen to himself, it still changed his sexuality.
@@franzliszt4038 mate he was gay from the start. This was the massive push he needed. Why else would you keep going back seriously. Spending days and days in a row there. Transsexual dating apps, gay pornography, his situation with that man, the one night stands with blokes. It’s in front of you mate
@@samlagos2192 he spent days and days there for the work oppurtunity, not to hook up with him tf. He went on the trans dating app and starting dating men AFTER the incident so my point still stands and im sure he would agree with me. If he was gay before what is the point in getting in a relationship with a girl and then moving in with her??? Your statement assumes he has some ulterior motive here aswell as him blatantly lying in the programme that after the assault he felt his sexuality changing. Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one if im being completely honest.
