Well done F&F…Most acknowledge the instrumental side of this cover as exceptional..and it is..but I would argue the vocal layers were the star of this cover..5 vocalists blending their voices like that..wow..

As a fossil myself who was around when this song was new. That was awesome. I kind of like the fact that I can catch the lyrics a bit better in this version.

Life rolls on and sometimes, right under our noses, we miss the changes. So it was that it dawned on me that F&F has been at this for quite awhile. In the beginning, the 'Foxes' were teenagers. Now, still young women, you can see the growth. In the dozen plus years that have passed, while always good, they've refined their talents injecting themselves into the songs with an obvious understanding and feeling for the material. No matter the genre, they do the song justice. Respectful and committed. Always delivering quality with modesty.
14 years ago they would have been practicing for that first show at. Bella's, March 14, 2010.
Have been a fan for at least the last 10 years, the growth is phenomenal, and they all seem like really nice crazily talented people. I hope they're around for another decade.

Covering any Steely Dan song has to be one of the most difficult and challenging undertakings for this band and once again, the end result is astounding! Tim’s vocals are right on and the backing vocals and harmonies are vintage foxes and fossils sound. The two lead guitarists really nail the lead parts created and performed in the studio by Skunk Baxter, an amazing guitarist who played on several Dan records.I have listened to many covers by this band and I would put this one in my top three. Great job!

Came out when I was a pre-teen and a much beloved Steely Dan tune faithfully and respectfully performed by Foxes/Fossils Team.
Wow. It's hard to believe I've never heard of this band until now. But it's music like this that hasn't made me lose faith in modern music. Awesome cover of one of my all-time favorite bands! I hope you guys do even more covers of what was arguably the best decade for music!

I've just come out of hospital after an unexpected illness which nearly killed me - but luckily I pulled through. I wasn't fit enough to use the wifi there, so have a lot of catching up tp do on UA-cam. This one just got caught up with - and it is quite up to the high standard that F&F deliver. Quite amazing cover of a very difficult song. Steely Dan numbers are difficult to cover, but this band do it very well indeed.
Tim does an outstanding job on this challenging classic also perfect harmonies and cord changes oh instruments.
