All Land Cruisers are awesome. That being said, the 80 Series is the best looking of the group. There is a lot of speculation that the new Land Cruiser that is coming to the USA is going to look a lot like the 80 Series with a few tweaks and addition of modern technology.
I’d build it out! Capable rigs like that should be enjoyed to the fullest in my opinion. I don’t believe in keeping things garage queen, have fun with it. You can’t take it with you when you die. You will leave behind a clean barely used landcruiser and had no fun, lol
Beautiful 80 series, I’m not sure which I’d prefer but as a 100 series owner I think I’ll stay with what I know. What’s your filming setup? Vids look and sound great. Thanks!
Diggin the 97. You need to stop you give me too many ideas about buying stuff. 😮. Wish I lived closer to you. LOL. I appreciate you comment on confidence in bad weather. 🎉
I would leave that 80 completely stock. There's no reason to waste money on rims or anything else cosmetic like that. I wonder why yours didn't come with running boards and the roof rack. Maybe they were taken off. One thing I would do is drop that that spare tire down and grease the chain. After all those years they can get really gummed up or rusty. I will send you a message in IG. I will be in Rapid City, SD this weekend if you are still interested in the rear seats. I know it's not that close but it's closer 😁 Oh and a couple other things. 1. You should get the center diff locking switch. All the 80s are already wired for it. It's just behind that black switch next to the hazard light switch. What that does is allow you to lock the center diff even in 4-high. You can search for the switch online. It's super easy, you just plug it into the harness that is already there. 2. I think Joey at WitsEnd sells the little red button that goes on in that empy hole forward of your shifter. Just allows you to shift without the key in or it running if you need to shift to N for any reason. Normally there should be a plastic cap there. That's all 😁
Hey thanks for all the content I really enjoy your style and topics. Question that you may have answered before, I’m genuinely curious why you live in WY but your cars are registered in OR? From what I know OR is a high tax state. Even if you have homes in both places why OR? Is there an advantage? Thanks!
Pros and cons to it. I have a residence in OR. I have to pay OR income tax but get a sales tax relief when registering vehicles. WY doesn’t have income tax. My vehicles are all shifting to WY this year as I’m no longer active military. Pros and cons.
Built to last but how do you explain the super low mileage ? I can say the same about a 30 year old leather sofa. I like the land cruisers but you cant' have more respect for it than tundra or tacoma.
Man that 80 with no roof rack is a beauty!
I love the LC Series. Keep them original. Definitely One of my dream cars and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Keeping it original seems like the right call. 👌
Love the look of the 80! What a find!
Thanks a ton, Brad! Very grateful to have found it. =]

Man Untamed, every time I see your LC200 HE I kick myself for not getting one when I had the chance! Beautiful family as well!

This is great advice, thanks a ton for the info! Appreciate you taking the time to comment this. 🙏🏼
Keep those oem wheels. I think the black center caps are throwing off the original design. Clean 80 Untamed. Excellent choice. 👍🏻
Thanks Douglas! Appreciate it man.
I agree… more I think about it, the more I want to keep the wheels OE. 👌
I'll take that 80, she has so much character and the interior has that no nonsense look. but i'll keep my 2016 4runner trail. Still love the 4runner.

Id keep the wheels original, and id either get brand new OEM center caps, or refinish those back to how they looked.
CAR value go up becose of the inflation 20-30 % coming up
by christmas
Ok Michael Scott is excited you are swapping the wheels.
I like the wheels. I’d put LED but leave it as it for the rest

Did they make different colors of green?
The Telegraph
New York skyscrapers sit empty as Manhattan reels from rise of home working
We want more videos of the 80 sir lol
Hi, what size of wheels, 285/65/18?
Would you sell those rims for the 80 if u decide you don’t want them? I would consider buying them 😊
I got a full set of 80 series 3rd rowing seating if you're interested.
I may be. Are they same color?Where you located?
@@UntamedMotors Yeah they look about the same, it’s tan leather off of a triple locked 96 Land Cruiser. I’m in the north Texas area.
I’d buy another 200 fast
Keep the stock wheel bro
Keep the Wheels! Please
I’d keep the wheels since they look like steelies. They beg to have fat tires
Keep it OEM.
Leave it stock
Green carpet? No thanks
Haha yeah I didn’t love that about it either
