This was a fantastic breakdown of this year's releases. I am so excited for Duskmourne the most, but Thunder Junction is extremely interesting too. I am honestly really intrigued by where Magic is going with this coming year, and I feel they are stepping outside of the box.
Appreciate the kind words, I always worry about these longer videos 😅
Like I mentioned to someone else, we're going to THREE new planes this year and all of them look hella interesting. I'm just gutted I have to wait till the end of the year for Duskmourn 😭
A better comparison for Bloomburrow, at least imo, is what if Redwall was high fantasy.
I can't say I've read or seen Redwall before, but after a Google search. 100%.
came to say this, one of my favourite book series as a kid
And it’s the Redwall comparison that came immediately to mind when I heard about this plane, and why I, for one, am excited to see what it holds
Agreed with all the Redwall comments!
Eulaliaaaaaaaaaaa!
So excited for Bloomburrow
Most excited for House of Horrorrrrr and Fallout.
Excitement about a 1 of 100. Gonna be a very bad year for magic
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the "Assassin's Creed" set.
Just got back into Magic (and brought my wife with me) about 2 months ago. Been out for almost a decade and the Warhammer and LotR sets brought me back.
Got the Ixalan precons too. I even picked up a Masters of Evil deck after a friend let me borrow theirs, and I don't care about Dr. Who at all.
Out of this, looking forward most to Fallout and Bloomburrow.
Really curious to see how they handle Final Fantasy next year, especially with how large the franchise is and its own existing TCG (hoping for lots of Emet Selch and Ascian support XD). They knocked it out of the part with the fun and flavor of WH and LotR.
I personally think the UB Dr Who set was done waaay better than the LotR set, so if Dr Who is anything to go by, Fallout is going to be amazing.
Lots of my friends who wouldn't normal take a second look at Magic are now playing because of UB, I think it's an excellent addition to the game :D
Fallout and Duskmourn. Bloomburrow seems kind of interesting as well I expect it to be best of the 4 main sets in terms of cards added that will become staples.
Here's hoping they're all bangers!
I love you vibes, editing and content overall. I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
Thank you! I'm trying to improve the quality bit by bit where I can. Happy to take on any feedback :D
bloomburrrow also starts the new story line of dragonstorm that last until ultimate or our return to tarkir in 2025
Yup the Omenpath Arc ends with Thunder Junction. Which concludes the first Act in the larger Metronome story 😀
This year and the beginning of 2025 actually has me excited. Fallout, Assassin's Creed, and Final Fantasy are three of my favorite video game franchises. And the standard sets right now look new and refreshing other than Murders of Karlov Manor. I've been playing this game for almost 10 years and thats the first set in a while where I have absolutely no hype for it. And I love Ravnica sets and maybe the spoiler season will change my mind but yeah its definitely the weak point of the year for me. Everything else seems really good!
Spoilers are looking mad fun tho
I am personally keeping an eye out on Ravnica Clue Edition, this kind of boardgame product is a great way to introduce new people to Magic, and the choice of Ravnica as the setting makes it easy to get those new players to play other Ravnica sets if they liked the Clue set, with both Remastered and Murders at Karlov Manor being right there.
Wizards' plans with this triple Ravnica release are very clear, and I certainly hope they succeed in bringing new players to the game!
all the standard sets look so cool and exciting- 3 wholly new planes with unique settings- A whole wild west plane, bloomburrow just looks like a ton of fun, plus the new horror plane being incredibly distinct from innistrad by leaning away from the monster movie flavor of horror and more towards what eldritch moon was, with the super unique setting of a single planewide mansion is so cool
This year is looking to be pretty refreshing, I can't wait 😁
Bloomburrow and duskmourne will be the hits of the year.
I know it’s probably a pipe dream, but I want to see some Redwall cards in Bloomburrow 🤞
It would be amazing if they did, but they would probably make them into secret lair drops
@@YOUDOG447 I don’t think even that will happen. I don’t think Redwall is popular enough for WotC to buy the IP. I can always hope though!
@duathhadron5040 That is true, but either way, IF it was a possibility, it would make the set so much better! But still, can't wait!
Dogmeat is going to be Insanely popular
Because he's loyal
And everyone knows that the player that kills Dogmeat is the first to get knocked out in the Commander game 🤣
Thunder Junction should drop early to mid April, since the Pro Tour featuring it is scheduled for end of that month
You could be right. I just went with a standard 90 days between sets as a rough estimate.
@@attackoncardboard yeah It's odd they announced it this way, not much time in between MKM and that set
Here's hoping Bloomburrow is like Lorwyn setting wise
I'm pretty sure they've confirmed they're going back to Lorwyn next year :D
Can't wait to see how wizards will ruin one of the best sets with their dumb ass antics.
I'm a bit tired of ravnica and I cannot see for the life of me how assassin's creed could sell well but other than that I eagerly await every commander deck from every set
it gets weirder and weirder, some people might enjoy it but not me. I'll stick with vintage cube draft I guess and the occasional older set draft when they offer it (like Khans of Takir recently)
Finally, a reasonable person and response.
IE Someone who says they don't like something and not "tHIs is RuINinG THe WHole gAME".
100% Respect your feelings. Hopefully something comes out this year that sparks some interest (surprise release), otherwise here's hoping does for 2025
I have a stupid question coming, and this is from someone who has never played a single game of magic but collected the invasion set when I was 10. I like the concept idea of Duskmourn. I'm thinking about collecting the set and eventually learning to play. Can I learn/play/build a deck with just Duskmourn cards?
The standard sets usually consist of a few hundred cards, so you can definately learn the game with Duskmourn and likely build a deck too.
If you have any other questions, just sing out 😃
One of the best ways to learn the game is through MTG Arena, the free to play version of the game on PC.
I badly want the cowboys set beacause i love steampunk and its very likely to be the first set to introduce Guns which would be wild!
I'll probably get a fallout deck, some Thunder Junction and most excited for Bloomburrow.
All excellent choices! I'll be covering lots about Fallout! Stay tuned!
Duskmourn 100%! Huge horror fan (phyrexia being my main drive to get into the main game) Am keen to nab a standard legal version of Aurelia though.
Psychological Horrors are my absolute favourites. So sad that we have to wait till the end of the year 😭
IMO Karlov Manor and Ravnica Remastered are the products I'm least excited for this year mostly because I'm a little burnt out on Ravnica as a setting at the moment and reprint sets aren't overly exciting to me. I will say though, focusing on a smaller slice of the world and less on the guilds is a bit of a fun idea, and at least they're the first thing to come out this year so they're sort of out of the way and I get to look forward to everything else this year. I think it's gonna be a good year for the game, and it doesn't look like it'll be anywhere near as bloated as the last couple of years have been, I'm particularly looking forward to Thunder Junction, Duskmourn and Assassin's Creed
“What if Zootopia and DnD had a baby” You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention
Apparently I'm way off. "Redwall" is the correct comparison 😂
Murders at Karlov Manor is looking to be dope.
Since I'm mostly playing standard, I'm only looking foward to the 4 coresets. MKM already looks kinda interesting, but I'm mostly looking forward to that western inspired one and the animal oriented one. But the horror set also sounds interesting :)
The standard sets this year are looking great! And I barely play standard 😂
Be nice if we get some standard percons this year.
And I'm not sure how I feel about the new party packs rares want be rare if there's up to 4 in a pack
Have fallout commander precons pre ordered. I am excited for that. I can't afford the collectors boosters hehe.
The outlaws set looks a bit ridiculous, but very hyped for the MKM set currently and looking forward to Bloomburrow. 😍 That looks so cute. More Squirrels!!
if u like bloomburrow, look up the long pratrol novels pretty good
Hopefully we get a surprise Ghost Busters release in the last set or even a Secret Lair since the new movie is coming out. This seems like a good year for Modern players but 2025 is gonna be a bank breaker.
ooo nice idea! My wife would kill for a Power Rangers Secret Lair. As I've said to other, anything is possible now!
its definitely a toss up of bloom burrow or thunder junction as the sets im most excited for
and modern horizons 3 looking forward to that but its also a really scary for modern since both times modern horizon sets warped all the eternal formats
and for the eldrazi there could be a eldrazi archtype in the set to bring back devoid or to do the Eldritch moon DFC thing with those again which is things turning into eldrazi. (and for a personal hope and prediction i think we will see 1-3 meld cards and one could be human yawgmoth turning into phyrexian yawgmoth)
Duskmourn is my most anticipated standard set of the year :D But they're all looking really good.
Technically, LotR warped both Legacy and Modern too. The Cycle cards as well as One Ring and Bow Masters.
And OH YES! Meld Yawgmoth would be awesome!
@@attackoncardboard yep i hope i'm right
infact to go further it fits the lore of a meld card
sometime down the line dyfed opened a permanent portal from domnaria to (old) phyrexia which yawgmoth wanted and then bounded himself to the core of phyrexia to become the phyrexian yawgmoth we all know
so the meld cards could be yawgmoth 2.0 and the other half being something like "Core of Phyrexia"
the UV light seems like a measure we will see in future sets, to combat Chinese proxy cards which have gotten too good lately
Bloomburrow looks dope! Like Redwall for MTG
It's totally possible to get a Redwall Secret lair too!
Most excited for Duskmourn!
Same! 😀
Outlaws looks so cool. Mind you I really enjoy cowboy stuff
I'm not usually a fan of Cowboy stuff (bar Red Dead Redemption), by when an IP puts their own spin on it, I enjoy it. I really enjoyed the Borderlands 3 Cowboy DLC.
As a person who reads western novels and plays Red Dead. I preordered all 4 precons
Outlars of TJ looks interesting along with Duskmourne, Bloomburrow looks whack but im surr will have some decent parts for prior and future decks to use. I got the Hail Caesar commander precon and its got some dope cards for parts but the issue now is pricing. This shit is expensive. Im juat waiting for the Final Fantasy set mostly. Im obsessed witb Final Fantasy
Looking forward to assassin's creed cards for my birthday 😍
Awesome! I'm very curious about this mini set!
Damn this year is looking amazing for me
Always love to see you post 🎉🎉🎉
Only really interested in Duskmourn though Fallout might be amusing, OTJ and MH3 will no doubt drop some crazy cards into the mix.
If Doctor Who is anything to go by, the Fallout set will be extremely flavourful while staying true to the source material 😃
I decided at the end of 2023 that my finances don't really have room for MTG, and it now looks like the perfect time to have gotten out. Of all these, the only one that interests me is Ravnica Remastered, and even that one I really don't need. I'll play Arena, and perhaps attend a prerelease here or there, and wait for 2025.
Completely understandable. I've definitely had to simply just say no to a bunch of products and hold out for the sets I'm really excited for.
Oh man, I wish bloomburrow would come out earlier. Im not a big fan of franchised cards that do not fit the fantasy aesthetic Im looking for in my decks.
i need those fallout cards now!
So Assassin's Creed won't have precon commander decks? 😢
As far as we know, no. And it's unlikely seeing as AC will be a mini set.
@@attackoncardboard such a shame
But hey, now I just will spend money on the Fallout decks 😅🥺 yay for my wallet
100% feel you on that one 🤣😭
There is already a horror-themed setting with innistrad, why to make other with duskmourn? I mean stickyfingers somehow represents the boogeyman...
My idea for thunder junction is to add criptids to the setting.
Not all Horror genres are the same. Innistrad was "gothic" horror, whereas Duskmourn will be "psychological".
I do hope that they do Narnia eventually maybe that’ll be one of the ones they do in 2025
With the current colabs they've done, I'd say nothing is off the table 😀
Can't wait 😊
Didn't Vraska die during March? 🤔
She had an arena fall on top of her, only ever assumed dead.
@@attackoncardboard Maybe there's hope for Jace then. 😁
There's no way he's dead. 100% will come back. There's already people pointing out clues that Jace was a double double agent.
I'm sure they're going to get more from The Lord of the Rings, since all the cards they get from you refer to the first film, The Fellowship of the Ring, and if they signed a collaboration, the next edition for 2025 will be The Two Towers.
I don't remember the "Isildur's Fateful Strike" scene happening in the first movie 🤔
at the beginning of the movie @@attackoncardboard
Was that in the same scene where Gollum's bite takes place?
Great channel!
😊
Here for Fallout. Fallout fans have 💰
Don't forget the 400 secret lairs
😪
Proxy and secondary market, vote with your wallets people!
yep
Great analysis
Appreciate it 😊 Posting longer videos like this always worry me. I want to make sure I include all the relevant information without making it boring 😅
Nice videoo! Tier one content :D
Really appreciate the kind words! I can't help but see a crap ton of improvements needed but I'm getting there 😅
Is this magic with so many cross overs I thought it was Weiss Schwarz 😂
So no packs besides collectors for Fallout4....😢😢 The Hell....
It's the same as the Doctor Who set. If you get the 4 commander decks, that's 1 of every Fallout card they're releasing. The packs are there if you want foil version. Much better than the WH40k options.
I'm going to spend so much money on duskmourn
We're in the same boat 😂
Waiting for mtg: paw patrol edition
If you'd have told me Fortnite, Princess Bride and Marvel were going to collaborated with Magic, I would have laughed.
Now anything is possible 😂
Looking forward for fallout and bloom burrow, which feels like going to be a feast for furries.
Waiting for FF
Assassin’s Creed will have no commander deck? If it is only booster packs, I think I’ll pass…
Confirmed only Beyond Boosters, Collector Boosters and a Starter Deck
Draft boosters being gone is not something I like. With the amount of commons cut in half, draft will see some massive changes. And probably not for the better.
And universes beyond? Yeah no. Stick to actual MtG. So many plains to explore and expand in universe. No need for other universes.
Bloomburrow seems cool. Kinda getting Eldraine vibes.
With Play Boosters, time will definitely tell. I'd assume WotC has enough data and metrics to make these informed decisions but mistakes have been made before. Holding my breath 😅
Regarding UB, we're literally getting 3 new planes this year and the first act of the Metronome story is ending. We're exploring a new multiverse 🤣
Bloomburrow also reminds me of Lorwyn too 😀
@@attackoncardboard ooh yeah definitely nice that we are going to 3 new planes. Really cool. And we are revisiting ravnica with the remastered set.
Idk what im hoping for. Maybe more of that instead of some one off like fallout or 40k last year. Yeah it's cool, big collab. Except it's hyped AF, and it releases and a month later nobody cares anymore. Idk im just rambling, i dont have to buy that product, i can just save money and wait for bloomburrow and the spooky set after that
@@alfadasfire The infinite spoiler train is definitely exhausting. This "quiet" period we've had since LCI was released has been so nice. We've only got 12 more days till the madness starts again 🤣🤣
@@alfadasfire just make sure you stay strong willed, keep your money and not buy crap you don't want , and not get any hype lure you into making dumb purchases, or they never get the message.
@@Blackadder75 Yeah for sure. I'm not spending a single cent on fallout or AC. I'm saving up for Bloomburrow I think. Or the spooky one after that. Don't worry :)
(*spit take*) There is a _Marvel_ collab incoming? For 2025? When I call Magic "Cardboard Fortnite," that _used_ to be a joke. I never imagined it'd get this bad.
...Actually that's a lie. This is _exactly_ what I expected would happen right about the time the 40k Commander decks were announced. Nice to see WotC cares less about their own lore than even _me._
Without shocks Ravnica Remastered is a huge stinker. There's a lot of draft chaft included in this set that no one is going to be drafting.
While I'm not a fan of the set. I am a fan of what it will do to singles prices 😃
There are too many sets being released these days. I barely have time to play with all of my older cards let alone any new ones.
Which inCLUEd 😂
Kicking myself that I missed that opportunity
I’m excited for fallout considering I’m a huge fan of fallout 4 (probably unpopular opinion) other than that ehh
Fair enough. Maybe when the other sets preview it might change your mind 🙂
bloomburrow it's redwall or mouse guard easy not zootopia
U sure it's gonna be amazing 😂
Did you watch the video? It's going to be a brilliant year 😁
@@attackoncardboard nah I just wanted to be first to comment 😂
@attackoncardboard an over saturation of product. Yeah, "brilliant".
Bloombyrrow seams like the only half decent set that will be coming. Going to be a very rough year
Time will certainly tell.
They should revisit The Walking Dead because that is what this game is.
Lord of the Ring set is on track to become the best selling set of all time, beating MH2.
The numbers very much say otherwise.
Buy deep into Fallout, ignore the rest in sealed product entirely and pick up the few hits on TCG, check back in 2025. Modern MtG is so simple compared to the 90's. Back when most sets were important.
I did enjoy playing Extended back in the day 😂
Kellen? Again why is he in every set lol
Similar to how the Gatewatch/Jace has been the poster boy for the last couple of years, things are changing up. With Outlaws of Thunder Junction, that's the last set for the Omenpath Arc story, could be some more changes on the way.
Wow, what may be the most underwhelming year projected in MTG history yet.
Definitely feels like we just watched 2 different update videos. I'm incredibly excited for this years releases. We've got Fallout, 3 brand new planes and MH3. And that's only the things that have been announced so far.
So surprised only a handfull of people myself included decided to boycott MtG after universes beyond was announced. Oh well. Looks like the game is blooming. Thought I might return, but nope, no way am I going to be facing some Doctor Who or Fallout bulls**t. But hey, selling all my singles might get my a brand new car, so that's great. To everybody who doesn't mind - enjoy the game, for that is all that matters.
Waaah. Your loss. If something like that can push you away from the game, you clearly weren't that in to it. Universes Beyond is opening the doors to new players and fans. No ones forcing you to buy the products
@@coomesy16 Yes, owning literally every commander staple card (except OG duals I must admit) until walking dead SL means I wasn't into it, sure.
@tubbywargamercz Makes it even worse you gave up because of Universes Beyond. My friends I play with couldn't care less for UB, but they still play and accept it. Bored hearing people whine about it.
@coomesy16 Universes Beyond is dope. Adds new elements to the game and like you said brings new fans in. Most of the Universes Bryond collabs fit right into Magic. Game is 30 years old and needed something new to the stale ass game. Well it's working. I will say I'm stoked for Duskmourne set tho. I like to play a lot of tribal decks with horror type cards so that will be dope. Insanely excited for Final Fantasy sets as I've been playing that series since I could pick up a controller. The only ones I'm iffy about with UB sets are just ones I have never been involved in like Assassins creed. Marvel might be a bit weird too tho. It will be strange playing classic commanders and themes against Iron Man or Spiderman. Tho if Spiderman can head a spider themed deck that would be awesome and hilarious lol
the parallel thinking between hearthstone and mtg for these set themes suss af.
Sets are designed years in advanced. You think MTG is ripping off Hearthstone? 🤣
@@attackoncardboard well the victorian whodunnit set came out last year, and the cowboy train heist set came out a month and a bit ago, so you tell me.
Sure. Maro tweeted out on *5th of September 2022* that the set codenamed "Swimming" is finalized. Do you know what set is codenamed "Swimming"? It's Duskmourn: House of Horror.
If we look further into Maro's Blogatog, we can see that Thunder Junction has been in design since March 2022.
And finally, you think Wizards can turn around a full set: Card Design, Story, Art, Other Design, Marketing, printing and distribution all within the space of a year?
@@attackoncardboard idk man parallel thinking only gets you so far for the set theme, which is decided on later on in the design process.
Ok here's another one. The art for the new Kellan in MKM. In the top left corner, it's signed by the artist, dated 2022.
How many more examples do you need?
Universes Beyond really ruins MtG. There is just no escaping it now. . .
How does it "ruin MTG"?
@@attackoncardboard I'm just not interested in playing pop-culture the Gathering. Even if I don't play the cards, others bring out Doctor Who and black Aragorn as their Commanders and I can just pack my things and leave. :/
@@markusaurelius83 Ok, so it's not "[ruining] MTG", you just don't like it which is completely different.
LotR is on track to be one of the best selling MTG sets of all time and it's brought thousands of new players to the game who usually wouldn't have given MTG a second look.
You're allowed to not like things, but that doesn't mean the game is ruined.
@@attackoncardboard Well, it's ruined for me and a lot of people like me and that's what I was referring too. Obviously there are many people out there who casually enjoy Magic as a "platform" instead of the story driven fantasy game that it was and they are happy with it.
@@markusaurelius83 bruh UB has pushed MTG into another phase it could never have gone into before. Who cares about some 30 year old story staying the same 30 year old stale ass story. My 99 have nothing to do with my commanders story. My 99 have everything to do with synergy to the commander and how do I hold up to my opponent. Like the creator of the video said, it brings new players. My younger brother would NEVER have looked at a card game and said "I'll play that" until the Lord of thr rings sets, some of his favorite movies, dropped and my older brother who loves fallout just asked me to come teach him to play and wants fallout decks. Once they get sucked into the MTG vortex then they will branch off into older cards and sets and maybe even you little storyline stuff. I've been playing MTG not because I care about a story. If i want that I'll buy some books. I play it like chess, for the strategy and synergy and cool ass cards. If I can build I spider tribal deck with Spiderman as the commander, you bet your pink panties and blue hair that's exactly what I'm doing
Ugh, too many of these sets feel too gimmicky. Wish they'd switched up the release order a bit.
It's ok if I don't personally care for AC, but Outlaws is among the cheesier things I've heard about. It has the flavor of Overwatch or a WoW holiday special or something. Same vibes I get from Karlov. Not why I'm in MTG... Hoping to be wrong. Bloomburrow, Duskmourn and MH3 are where it's at this year.
Asides from Fallout, Bloomburrow and Duskmourn are the sets I'm most looking forward to. I'm gutted we have to wait till the end of the year for them 😥
Bloomburrow looks whack, assassins creed is whatever as I never played the games much, Duskmounre and Outlaws look dope. Just waiting for Final Fantasy personally
Nobody cares about Assassins Creed in 2024
Damn Daniel, what's your source for this info?
Nothing special, maybe Modern Horizon will be a hit. WoTC is probably going to be looking at a horrible year. I'm sure they will blame it on the economy or their workers.
Everything Q2 onward, minus Ass Creed, is gonna be sweet as hell. Thunder Junction could be cool too.
I feel like you're in the minority on this one. I think this year is only going to be second to the massive year 2025 is going to be.
I do agree, however, that what WotC has done with the recent firings is awful and I really hope we hear a "well, turns out we're in the find out stage" response soon.
What's makes you think that, the cowboy flavored set? 😂
Ffs, everyone at Wizards needs to be fired.
People have been talking exactly this every year bro.
@@CB-ke7eqyeah so about that….
So sick of all the anime art treatment but of course just my opinion
Yeah I get that. Was fine for Kamigawa, but it's feeling a bit much now. Is there no other art style worth doing?!
Modern Horizon?
The rest sound like reprints and more reprints and furries.
3 brand new planes and 2 UB doesn't sound like a lot of reprints to me 🤣
@@attackoncardboardsorry, my consciousness didn't register the cowboys, because I am not into western that much, and the last sounds truly interesting but for some reason I thought it was back to Inistrad again.
Grumpy old me just misses the narrative and storytelling of the old sets and all the talk of Ravnica made me nostalgic and my stupid brain went, me get no story set, me mad, me angry!
I started mtg with Kamigawa all the amazing story, the fights the lore, this continued in Ravnica with the amazing guilds that made it easy and fun to play multiple colors. After that we got with Time Spiral a set that offered a glimpse into the past of MTG, which was really cool, and with Alara we got some 3-color support. And the gothic horror with Inistrad was just so cool. But with the Planeswalkers and rewriting of the lore I lost some interest and stopped for a while.
Every now and then I peek back in, play a round on Arena or Commander with friends.
I'm just nostalgic and hope for another set like Ravnica.
Thank you for sharing the info. Have a great time!
all i see is garbage
Same here that's all wizards shits out now a days
What specifically don't you like? If you're not wanting new things for the game, what are you looking for?
More mtg related content. With maybe once a year LOTR or lord of the rings. Don't like them straying so far from it's core. Bring back core sets! Or don't, actually that's what I'd like to see her replaced by a fallout. Also they are botching the remaster sets. First one was great. Then they think they can throw in a few fancy cards and expect the high price tag to be valid? Not gonna work.
@@attackoncardboard I want less sets a year better artwork not this garbage digital nonsense better card quality better foils make foils actually worth something get rid of all of these terrible variations of the same card no one wants and no one asked for get rid of universes that shit is disgusting and does not belong in magic get rid of all of the anime art cards in magic that stuff does not belong in this game. I want wizards to go back to making sets like they did 10 15 plus. Stop with all of the reprint and remastered sets they were good at first but then wizards ruined them. That's what I want.
@@everythingmetal9400 that's the other half of the stuff I meant to put but forgot.
More tournaments too. Bigger prizes.
I hope wizards completely flops this year and goes downhill. People already have their favorite cards and decks. Why keep producing more and more. It's disgusting
I hate Universes Beyond so much
None of it hypes me 😮😢 I think they screwed up by not continuing after march of the machines and such an important storyline... They moved away from that and the phyrexians way too quickly, what a waste! none of the sets appears to relate, it looks like they're getting their ideas from Smash up factions 😂😅 expect super heroes, ctulhu, princesses and disco dancers soon 🫣 Well not impressed!
Thunder Junction ends the Omenpath Arc and concludes the first act in the 3 years storyline 'Metronome'. So I'm hoping we get some decent closure by then (Thunder Junction). Otherwise these next bigger plot points need to be bangers.
I thought this was video games releasing..bro its mtg 😂😂 yikes they running out of ideas. Skipling everything til the end of the year set
The wokeness continues lol... so glad I quit this black money hole.
Wokeness? Explain.
Soon we'll have 12 garbage sets released a year.
What don't you like about the current sets that haven't even been previewed?
@attackoncardboard I'm looking forward to the 4 new original magic sets.
What I'm not happy with is Universes Beyond getting all the attention/power now. The release schedule is obscene. I used to keep up with previews and new releases. I gave up. I don't care anymore it's not fun.
Oooh keep crying because people are playing doctor who vs fallout decks :(
@@dough4prez well yoy might be unhappy but a ton of people are enjoying it. WOC doesn't make the game to your liking and won't miss you. Open your mind to the UB sets baby, they are here to stay. Waiting for Final Fantasy!
@simplyprism5854 I bet you're happy with these box prices, too, Timmy.
All these sets look lame
How so?
2 standard sets within the space of 1 month for Bloomburrow and Duskmourne? I doubt it
It's 3 months between sets. And we're getting 4 sets this year. We know MKM is Feb. So May for junction, Aug/Sept for Bloom and Nov/Dec for Dusk. The Tilde (~) generally stands for "about".
lol assassins creed, how fucking terrible
How is that terrible?
