Bold of you to assume Bandai wouldn't just make their own Gundam trading cards if they wanted those to exist
I can see it now.
Someone is going to do an extended art onto the framing of a Frameamajig for their favorite card
@Noctus Of course he isn't done with Magic, it's still fun
Hearing the Prof struggle with Japanese names is equal parts pain and sheer delight.
I think it was intentional cringe and I love it.
Not as annoying as his omission of the u in Paramount.
He pronounce anime right surprisingly. Yea, most anime fans/ weebs pronounce anime wrong because of how American accents work and how Japanese accents work. Vowels are non existent or short in Japanese hence the A, I, and E in Anime is pronounced(ah ne Mae) in Japanese, in English we pronounce it as (Ann knee May) because we use vowels as a reference in our language
BUT it's based off the English word animation so pronouncing anime how we do is correct for our language. It's all relative.
Lol no. That is just wrong. Vowels are just as important, if not more so, in Japanese as every phonetic sound in Japanese language has a vowel sound in it. They don't really have words with multiple consonant sounds combined. That is why the word anime is the way it is. Also, no native English speaker pronounces anime like "ann knee may". In fact, the Japanese pronunciation of anime actually does have the "knee" middle syllable, not the English pronunciation.
I'm just so tired, boss.

Amazing movie

I'm tired of people [WOTC] bein' ugly to each other
Now I'm sad again. MAN . . . . That movie f'd me up.
The delivery of "small indie company called, Disney" was perfect 😂
There was an old fantasy property from the 90s that was really unique with new characters set in a world called Dominaria, would love to see that in Magic.
Whoa... that sounds amazing!
Are you talking about Pokemon? ^^
Ooh that’s a deep cut
The bit at the start, 'remember From The Vault? Remember Duel Decks?', that right there hit me in my core, I LOVED those two product lines in particular. Elves VS Goblins, you'll always be alive in my heart.
Duel Decks are litterally my only exposure to paper Magic and there being not more Eldrazi stuff was really disappointing when I started to watch UA-cam videos about Magic.
One of the first MtG products I ever bought was Phyrexia vs. The Coalition. My friend and I saved lunch money for a while to split it
Elves vs Goblins is literally what got me into Magic😂
Elves vs Goblins was how I first played Magic with my brother when I was like 10.
Elves vs. Goblins basically became two of my commander decks, literally using Ezuri from the Elves deck as my mono-green commander. And From The Vault was the way better, way less greedy version of Secret Lair. Ok, maybe they could have done different art treatments, but I still loved those products
A Game of Thrones set could be wicked. Faceless Men could use a ninjitsu-esque mechanic. Targaryens with a mechanic for bonding each one to a dragon. White Walkers as reanimation faction. Return of snow lands and Starks who interact with them. Each of the castles as nonbasic lands.
For commander, maybe a dynasty system where you can have any number of commanders from a single dynasty but only one can be in play at once, so you might start the game with Aegon the Conquerer as your commander, then when he dies instead of resummoning him you instead switch to Maegor (you still add command tax) and then later you can switch to Daenerys.
I’m in for this
The universe I'd most love to see is Magic's own.
This
I just hit a point where I go “is it a medieval ish fantasy setting? Good enough for me.”
What a baby. You literally get sets every 3 months, grow up
Magic has been dead for a long time.

I'd love to see a FromSoftware line up
Thats what I been hoping for, it would be so perfect
That would be awesome !

I'm tired of these crossovers but this is actually something I'd be down for
All I heard was jolly cooperation.
I miss the three set blocks so much... 😢
Yes! It felt more suitable and like a story. And for me, they had a connection to my own memories, which is a big reason why I own magic cards. They're connected to my past.
Do you remember Dragon's Maze and Journey into Nyx?
I miss when Magic spent a year on one plane and put books in our Sealed packs. Old Magic felt like slowly savoring a three-course meal. New Magic feels like being served a burger that was put in a blender and turned into a vile smoothie.
@heArtGod80 yes but there will always be bad amongst the good not everything can be good
@@ObsidianKnight90 100% argue I miss the books alot
I predict the Magic community itself will be the next UB IP. Already looking forward to an overpowered Josh from CZ commander. And a Tolarian Community College land.

As a Monster Hunter fan id love to see some MH rep, theres a lot of locales(lands), creatures, characters, weapons, armour and items thatd translate really well into MTG
you know as I clicked on the video I said to myself "damn I'd love a Gundam Witch From Mercuary UB set, I'd definitely try and get a suletta mercury card if they printed one" as I literally looked at my suletta mercury figure next to me, and I'm glad the prof assured me it's a possibility
You know what could be really beatiful to see and yet something that would make fans basically faint? A Dark souls crossover
yes! ive been saying this for a while now. honestly any soulsborne game would be incredible, be it dark souls, bloodborne or elden ring. hell even sekiro would be great. or all of them together-----
man im getting myself all giddy over something that will never happen
Yes! This and Elden ring
A finger on the monkeys paw curls as dark souls is added, but every character is black and gay.

Always wanted to do a deck full of alters with Gwyn at the helm (full of thematic equipment/items from the games). If I had a lot of extra money to pay professional artists to alter them I'd have done this ages ago...
I think part of the reason Gundam is a likely franchise that you missed is that Bandai Namco, the licensing parent, has already crossed over with MtG with the Godzilla cards
I' LL BUY THEM ALL
I just find it funny he pronounced it onime.
@@lucarioman9097 in Japanese that's technically the correct pronunciation. ア is usually pronounced as ä in Japanese. It does sound weird in the mouth of a western speaker tho lmao
I would love to see that, but Gundam gets a Crossover with Battle Spirits this year. So unlikely :(
Godzilla is toho pictures not Bandai namco.
I’m thoroughly surprised that power rangers wasn’t considered knowing that Hasbro owns the IP now and honestly wouldn’t be that hard to make it as a secret lair
Hearing Prof say "Suletta Mercury" in an actual video is giving me life LMAO. (Huge fan of The Witch from Mercury here, can't wait for this show to continue ruining my life!)
My prediction is that there will be a Power Rangers UB product. Hasbro currently owns the Power Rangers IP, Power Rangers and Magic the Gathering are basically the same age (Super Sentai notwithstanding). Older stuff as nostalgia for older players and newer stuff for the younger players. It could easily use the Morph mechanic (which is both flavorful for the IP and is a fun mechanic).
I'm essentially expecting this too. The Mechtitan Core from Kamigawa Neon Dynasty reminded me of this sort of Power Rangers aesthetic and I'd think that WotC/Hasbro would ride that mechanic (or something similar like Meld) into the Lair should they choose it.
ever since kamigawa neon dynasty with the mechs its now inevitable for a power rangers UB in my eyes since if it was a secret lair the universe within could be from kamigawa
As a huge fan of both I would be so down for this.
A voltron Voltron would be a nice version if it was gonna happen at all
Glad I'm not the only one who thought "No Power Rangers mention?", that one seems far more likely than even MLP given all the renewed interest.
That whispered "...nothing" when you mentioned what you wanted from Universes Beyond made me laugh so hard I spilt soup out of my mouth!
They should pick berserk for secret lair. The art of Berserk is gorgeous.
Something I actually want to see.
The art is fantastic, but uhhhh… I don’t think the content of Berserk matches with WOTC’s target audience
There are so many good art pieces to choose from, and so many great characters
I can't describe how little I want any of this to happen.
It's frustrating to see them kill Magic slowly but surely. The best comparison is - shockingly enough - cancer. Well, I have enough Decks so that they can remain my own big MtG "Board Game" I guess. Or at some point people will start the format "Commander without Universes Beyond" etc. Who knows?
Mtg community is so sad. Rarely does a product get the amount of updates that mtg is seeing and all you neck beards can do is beg for it to be 2005. I'm sorry your game is loaded with content for people who aren't you. You people are sad and boring
@@markusaurelius83if anything it makes the game bigger since more people interested in this stuff are going to buy it
@@markusaurelius83How does it effect the gameplay? It's all just art on a card? Do you play the game while role playing? Does someone playing Ryu take you out of your immersion?
@@Chaogod1233 Gameplay is the most important aspect, but World Building/Aesthetics is a close 2nd for me. I'm not interested in Yugioh and other Card Games because of the World and Art alone.
Sorcery looks great though and I will play that (but only casually - it's not a tournament game).
I actually think that a monster hunter UB would be somewhat likely, soon even. Capcom let Wotz make the street fighter secret layer about a year before the release of SF6. With MH6 somewhere on the horizon for the next year or two I think there's a solid chance we'll get some cool monster on cardboard.
At least that'd be an ip that absolutely could fit in the magic universe
@@ss5gogetunks *cough* Ikoria *cough*
As far as UB products go, I'd be alright with Monster Hunter making it in. It could easily slot into the franchise without feeling too out of place. For a UB set that is.
If not Universes Beyond, the next time we go to Ikoria we'll almost certainly get MH skins like we got for Godzilla
I feel like Brandon Sanderson will have something eventually. He's a big writer and fan of magic. Also Brent Weeks made a card game in one of his books that was heavily inspired by magic so we could see something from him as well.
Prof revealing the newest mono-blue merfolk aura curse by uttering 'everypony' was a nice bonus to the spinfoil hat theorycrafting.
While I would love a Gundam secret lair I don’t know if it would happen as they have already collaborated with Battle Spirits. They have multiple Gundam series as different decks spanning the colors for that game and Battle Spirits is huge in Japan.
I would love to see Mortal Kombat and He-man, but since it's owned by mattel probably Gijoe makes a bigger chance.
I see HASBRO already has the masses indoctrinated to the retarded BS that's coming lol.
Hasbro & Mattel signed a MOU a couple weeks ago about doing more collaborations with each other's IP. I think a He-Man secret lair or bonus sheet is very possible!
Fuck yeah, Beyond needs Mortal Kombat. LOTS of characters, LOTS of special moves, LOTS of lore to make up a few filler cards. AND most importantly, it's all about the PVP format.
I’m already set for a skeletor commander
I would love to see how Magic takes on Mortal Kombat after having played it in the UniVersus card game.
I think Sailor Moon with double-faced transform cards would be pretty rad.
I would stab someone for this.
Well, we already have Anime versions of so many cards, I don't see a problem
Personally I wouldn’t mind an Elder Scrolls crossover in the same vein of what they’re doing with LOTR. Plenty of characters, lore, and artifacts to run an entire set. Plus having all the Daedric artifacts as Legendary artifact cards and collecting them all would be a dopamine rush or running Tiber Septim as my Commander
I would love to see an Elder Scrolls universe in Magic!
Thats one that would actually work
This is tricky. I’d love this - and I think the set would see a lot of traffic, there’s certainly plenty to go into it. The only issue is the IP. As it’s owned by Bethesda who in turn are owned my Microsoft who I doubt are going to collaborate unless they are promoting a new game - I think we are unlikely to see another game release in the near future for elder scrolls - perhaps when elder scrolls 6 comes out… one day 😂
@@serenity3277 Another important thing to know is that there already exists a digital card game based on the elder scrolls which's name is The Elder Scrolls: Legends
If a TLOZ secret lair would exist, I just want it to be an all link one. Hero of Time, Hero of Twilight, Hero of the Wilds and Hero of Winds, as the most well known iterations. Wolf link could definitely be a cool tovolar alt.
One of the most popular creature types to enter mtg has been Dinosaurs. I could definitely see a Jurassic Park secret lair along side a return to Ixalan or Ikoria.
Now that sounds super awesome😐
That was my thought too but idk who owns the ip
A draftable Final Fantasy set honestly sounds like the dream. I know they've announced FF, but not sure what kind of product it would be. But FF is one of those IPs that they could easily do a draft set... or three. Maybe I just want fantasy IPs to be the main thing we do with UB. LotR always made sense to me as a set we should get. Should be interesting as Final Fantasy already has TCG.
Confirmation. 2025 whole set
A Discworld set would be pretty neat. I kinda want to make a Sam Vimes Night Watch commander deck.
hell yes!
Omg it would be so fun ! Archmage commander!
Gosh! A Discworld set would be spectacular! I can already imagine what colors or abilities lots of the characters / artifacts / other would be!
An exclusive to the set color Octarine?
Yes
it fills me with great joy to hear the Prof speak of Gundam =^)
Great video, Prof! I think Marvel and Star Wars may still be a possibility since Hasbro does have the rights to produce merchandise for both of the properties. One of their most successful merchandise lines are their action figure lines for both Marvel and Star Wars. The bigger issue I'd say is that both Marvel and Star Wars don't fit thematically with Magic: The Gathering, but I guess anything is possible with Universes Beyond.
The last time I checked, Asmodee (owners of Fantasy Flight) owns exclusive rights to make Star Wars board and card games.
I met a guy once who I think could hook you up with a custom Star Trek uniform! He lives on a station out in deep space and makes his living as a simple tailor, but his work is exemplary and he has great conversation skills!
I need the Mane 6 cycle of Friendship is Magic to be finished so I can finally finish my Princess Twilight Sparkle deck!
Same. They could even do the other princesses too and I'd buy them all
Bandai owning a lot of rights to gundam and having their own card games probably means all Bandai property is off limits. I'd expect more Capcom, Square Enix, and maybe even a From Software crossover for the Souls games.
I'd love to see a Mega Man bonus sheet in the next artifact based set.
For a pure dark souls 1 experience, only red, black and white cards are made. And everything related to Seath is colourless.
@@f.g.5967 What?! Sseth obviously has Blue in it!!!
Battle Spirits in JP actually has Gundam cards and even has playmats with Gundam art as rewards for their Battle Spirits events. So Gundam is definitely really slim in terms of chances.
Doubt any souls or anything fromsoft will be making an appearance because it’s not popular in the west as we all like to think. Most sales for fromsoft games are based in Japan. Unless there’s a market for magic that is very significant in Japan there isn’t really any interest in trying to make a semi popular game like dark souls or elden ring to be a box set or something.
I would love to see a Gundam Secret Lair, honestly, I have a Gundam Shorikai Alter, but I feel like after we just got Transformers pretty recently we won't see giant robots for awhile. But I hope I'm wrong!
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but given that he was a member of the same writing group as Tolkien, I feel like it would be a good idea to include The Chronicles of Narnia, maybe even the sci-fi works of C. S. Lewis. Even if you stay strictly within Narnia, you have Aslan with his God-like powers and prophecy, the variety of humans who can add something from each book and, of course, the Witch and her army, Terrible Word of Power and her magic/temptations. Either way, I feel like it would be appropriate to give players a chance to have Gandalf and Aslan work together against Saron and the Witch.
Final Fantasy has a Card Game, but it was confirmed that we would see an Universes beyond! I can't wait to see what we get.
Ditto for lord of the rings
Both of their attempts at CCGs involved rules sets that were FAR too complicated for the larger western audience to pick up, considering the first attempt was back in the early 2000s, when MTG wasn't yet as complicated.
@@InDzienInTampa The most recent FF TCG was pretty simple and did get an English release
man spent a whole episode making me feel old

I could see them doing Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korea. They could do one commander deck for each element and a 5th for the Avatar. They could also use the different colour parings to represent different sub-bending styles.
Another option would be to do Power Rangers since Hasbro now owns them, but it would be hard since there are so many teams/seasons to choose from and not everyone will know the different teams (older fans will remember the Saban era teams, late 2000s fans the Disney era teams, and current/younger fans the Neo-Saban and Hasbro era teams). I know they did a card game during Power Rangers Megaforce as a tie in for the card gimmick in the season and the card that came with the toys (for use in the morpher) so they had a use outside the toys and could make cards for legacy teams. But they could still since they did it for Transformers after their tcg got canned (Summer 2018 - Summer 2020) and would be able to include the teams since Megaforce as well along with the other teams. Probably would have to do it like Transformers and do secret lairs (Characters as creatures, weapons and vehicles as artifacts, and zords and megazords as artifact creatures. Could do something special for Ranger power-up forms and teams with multi-combination megazords and different megazords)
Legend of Korea XD

Did you know half of zoomers are in there 20s?

I remember when Star Wars and Star Trek both had CCGs made by the same game studio, Decipher. Both games played vastly different.
And I remember when Decipher had to discontinue the Star Wars CCG because they lost the license to … Hasbro. Huh.
@@ConManAU to be fair, the game was a rules nightmare by that point. There were like 30 card types, insane power creep, bizzare chaff cards, nonsensical mechanics - but I'll always love a game where you can smash an ewok in the death star trash compactor. . .
Decipher also made a Lord of the Rings game.
Never played the Star Wars one, but had a lot of fun with the Star Trek CCG. Favorite deck was Romulan with the only personnel being a bunch of copies of Galathon
Gundam is significantly connected with Bandai, who produces Battle Spirits Saga, and that game is even getting Gundam promo cards. Thus, the odds of it showing up in Magic is unlikely, at least for now.
Game is a lot of fun too and very affordable. People are doing a disservice to themselves not checking it out.
There are also several Gundam arcade machines that use collectable cards to play the games if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if it counts as a TCG in the classic sense but it's very similar nonetheless. The problem is indeed that Bandai pretty much owns Gundam and is such a big company that they have the ability to produce such things on their own.
A Gundam crossover could be nice but I think something like Evangelion is a tad more likely.
Final Fantasy has its own card game but we know for a fact that the Final Fantasy UB is coming next year.

One that I would absolutely LOVE to see is a Cosmere set of some kind. Brandon Sanderson has already written a free Magic the Gathering novella and he’s a huge fan in general (he appeared on Game Knights) but there is SO much that could be done. Each series within the Cosmere could be it’s own set with Mistborn, Stormlight Archive, Warbreaker, and so much more!
I think mistborn and stormlight are the only two big enough to get their own sets at the moment. I don't think Elantris or Warbreaker have quite the pedigree wotc wants- especially when some of the biggest hits you'd expect from warbreaker- Vasher, Vivenna, Nightblood- could all be done in a stormlight set. man i sure would love a gundam secret lair. Witch from Mercury is insanely good and popular, and i'm a long time fan. plus, i like vehicles so the more the merrier
MtG should do a Passion of the Christ secret lair deck. Wins by Insurrection and act of treason effects with sacrifice theme. It would be fitting but might make some people a bit cross... 😂
Dc commander decks I see possible.
Justice league - legendary/hero tribal
Bat family - ninjutsu hero equipment
Rogues gallery - villain tribal with lex, joker, or grodd as commander options
Mystic defenders - Planeswalker or spellslinger deck. Built around Zatana, fate, or raven
Maybe a 5th one built around a super villain as well
One word: Malazan. It would be perfect - there are no visual media that have covered it in the past, so the artists would be mostly free to do their thing without everyone becoming obsessive. There are close to 30 books to pull from, and it's still dark fantasy, so it fits Magic far better than Scifi.
I'm reading Gardens of the Moon, my first foray into this world and I could definitely see cool things (please no spoilers I'm only like 200 pages in haha)
I would love to see stuff from Capcom like a Monster Hunter set would be so amazing to me lol
Oohhhh or an MK commander deck set with like Scorpion,Sub Zero,Mileena, and Kitana, as commanders
That's just ikoria
@@iNCoMpeTeNtplAyS ikoria but better lol
MH would be sick
Honestly though it should have been monster hunter monsters as the alt cards for ikoria because having a savage deviljho as a commander would be sick
I think that if Disney would allow, an "Alien Vs Predator" expansion could be fun (most people would say that they would agree, but both individually, but thing is, I don't think that the number of cards wouldn't be so high). You would have 3 types of creatures: Humans, Xenomorphs and Predators. You could still maintain the battles/invasion mechanics, and create a new one for the facehuggers, or, it also could easily be an instant like: kill target creature this turn, in the next player's turn, it will become a token xenomorph. Actually, a Commander Deck with an Alien Queen could be a fun token spawner of "basic xenomorphs"
I feel like The Elder Scrolls has to be up there, right? The setting and lore is enough to encompass several full-scale sets, but the deep lore is pretty niche and obscure. I could see a Morrowind or Skyrim-themed set, but a commander release with whatever the main factions within TESVI will be feels more likely as a marketing move, with secret lairs featuring fan-favorite stuff they miss from the older titles.
Power rangers is currently a hasbro IP. I would actually love to see them
And both Power Rangers and Magic are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. It would make perfect sense.
I would love for them to do more 40k Factions (orks, Eldar ect..)
Same!
Wizards should make a Sasame Street Secret Lair that feature Modern staples. Elmo can be Ragavan, Oscar the Grouch can be Hogaak, Cookie Monster can be Murktide Regent, and Mr. Robinson can be Teferi, Time Raveler.
I know it already exists with Hearthstone, and Blizzard is highly unlikely to grant their IP to a competitor, but I have wanted Warcraft in MtG for 10 years. A set of commander decks, one for the Alliance, one for the Horde, and maybe two others (burning legion with Sargeras as the face / and one for the scourge with the Lich King as the face) would have made my life complete.
He-Man would probably work very well. Hence it had some new series’s and could use some great PR with a magic set.
It's a good fit thematically, but Mattel is Hasbro's Historic rival, so it's difficult to imagine this would really be possible.
Also, even tho it could be a little mess of rights, they could shoe-in She-Ra.
Especially making one commander deck of old shera and another of the modern show (or simply make it different art)
If there's a star trek secret lair I would want vulcans to have the creature type elf because in almost every way Vulcans are elves.
bless yer heart
Vulcans: Space Elves
Romulans: Dark Space Elves
Klingons: Space Orcs
Kelpians: Space Merfolk
Borg: Space Zombies
Gorn: Space Dinosaurs
Catians/Ferasans: Space Cats
Q: Space Gods
Dominion: Space Changelings/Shapeshifters
@@MGmirkin when you get out of 7th grade, go watch some Trek.
Welp, this aged like fine milk. MtG x Marvel is coming...
Well... Disney threw a curveball...
I just hope for Voltron one day so i can make a real Voltron commander
Funnily enough I was just discussing with a friend if Goron, Gerudo's, Hylians, Zonai and Sheikah would get their own creature type or not in a Legend of Zelda set in the possible future.
after the 40k UB im not sure id want that. Knowing tribal Tyranid will never get more cards is kinda disheartening
They’d all easily fit into existing creature types, which prevents the aforementioned Tyranid problem.
@@8bitadventures How so? Goron and Gerudo are their own race, you can't use another label for them without it feeling like a stretch. Consider that Azra and Tiefling are two different subtypes, for example.
@@drakegrandx5914 Gorons are just Zelda’s giants, just as Zora are merfolk. Gerudo and Sheikah are humans. Hylians are some combination of human and elf. Deku Scrubs and koroks are plants. Rito are birds.
If Azra was a subtype that was actually used outside of a single product, there’d be more of a case for that. To support my argument: Dragonborn are dragons.
@Bruno Caruso Gorons do have a lot of parallels to dwarves, but adults range from ogre-sized to mountain-sized. Zelda could have different versions like Aragon and Gandalf, with one version having some combination of Human, Elf, Noble, and Wizard, and another as some combination of Human, Elf, and Avatar.
I think a really cool Marvel Secret Lair would be the Marvel Horror characters - Blade, Dracula, Black Knight, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Morbius, the list goes on. The old school Marvel horror was dark, and a perfect for for MTG, whereas it's TOO dark for Lorcana. Another Secret Lair I would love to see is The Witcher. I know Gwent already exists in The Witcher 3 and the standalone Gwent game, but they really missed an opportunity by not printing more of the Gwent decks.
I love how he suspects gundam and it would have been a great addition to kamigawa that's why they made gundam tokens for mechtitan/ pilot
I want to see an Iron Maiden secret Lair Zombie set featuring popular zombie themed cards with Maidens mascot Eddie.
Love this idea! You could have the band members get cards, as well. Maybe even some of their more iconic songs like the Trooper a 1/1 with flash, haste, and deathtouch, Blood Brothers an anthem effect for warriors and soldiers, or dare I say a Charlotte the Harlot, sacrifice to pump up another creature maybe with a graveyard recursion clause to bring her back for more.
Shuffle Up the Irons and play! For anyone thinking what they can do with Eddie, please see the Legacy of the Beast.
Im surprised the Castlevania games haven’t been tapped into for Secret Lairs, given the diverse array of unique characters and iconic designs.
well, there was that sorin that's pretty much an Alucard hahaha
The company that owns them is legenderily nightmarish to work with, the show existing and being good was kind of a miracle.
That's because Konami is shit
@@sc149 Said company being Konami, who produced Yugioh.
Castlevania would be amazing. Sadly I doubt it would happen. Castlevania is owned by Konami. And Konami publishes Yugioh. So their might be a conflict of interest.
Wow I loved all of these suggestions! Now I REALLY want a Gundam Secret Lair and Batman and Joker commander decks 😅
a trigger secret lair would be one of the most insane things they could do for an anime crossover XD
Would love to see a Dune Universes Beyond. It is the Middle Earth of SciFi.
I really would love an always sunny crossover.
Danny devito , who brings out the sun
Nice try Dee, but you didn't think of the smell!
that would be a 5 star set
@@iNCoMpeTeNtplAyS "so anyway i started casting"
Legendary Creature - Golden God
I agree with Gundam being logical for universes beyond. There are a lot of ways they could take it. They could do something like halvar by having the gundam on one side and it weapon on the other, they could also do like transformers with a vehicle side and creature side by having the gundam as the vehicle and pilot as the creature, and then there are how they do the gundams.
Example:
The F91 gundam they can give it a +1 -1 as a nod to the metal peel off effect, myriad as a nod to the after images with mass created by the metal peel off effect, and trample as a nod to the piercing power of the F91's variable speed beam rifles (VSBRs).
For Unicorn gundam they could give it an abilty similar to forgestoker dragon's pay 1R to ping a creature and stop it from blocking as a nod to unicorn disable mobile suits near the end with its power. Then they could give it a buff ability, voltron ability, or level up ability to show its change in weaponry over time.
Burning gundam could have myriad as a nod to its ability to make temporary copies of itself, and it could have an ability similar to flameblast dragons pay XR to deal X damage as a nod to the erupting burning finger.
Barbatos could be voltron focused or level up as a nod to its changes in weapons and armor as the story progressed.
Gundam 00 could have menace as a nod to how hard it is to hit while in trans am or double strike as a nod to it mainly dual wielding, and it could also get a small circumstantial buff during combat. They could also have abilities that trigger upon damaging an opponent like what is seen on swords that are already in the game. Heck they could reprint the swords with gundam weapon art
They could even do mass produced units like the Dom which they could give myriad as a nod to the jetstream attack, or do quebely and give it something like rampage or bushido to represent the funnels.
The Union Flag they could give bushido since the ace pilot for it Graham Aker actually was involved with bushido to a significant enough point to be called Mister Bushido.
They also wouldn't be limited to just mobile suits because they could take important battles in the gundam universe and turn them into battle cards. I mean imagine a legendary vehicle or creature that was played as a battle first. If they did gundam themed battles I honestly would hope for one regarding Gryps Two and one regarding the attempted drop of Axis on the Earth. They could also reprint a spell for having creatures fight and have it be the scene where Char uses his mobile suit to kick Amuro while Amuro is in the RX-78-2 Gundam. There are also the ships that are featured in the different series that could be vehicles themselves.
Like I said there are a lot of possibilities and those possibilities can take advantage of both new and old abilities.
edit: Mobile suits that get a secondary form due to upgrades like the Ariel and Gundam X as well as transforming mobile suits would also work as transforming cards on their own so you wouldn't necessarily need a pilot or weapon for the other side for it to be a card that flips.
BTW: I like your Star Trek shirt! The shade of blue is like original color, but the silky shine is a step into the future.
