I know it sounds weird but the story of Zahir r.a. and prophet Muhammad pbuh brought tears in my eyes
As we're progressing with the series we're getting to see a different side of him and qualities which we should adopt.
Knowing when to stop and what not to joke about is a major lesson, people often keep it within themselves when a joke feels bad and it eats them up on the inside.
May Allah grant us all wisdom and the ability to know what these limits should be, and adopt more qualities of the Prophet S.A.W.!

“There is no Muslim who says three time, when morning comes and when evening comes, ‘Radeetu Billahi rabban wa bi Islami deenan wa bi Muhammadin sall-Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallama nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet),’ but it will be incumbent upon Allah to make him content on the Day of Resurrection.”

I read in the book of the life of the Sahabah, that the Prophet addressed a companion as "O you two-eared man" and that was the funniest thing to me. Subhan'Allah he was truthful even in his jokes
*MEETING MUHAMMAD ﷺ EPISODE NOTES:*
When He ﷺ joked with you.
He ﷺ joked but he only spoke the truth
He ﷺ brought joy into his house.
He ﷺ bonds or relates with us through his jokes and makes the connection more authentic.
He ﷺ diffuses tense situations.
He ﷺ conveyed a concept through his jokes.
His ﷺ jokes showed you that He was paying attention towards you.
The Prophet ﷺ would say jokes that would honour people not humiliate people.

This is such valuable food for thought. Jokes in some cultures are almost always made at the expense of another person and boundaries are crossed that cause actual harm. It is a travesty of our time. May the example of Rasul (ﷺ) shine far and wide and may we all take ourselves to account and ensure that we do not seek to laugh and make others laugh by belittling anyone else. Allah humma Ameen.

I might have said these words in the same way when my son used to throw his tantrums spinning around in the yard.
This series answers to one of my duahs to get to know our beloved Prophet (SAW) better in all of his roles and capacities - as Nabi, our our leader, imaaam, as a commander in chief, as husband, father, friend, community leader, mentor, advisor, friend, care-taker, consummate politician, peace- maker, ......
(SAW) . So many roles performed by this one person with so much efficiency, with grace, and love and compassion. May Almighty Allah cover him with His mercy.
