The part of the khutbah 'If you wake up with a roof above your head and food to eat for the day and good health then it's as if you own the world. You're a king ' really struck me hard. How much ungrateful we are that we neglect such huge blessings and focus on things that we don't have. May Allah save us from being ungrateful and from being like how Bani israeel was. Ameen

Allāhumma mā aṣbaha bī min ni`matin aw bi aḥadin min khalqik, fa minka waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, falaka ‘l-ḥamdu wa lakash-shukr.

اَلّلهُمَّ أنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا اِلهَ اِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ اَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ ذُنُوْبِىْ فَإِنَّه لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إلَّا أَنْتَ
“O Allah, you are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me. And I am your servant. And I stand by your covenant and promise. I seek refuge in You, according to my power, from my iniquities. And I confess your blessings and confess my sins. So forgive me my sins. Verily, no one forgives sins except You.”

Doing things he didn't tell us to do, such as? Specifically which ones are most offensive? ppl judge ppl all the time, can be mean, condescending, it happens amongst religious muslims all the time, so responding by doing things were not supposed to do? There's a certain level of things ppl habitually do that are considered human or normal! Still a good mssg. And yes I'm introspective!
