The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third person galaxy-spanning action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively-driven, single player title picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness.

I love the look of the saber it’s just to slow
Agreed I used it for the first play through it is slow but it's really good at defence and counters just depends on if your in the mood for that sorta gameplay
You just can’t spam and have to think instead it’s not for everybody
It should have some more animations for sure
It's a very rewarding stance. if your timing is great and you have patience it makes for probably the best out of all of the stances.
@@beni2cc yeah it’s sick I’m not arguing about that I just personally don’t like how slow it is and I’ve finished the game and got the plat on grandmaster.
i wish you could have cross guard on with the shorter blade length for regular stance.

Cross guard is criminally underrated, as I understand it it’s the least favorite out of all stances but I honestly think that’s because it’s the only one that actually requires you to think your moves through and time them right, the only one who actually requires a certain level of skill instead of just mindlessly swinging around and spam the square button like the others, and once you get used to the long ass wind ups it’s incredibly broken, combined with certain perks it pretty much one shots everything, high risk high reward combat at its finest and that’s why I dig it.

I LOVED it, I was pretty much cross+blaster for the second half of the game.
Easily my favorite saber stance, just wish it was slightly faster.
You know you can incorporate jumping/jump attacks and if you have it dash moves. Also force push and lift are good

Crossguard stance has gotta be the wo st stance for a jedi, the jedi are literally supposed to be agile, this just makes the jefi with this stance an oxymoron.

how is the monster punching a lightsaber and not slicing through its hands? it has Beskar hands? this is the dumb immersion breaking thing about this game... It took its whole identity of gameplay from the games by Fromsoftware like darksouls and Sekiro.. The gameplay is janky, the combat is janky and the characters movement looks silly... I hated and couldn't play Fallen order and I wanted to like it so bad... it's a shame that these new age star wars fans are the reason star wars is in shambles

@@MJ-420. it can be played fast if you’re good. The jump attack is fast and starts chain attacks if you continue pressing the button. There are many combo suites you can do.
