I like that Cal's fighting style is unconventional and isn't what we expect to see from a Jedi. It makes sense too that his fighting style's a bit more unorthodox and quite frankly, more violent since he was only ever officially trained up to the Padawan level. With no Order around to teach him "the proper" way to fight he had to teach himself, which would also give a canon explanation as to why he's so skilled in multiple stances when most Jedi we've seen only fight with one stance.
Damn good point. That would also explain why he’s so susceptible to turning to the dark side. He wasn’t around the order long enough for them to help him build resistance to it

Jedi are being trained in all forms of lightsaber fight but tend to choose one over others based on their demands at some point like Obi-Wan did after Que-Gon's death, switching to Soresu from Ataru. There is now way where Castis is more skilled in saber fight than trained Jedi Knight. Especially if one has survived through The Clone Wars
What is also interesting is that in all the cutscenes Cal doesn’t do a super special fancy pose when he ignites his lightsaber. Cal doesn’t see combat as an art form but a way to survive. The way he fights is very grounded and practical which lends a very cool layer of character outside of dialogue or cutscenes.
He's emulating his master Jaro (who he's been with since the beginning of the 3 year conflict that was the clone wars) and Cere did complete his training before they split up between JFO and JS.
Who do think could've taught him dual wielding (cere completed that training), and the saber staff (Jaro) or the form 2 fencing style?

The reason the enemies respawn after you rest is because most of the takedowns are stabs which gives you about a 80% chance of survival

Honestly cal fights more like a sith than a jedi
By the end of the game it is established he is no longer a Jedi. He is now just a guy trying to survive.

After completing the game, I see Cal as a Grey. Not a Jedi or a Sith. Even his master told him "Trust only on the Force"

Hard to believe that Disney approved of this sick moves ;-) However one of the things I both loved AND hated the most is missing: Bode placing a detonator on the chest of his enemy and setting it of by a close range blaster shot (that should have been the real finisher for Dagan). I miss the happy whisteld Imperial March by BD-1 SO much while hacking other droids :-(
The developers should patch finishers to execute more successfully, more often, and with more variety.
Most of the time the finisher icon appears it does not successfully follow through and Cal will just perform a regular attack. I've tried playing with the timing and it's honestly 50/50.
I also have not seen half of these finishers in game which makes me think something is wrong with the chance of certain finishers activating.
Seeing some of these animations makes it feel like I’ve never even played the game before and I have like 140 hours 😭

How do I do the collaborative executions? Dx
I don't know the clear answer. But I usually attack with a low-damage stance such as Single, Double-Blade, or Blaster. then hit the enemy until low HP. And be careful of your continued attacks and your teammates. that may kill the enemy before doing execution animation 😉

Can anybody tell me how to do this takedown ? I’m trying to do this but I can’t help killing them in the regular way
Attack or parry enemies until the white bar is empty. Then a circle icon will appear on the enemy. You can Takedown right away 😎 (Including destroying enemy shields)
