Mordecai and Rigby are very good at most things outside of work in the show but they really are the laziest mfs ever for such a simple job. I work a labor job rn and it’s funny cuz they act like some of my coworker’s 😭😭😭
Benson definitely deserved better. He had a lot of girlfriends who dumped him and I know his old past(being a drummer, probably partying all the time and maybe even using some dr*gs in his past.) probably caused the breakups but in show, he seems to change and try enough to keep relationships and make things lead nice. I kinda think Audrey and Benson had a argument about that iron stomach dude and had a breakup which maybe ended with Benson seeing Audrey with iron stomach dude, that caused him to wanna cover a scar so ignore the red flags in Natalie(Natalia). Benson tried his best and more than his best for Pam, like, he sneaked in a scientist base just for bringing Pam CHICKEN WINGS and promised to do it EVERY DAY(keep in mind he's a busy and extremely tired person, almost all the time.) He gave out advices to Mordecai and Muscle Man to help their relationships. He knew what could be a love sign and would make someone happy. He did mistakes in his love life but probably never broke anyone's heart.(he knows what heartbreaking and pain feels like, considering his family life too.) He wasn't a bad person, it doesn't mean he's a bad guy if he did some bad things.(if it worked that way, Mordecai and Rigby were even worse.) So, Benson deserved a stable relationship which makes him happy, not leave him with heartbreak and will see his good sides other than his stressed personality.
The ups and downs Benson faced added to his character development imo. Dont think he learned from the last, but has grown overall. When he was single, he was loose and relaxed. But when he was dating, he was short tempered about everything, even if nobody was jokin or askin him about his love life. He was just more snippy
I know Benson is portrayed as a hot head and even gets extreme at times, but it's not exactly hard to see why when others keep screwing him over when he's actually a pretty good boss.
I know everyone is saying it, but as you get older, you really start to understand Benson as a character as you gain more responsibilities for yourself during life. I’m glad I’m able to appreciate Benson a lot more now.

I kinda get tired of seeing the “we understood this guy more as we grew up” thing or calling him Squidward. As a kid I understood Benson from the start and unlike Squidward it’s not very subtle at all which makes me think that wasn’t the direction they were going for. I refuse to believe everyone thought Benson was a legitimate jerk like it’s gotta be the Mandela effect at play or something. Especially for example how obnoxious Rigby could be in the earlier seasons it’s just one of the many aspects that are so painfully in your face that Benson was just trying to do his job and never actually a bad person.
I swear, for some reason, people love to admit they didn’t understand Benson’s position on any restrospective video. Like, was responsibility so far beyond some of y’all as children that you couldn’t conceive that when someone’s in charge they at least have to make sure some stuff is done? I can definitely understand Benson and 100% respect him a whole lot more as opposed to back then. As for the question at the end I would say Pam because while watching this video and seeing the numerous red flags that Audrey was given off as opposed to Pam I would literally say that she deserves Benson as opposed to Audrey who invites their ex to their party while trying to get to know someone? 🤨
Well, I take this as a sign the series on Mordecai's relationship arc has officially been scrapped. It's a shame since I loved that series but I recognize it was also a big commitment. Anyway, glad to see you're still covering Regular Show.
I get the feeling the Benson / Audrey thing was just an "aborted arc" kinda thing. They already had a sad sack in Mordecai. They didn't need Benson being depressed and lovelorn, too. And because the J.G. Quintel and his team were the way they were, they turned it into a tongue-in-cheek reference for the audience to laugh about. _I'm not laughing._
I don't know if it was on this channel or not, but I recall having a bad take on Benson regarding the ultimeatum episode. I completely misremembered what happened and made Benson out to be a bro when he was being a jerk. I still relate to Benson and think he was justified in the episode simply due to the habits of Mordecai and Rigby in the episode and show at large.

He barely posts
Years later you finally did another Regular Show vid.
18:29 looking at this, I realized I do not like the look of Mordecai's kids. lol
I'm glad Benson got a W in the end.
Happy Valentine’s Day alpha Jay show but also not to mention this guy got to pick up some Riz classes not to an extreme that Mordecai needs
Lmao yes
@@TheAlphaJayShow lmao yes for sure
Love your video and I agree with it his love life was all over the place
16:06 And this is where I had the biggest side glance ever because I like hot wings with ranch dressing.
I had to click this video to real quick say Benson's love life is nothing compared to Mordecai
As a short tempered person, I feel Benson pain I love Benson so much he's my favorite character poor Benson :(
I love it although you don’t see any of the gumballs moving around you can hear them rattling around in his head.
Hey im a new subscriber to ya but im so happy to be here, i recently watched your gymnastics ultimate iceberg and i love your skull bear guy, i wanna see him back again soon!
When you got mordecai making all the worst moves in the series it clouds everyone else’s relationships😂😂
I'll never forget Benson...
Despite how he's depicted in the show, he's genuinely one of the nicest people in the franchise. Any other boss would've fired mortakai and rigby long ago
Happy Valentine’s Day Alpha Jay Show! & hello Benson, we miss ya
You know when I was a kid I used to hate Benson a little bit but now that I'm older and like 22 years old now. 🤨
7:13 I was literally just mining Tungsten in Once Human as you said this
"It's not you It's math" is legit the most unironically reasonable breakup😂I've seen on TV
I am figuratively Benson.
“The F.E.?” 🤨😑
That shit still cracks me up all these years later
Well, I take this as a sign the series on Mordecai's relationship arc has officially been scrapped. It's a shame since I loved that series but I recognize it was also a big commitment. Anyway, glad to see you're still covering Regular Show.
Sad thing is, his theory about their breakup makes total sense based off my own dating experience. Damn.
Maybe Audrey had serious commitment issues, which is why the, we aren't calling it a date line was put in.
Benson's love life is what Mordecai's love life should have been
7:46 how was benson not choking while unconscious
Cartoon logic, I geuss. I kind of cringed watching it because this would have probably killed him in real life.
