Love the Quo great memories of the 90s at the Nec jumping up and down shattered the next morning with my dear Mum who sadly passed away in 2009 best rock and roll band .
Sounding that slick they should go straight into the studio and make a final album. I appreciate there’s no money in it but it would make a lot of us fans very happy one last time. 🎸
Yup .... despite the "nay sayers", the band were in fantastic form c. 18 months ago when they came through Aberdeen ... loads of energy, playing great, excellent set list ... (Rain was just stellar) ... Francis also had sense to let others take over singing duties for certain songs ... meaning loads of opportunities for some snappy guitar work ... I've seen them several times and the most recent was excellent .... also saw Francis late last year doing his interview / chat / play gig and it was great ... going again next May when he comes back to town .... CMcG, Aberdeen, Scotland
Thank you, Status Quo! You are my number one forever. The tour is over, but I believe you will continue your music. So I won't say goodbye. I love you so much!
I'm saddened but it is inevitable. I've followed them since Matchstick men aged 15. Thank you Francis, a prayer for Ricky(who is rocking it up in the sky), and Alan. John you were one of the great drummers, and all that have followed in their collective footsteps. Life is a little sadder now
Really can,t believe this is it... History will never will be repeated or equalled. Truly one of our best rock and roll LIVE bands ever. Entertaining, happy, proper musicians and I really hope you have seen them live. Francis, Rick, Rhino, John, Andy, Alan, Richie and Jeff. I may have missed a couple but even if not named, they have been part of one of the best, if not THE best rock and roll bands to be hailing from Great Britain... I can play their stuff always but as a live band... ? Unbeatable, top notch and one of the best... EVER.... Luvsya guys...
Love the Quo my favourite band thanks for the nights at the NEC in Birmingham in the 90s .Hard to say Goodbye to a great band but I've had my photo taken with Rick and Francis to x
I am went to QUO since 1978. I did the last time 26.July in Ludwigsburg/ Germany. I still get goose bumbs when I see / hear them....However, I can understand Francis decides to stop. I and lot of us had decades of fun, but as they stated ones...." beginning of the end.." ....
A went to see them Halifax piece hall posted some footage my channel, your vidio superb quality, the show was amazing, hope they do another tour,a recken a official farewell tour next year, why not ❤
Ive been to Quo gigs since 1978... Averaging 6 gigs per tour I missed this year due to work commitments and ill health. Gutted is an understatement. I do have a few tickets for the tunes n chats gigs in 2025. I dont think its going to scratch the itch.
@Iainrankingtheobscure I would say that the fact that they're still selling out shows 40 years later would make that incorrect, the frantic four tour was successful for nostalgic purposes but they went straight back into their regular shows with great ease
Andy will be 80 years old in 2026, John 74 and Francis 76. Can't see Andy touring at 80, and Francis is more focused on his solo tours. Status Quo have not split up, but will continue to exist in name only.
@@FrozenHero2010 you are right but Rhino says he'd be up for one more, Francis will keep himself fit (God willing his health), Andy could be replaced, like it or not. Paul Hirsch comes to mind, he did it once so why not and I'm sure Andy still gets a good paycheck. Francis is stubborn but he is also Quo and Quo is a huge part of his life so a change of mind after a few months off would not be a shock.
@@hgn2321 Rhino will rock til he drops! He's got some RR gigs this autumn to keep him busy. IMO Francis doesn't want to do a full blown Quo tour anymore. He's living the "easy" life touring solo - he gets to sit down for the whole show and there's less work involved. I'll be seeing him next April (Spring yes, Summer no and not Wednesday).
I hope that after his next year 'Tune and chat tour' Francis will decide the Quo need to go out with a band and that thay will perform 'Quo's last ever' at Wembley stadium sometime in summer 2025. 65 years after Rossi and Parfitt deciding to be partners. Would be great !
I saw Francis on his his acoustic tour, he said with his age the Quo gigs are too physically demanding now, he'll do acoustic solo shows for another few years
Just a fantastic rock band. They’ve served us well. Thanks Francis.
I had the pleasure of seeing the original frantic four. What a band and what a great night I had.
Will you please farewell the no.1 rock'n'roll band in the world... the magnificent STATUS QUO!!!! Thanks for so much over the years. 🎸🎸
Agreed

I have been a fan since 1969 . Brilliant band .
Wonderful to see that you've been a Fan for so long. Well done you.
1967 for me, so started with 'Matchstick Men' ..... still love that one
1980 for me
Me also.
I was born in 1969... I waited until 1978 for my first Quo gig.
Best gigs I've ever been too, such joy ❤❤

Yes I saw them loads of times at the NEC in the late 80s and throughout the 90s as well. Great gigs throughout.

Please please quo never ends....i love them 50 years
Was in Chemnitz and Leipzig. Somehow I am pissed off they never played Burning Bridges in Germany. But I'm very gratefull for every show I have seen.
If that is indeed it then they really did go out at the top of their game

He'll be back.
Was at Halifax, what a great show, were the alarm support act.
Not so much The Alarm just Mike Peters using the name.
@@ESCORT741 same at halifax.

still brilliant
Yeah, right, I went to their farewell concert in 1984.... Give it 6 months...
I didn't go to the Milton Keynes farewell gig but I saw them at Trentham Gardens. My first Quo gig at 13 years old.
And the crowd knew every word - Just the way it should be.
Even to this pile of dung

RIP RICK AND ALAN
Should have had the farewell at the O2 in London.
I could be wrong here, but have I heard that Francis is prepared to do one LAST Tour??????
I think that come next year he'll want to do a few shows but not go touring
Bless Richie at the end milking the last moment of the last Quo gig 😢
And bless Rhino at 71 and Andy at 78. I wish them both a happy retirement.....…..Or are they? .
Thanks for the happy times.

55 years on this planet and I have never heard of them. I didn't miss anything. Not my style.
Never mind we all have a cross to bear
