Richie is the choice of the band including Rick Parfitt, let's rock to that! 🤘 Quo had som much more energy when he entered and it shows and we can all hear it..! 🥰
Well, hopefully, Richie will record some stuff in the quo downtime or end time. I'd like to think he would make some money from it, but I appreciate it's not easy being a musician.
Rick is irreplaceable, of course, but Richie brings such a different and cool energy to the band it's untrue. He's the best rhythm guitarist out there at the moment in my opinion. A true legend on his own right!
Might want to check the meaning of legend. Here we have just another guy playing in a cover band butchering the guitar parts of a true legend in Rick Parfitt.
@@jjjddd231 You must not play the guitar then. Check out some videos of his playing, he's really tight and his rhythm is always spot on. I couldn't do what Richie does, you couldn't do what Richie does and no fake "Rick Parfitts" from any Quo cover band in the world could play up to Richie's standards. Besides, he was personally chosen by Rick as his replacement in 2016. I think Rick might be a bit more of an expert on rhythm guitar playing than you or me.
@@hey1908 I can refer you to at least 5 Quo tribute bands where the guitarists are far better than Richie but doubt you would ever acknowledge it. There are numerous videos on UA-cam that show the errors Richie is regularly making and there's a reason his guitar volume is always kept well below Francis' in the live mix. I place zero credibility on the story that Rick endorsed this guy as his replacement. That was just a throwaway line at the time to make the child Richie feel special at his meeting with Rick. Richie kept the gig because he always defers to whatever Francis wants, just like all the other members of Francis' Quo cover band.
@@jjjddd231 Go on, give me the names of those 5 tribute bands and give me some examples of Richie's mistakes. And I hope these mistakes aren't just a bum note here and there because that's something that any guitarist can make, including Rick and Francis, and there's proof of that online. I hope you also take into account the singing voices of these guitarists you say are better than Richie because also does make a difference. As for your opinion about how Richie got into the band, let me say I know someone who was quite close with Rick at the time and never has this person doubted that the official story is what actually happened. From what I can see you seem to be one of those old hardcore fans who believe the Quo ended after the frantic four. There are many Quo tribute bands but "Rossi and friends" ain't one of them. That's the real Quo, whether you like it or not. The frantic four wasn't even close to being the original lineup, but that's what bands do: they change.
@@hey1908 I see you're trying to deflect from your absurd statement that Richie is a legend, so I'm not going to entertain that notion. What's your legend doing now that Quo is finished? Surely a legend would have no shortage of big performing and recording projects to take on.

Richie does a damn VERY GOOD job!! A shame when the band will retire next....he's on fire (Richie) - keep up your passion!!!
at the end of this song Richie sends messages to heaven...to Rick...👍
I saw them 1979, in their absolute pomp. No frills, just an high quality performance. 😮
