I've said this in other videos, but Nintendo really leaning into Bowser being a metalhead has been one of the best Mario Character character developments.
I feel like after 3D World and Meowser, Nintendo realized that they can basically do anything with Bowser that wasn't just turning him big and still make it cool.

That's so goofy but also really cool at the same time and I feel like Bowser's one of the only villains that can consistently have that balance.
Between base 3D World, Odyssey and Wonder, it's really felt like Bowser has turned into less of a villain and more of a showman. Dude made an entire amusement park, threw a giant wedding on the moon and his plan in this game was basically to make a never ending rave around the world and have have evetyone submit to his sick beats. I honestly think if Bowser didn't love being the bad guy so much, he'd be an awesome DJ/wedding planner/amusement park tycoon/probably whatever else he sets his mind to.
It's like Team Rocket. When they do anything that is not villainous they tend to be far more successful then when doing bad things. Bowser is in the wrong line of work. Should double down on being an entertainer. He'd KILL it

Even if we don't call Bowser truly evil, there are plenty of more purely evil Mario villains other than King Boo. Fawful and Dimentio come to mind (and probably Antasma if he hadn't been betrayed in the end).

I was hoping for a little more of a challenge, but at one point I just stopping thinking that way and just appreciated how cool and fun this boss fight was myself, so awesome
It’s so easy, that my sister, who never plays videogames, was able to survive it. It was 2 player, and she struggled with the level itself, but was good with the boss. I let her get the final hit.
Honestly, they managed to make a Bowser fight actually fun to fight against again. Credit where credit is due. Haven't had this much fun with a Bowser fight since New Super Mario Bros Wii Also, slowling turning Bowser into a metalhead? Im all for it
I always loved the parts where Bowser would retreat to the background and do a little fist pumping while firing the piranha plant notes. It gave me time to actually focus on how good of a song this is.
And the final Bowser fight is a music level, perfect. I love the rock concert theme of this arena, it fits Bowser perfectly, and the music and the cheering getting more intense during each phase is just amazing, I especially can't get over the beat of that last phase. Seeing how this fight was music-based I was hoping it would go down the Just Shapes and Beats path and be more of a bullet hell (especially the part where he fires fiery piranha notes), but what we got was amazing as well.

I love how this starts with elements of Koopa's Road from SM64, before turning into its own thing. Between this and Bowser's Fury, heavy metal Bowser is absolutely a thing, and I'm loving it! Edit: It's actually Bowser's boss theme from SM64, not Koopa's Road, which is his course theme
I was wondering what was missing from the other uploads of this till now and I thank you for including the swelling moments where the platforms spring up, really completes the beat!
Ok, but I seriously think whoever designed this boss fight is a genius, easily my favourite final boss in a 2d Mario game imo, even if he wasnt all that difficult

It was so much better! The past few 2D Bowser fights have just been the original then big Bowser, here we got a completely different thing that lasts so much longer.

Bowser in this game gives me so much Lord Hater energy, more than he ever has before, its great. He even has the green magic and massive ship shaped like his head!
I’m really starting to believe Bowser is more just misunderstood than evil with every game. The Koopa is a king for a reason, he throws absolute killer parties and plans everything down to the last detail.
This has become one of my favorite Bowser fights in the series, with only the 3d Land, 3d World and Galaxy games having better battles. Its also one of the most unique when compared to the others. It also helps that it has a killer battle theme.

Even if the fight is easy, I'm so happy that the final Bowser encounter is actually a fight like in Super Mario World as opposed to the effortless classic bridge and axe/switch we kept getting for a while. Though it's not like all of the bridge & switch encounters were bad. I especially enjoyed it in the chase format where it's about escaping rather than just getting on the opposite side of Bowser, such as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii & Super Mario 3D Land.
Bowser then : obssesion of P. Peach who capture her and want her kingdom Bowser now: just want a whole kindom for stage so he can starts a huge show ! From a tirant from a huge... HUGE showman. He just wants a purpose in life.
Well, he had the Flower Kingdom oppressed and possessed foreign castles (which left the respective worlds without resources) when planning his show [possibly his greatest crimes in this game], hence, Bowser didn't really have a truly evil plan [because at least he didn't have anyone as a prisoner if we don't include the Royal Seeds]
This song is fantastic. Love the little references, like the main melody's instrument being a sort of recreation of Bowser's instrument from Super Mario 64
I love how silly this game was. Bowser grooving to his own evil rave had me and my mom giggling our butts off while beating the shid out of his floating hands XD

If someone has to explain to me why I like this fight despite its simplicity, I'd say it's because it's got presentation that would make Megamind shake in his custom baby seal leather boots. It's a lot easier to enjoy games when you're not like "Yeah, yeah, yeah, but where's the CHALLENGE" for EVERY game, whether it's meant to be challenging or not. Who cares if you're a god gamer, this music is BUMPIN'.
First off, I love how the final battle felt less like a battle and more like an event. This is the closest you can possibly get to dancing in a mario game other than some animations. This is the closest Mario has gotten to an in-game comcert, tied with Odyssey, and both felt like events you just had to be there for. And then there's the fsct this sounds like music from doom of all things really made this so interesting in a good way.
Ehhh idk if this sounds like doom. Closest is classic doom but even that id say is a bit of a stretch. It definitely sounds like Mario 64’s theme which is pretty cool

This deserves game of the year due to how fresh it is for something it's done before and it makes you NEEEEEED more. The only thing wrong with this game is that it ends.
I feel like you can really tell that bowser is just addicted to the game of cat and mouse at this point. I didn’t even think he had a full plan until they got there and at that point it was just a worldwide rave on some doofenshmirts “please thwart my evil plan” type shit
For a moment I felt this was just a never-ending battle, specially when bro throws those big ass spike balls. After all, when you finally uncover that final switch, you understand why the airships were made like that.
They did Bowser justice in this game. Nintendo showed us that even though Bowser is the villain here. Bowser can be very fun and humorously intimidating.
Ngl I kinda wish there was a actual on and off option for the sound so we can listen to this banger without the platform sfx. This theme is awesome on how to makes use of Bowser's theme from Mario 64.
Missed opportunity to have Bowser use the full capability of his power and then have Prince Florian turn into a butterfly in a finale, but that’s just an idea. The in game fight is really good too, and the music slaps.

at this point im starting to think Shigeru Miyamoto is a metal head and is incorperating every type of metal and rock out there we had metal bowser death metal bowser and now we have mosh pit bowser Shigeru really just reviving the metal genre
Miyamoto barely had any involvement in the game: at most, he might've played a supervisory role. Tezuka was the producer, but for the most part, Wonder is the brainchild of the new, younger team of developers at Nintendo.

The way that I see Bowser is that he is spoiled man-child who’s heavily misguided. King Boo is the only considerably evil Mario villain.

Yeah, it was easy, but I figured it was going to be with how this game has been. I was just there for the SPECTACLE.
It’s so easy, that my sister, who never plays videogames, was able to survive it. It was 2 player, and she struggled with the level itself, but was good with the boss. I let her get the final hit.

I’m really starting to believe Bowser is more just misunderstood than evil with every game. The Koopa is a king for a reason, he throws absolute killer parties and plans everything down to the last detail.
One of my all-time favorite Bowser themes BY FAR. It may not be the most dramatic (Galaxy 1 and 2), but it just oozes the most Bowser energy to me
Eggman builds the theme park, N. Gin is in charge of the music and Bowser is the showman

This has become one of my favorite Bowser fights in the series, with only the 3d Land, 3d World and Galaxy games having better battles.
Its also one of the most unique when compared to the others. It also helps that it has a killer battle theme.

To think that the first thing Bowser would do when he achieves godlike omnipotencd and reality bending powers is to host a sick-ass party
Bowser got his priorities straight.
And begin said party with a Jim Carrey-styled dance.
Even if the fight is easy, I'm so happy that the final Bowser encounter is actually a fight like in Super Mario World as opposed to the effortless classic bridge and axe/switch we kept getting for a while.
Though it's not like all of the bridge & switch encounters were bad. I especially enjoyed it in the chase format where it's about escaping rather than just getting on the opposite side of Bowser, such as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii & Super Mario 3D Land.

Well, he had the Flower Kingdom oppressed and possessed foreign castles (which left the respective worlds without resources) when planning his show [possibly his greatest crimes in this game], hence, Bowser didn't really have a truly evil plan [because at least he didn't have anyone as a prisoner if we don't include the Royal Seeds]
Lay this over Mario 64's Bowser Battle theme. It's a perfect fit!
This song is fantastic. Love the little references, like the main melody's instrument being a sort of recreation of Bowser's instrument from Super Mario 64

The difficult part is remembering to actually fight Bowser instead of just vibing

When the music starts up, and Bowser gets the crowd to start cheering, imagine Mario & Bowser’s friends & allies from the Smash universe, among the crowds cheering on both Team Mario & Team Bowser!

If someone has to explain to me why I like this fight despite its simplicity, I'd say it's because it's got presentation that would make Megamind shake in his custom baby seal leather boots. It's a lot easier to enjoy games when you're not like "Yeah, yeah, yeah, but where's the CHALLENGE" for EVERY game, whether it's meant to be challenging or not. Who cares if you're a god gamer, this music is BUMPIN'.
The fact that Bowser was announcing him taking over the universe with a concert is just one of the craziest things.

First off, I love how the final battle felt less like a battle and more like an event. This is the closest you can possibly get to dancing in a mario game other than some animations. This is the closest Mario has gotten to an in-game comcert, tied with Odyssey, and both felt like events you just had to be there for. And then there's the fsct this sounds like music from doom of all things really made this so interesting in a good way.
Ehhh idk if this sounds like doom. Closest is classic doom but even that id say is a bit of a stretch. It definitely sounds like Mario 64’s theme which is pretty cool

I feel like you can really tell that bowser is just addicted to the game of cat and mouse at this point. I didn’t even think he had a full plan until they got there and at that point it was just a worldwide rave on some doofenshmirts “please thwart my evil plan” type shit
For a moment I felt this was just a never-ending battle, specially when bro throws those big ass spike balls. After all, when you finally uncover that final switch, you understand why the airships were made like that.

Missed opportunity to have Bowser use the full capability of his power and then have Prince Florian turn into a butterfly in a finale, but that’s just an idea. The in game fight is really good too, and the music slaps.

I just completed Super Mario Bros Wonder, and honestly, this final boss was one of the best I've ever done.
Bowser’s fights are always a spectacle and that’s why I love him.

Miyamoto barely had any involvement in the game: at most, he might've played a supervisory role. Tezuka was the producer, but for the most part, Wonder is the brainchild of the new, younger team of developers at Nintendo.
Miyamoto is kinda retired from Mario Games and nowadays acts as a cosultant.
