2 years ago, old apple tree lost 75% of its branches. There are lots of new vigorous sprouts now. I'm thinking I should remove all the tiny fruits so the energy will be spent on new growth.

Why does Leviticus 19:23 say not eat the fruit for 3 years from a young tree

I am sure it is to help the fruit tree gain strength and become established. God surely knows best.

When do you stop plucking the fruit?

Year 2. If you have a potted fruit tree from the nursery that is a year old, then remove the fruit the next year and you should be good.

Darn, i bought a tree last fall, and it’s got over 50 peaches already...i really don’t want to pick em😭

It is best for the tree usually. You can pick 75% off and it may still be good depending on how established the roots are. It is about getting the tree as healthy as it can be first.

@@CountryLivingExperience two other trees, 50% bigger, only had 5-6 on them. I have no idea why the small one had so many.
