Demolition of the former Littlewoods mill Linney Lane Shaw Oldham

Originally constructed in 1907 as cotton mills: Lily, Lily (No. 2), Newby, Rutland, Ash and Dee, Rutland Mill , the Cotton mills closed in 1966 but the group of buildings was converted to a distribution centre which opened in 1979. The conversion involved the demolition of Dee, Ash and Rutland Mills and the construction of new distribution buildings. At its height was the largest employer in Oldham.
