    Those last 25 courses of brickwork look new in comparison to the chimney proper.

    Time has taken its toll on that capping, doesn’t look like it will be long before the rest collapses.

    You missed a trick there Graham by not putting the drone through that hole and filming inside the chimney.

      Hi Johnny, yes indeed. It is about 320 feet high. Fred dibnah worked on it in the past.Cheers, Graham.

      Yes he was unique Fred. Loved his steam engines and “cadged” parts and stuff whenever he could (in a loveable way I might add!). I will never forget him scaling India Mill chimney with long ladders - he must have been mad ! Rest in peace Fred 🙏

    Oh yeah someone posted similar on Facebook group for darwen
