Another one who's just fledged the nest. This one is little and she was far too hot and very thirsty, allowed me to get close and top the water up - has a few drinks and then falls asleep! After about twenty minutes an adult Pigeon arrives to wake her up, possibly a parent. You can see how small she is in comparison. After this she was revived and flew off.. was very good at flying and fast!
Baby Pigeons are easy to identify by their relatively darker eyes and (less bright) feet, and by their goofy behaviour.

Aww that is a very young pigeon, still has a few strands of its yellow baby feathers on its back. So adorable though, you are so lucky to get up that close.🐦💕🫶
Yup, just fledged. I've been getting about one or two a day arriving this week, i think the parents bring them for the water - Is hot atm!
