By any chance does it make a loud noise whenever you hit the brakes or turn the steering wheel? I have a 2001 Sierra 2500HD 8.1 L and every time I steer or press the brakes to stop or shift gears or makes a weird loud noise! Would you know if it’s a bad master cylinder?
@@BentOaksGarage I’m not quite sure where the noise comes from exactly but left side of the engine bay seems to be the spot! I turn o the truck and it’s normal but as soon as I lightly press the brakes to engage gears it “cries” makes the noise if I’m driving straight it’s okay no sound out of the ordinary but if the press brakes to slow down or turn the wheel noise

Exactly where is the noise coming from? You say it makes it when you turn, I'm leaning more towards a bad wheel bearing or sticking caliper.

So no pressure from brakes lines = bad master cylinder
Nope
@@stevenvazquez687did you figure out what was causing that? I have the same issues currently.
