- The Feiyue sneaker is a Chinese Icon and a pleasant shoe at a great price. The flexibility and construction is A grade, even though it could add some bells and whistles, they have kept the materials very simple, but reliable and they have added many clever design points, such as the reinforced toe cap and the sleeve under the shoe tongue that does a great job in securing its position.
the Feiyue is an excellent value and due to licensing, there are a few options for the classic chinese design and also an option for a more contemporary look with different colorways and materials.

Thanks for the comment on the springyness or bounce. I need something for basketball. I found I have springer legs when running ironically after getting into to barefoot shoes, but forb basketball on concrete I want just that little bit more sole but without sinking in. Which I realize now with excessive cushioning it actually takes away your true bounce jumping. Also triggers knee pain when I try to go back cushy.
Barefoot/ minimal has been a game changer. Thx for your review. I will at least experienment with these for hoops.
I got mine on eBay for $20. I think they’re great. I like the style of them, and as minimal, cheap athletic shoes they’re a lot better than Chucks.
Great price, i paid a bit more on amazon but i will kepe an eye out for my size on ebay. I love them too.

Im just like you a barefoot shoe lover . To be honest these feiyue are bye far the most frequent shoe I use to have long walk. Plus you get to develop a lot more your foot muscle so you can sprint much quicker.

How does the sizing run on these? IIRC, a size 45 is equivalent to a US Men's 11? That's also what I usually buy with US-brand sneakers and such, but that's mainly because the toe box on most common sneakers is so narrow that I need to size up in order to fit. Once in a while, I find one that is wide enough that I can do a 10.5(Wide). That said, these would also be sneakers that I'm wearing with thick athletic tube socks on so I wonder if it makes sense for me to do a 43 or a 44 if I'm going bare in shoes like these.

Go for the feiyues, if you have wide feet.
they actually baked the rubber. they don't use glue.
They don't glue it to the canvas? They dip it into the rubber? I have seen a few companies do that too, thanks for the info.

Yes, they have a some responsive cushioning that make it great for jumping rope
oh,almost forgot...your sole has a green triangle ....I thought that was only on the Top One originals ?
I think tiger claw and top one both have it as they are the original manufacturers.
They don't have large sizes. I am size 49/50.
