KOT wears french/fake/streetware Feiyues not the martial arts ones.

Do you recommend these shoes for boxing and are they made for wide feet? My feet hurts while wearing generic workout shoes in training.

Id say to go for a size 8 if you are something in a size 7 1/2
What about training on the mat is the grip too much? I want them but want to make sure I can pivot my foot properly when I’m kicking
Hi, to be honest i think they will have a bit to much grip on mat that already grips, but everyone is different

Hey man thanks for the video very interesting but what exactly are the difference between red circle and green triangle ? Are they soles thicker or something ?
Hey man, the green triangle are the original design for Feiyues. since then the factory has produced slightly different moulds for customers that want they're own type of Feiyue. So the Red triangles are simply just a different batch for a specific order or supplier. They all come from the same factory. The different moulds can feel slightly different on your feet, and sometimes the rubber can be a slightly different consistency.
It’s pronounced 飛躍 fei Yue. Like Yu-eh.

Which one would be better for weight lifting?
A few people have asked about these for weight lifting, tbh I have no idea about shoes for weightlifting only Kung Fu I'm afraid
Would you recommend these shoes for jump roping or skipping rope? Would it matter if it's the high top or low top?
Yes great for that, its personal preference to some degree but the low tops allow more ankle movement if that helps.
Sadly, size 11s always seem to be a small fit because us size 11s have wide feet...
any alternatives??
unfortunately we struggle to get in sizes 11, and as they dont have any give we normally recommend going up a size!
Does the ‘top one’ have a padded/cushioned insole? I have a red dot pair bought from feiyue london, which have a padded insole at the heel end. Cheers.
it has slight padding in but will be different from Feiyue London. Feiyue London is more for fashion wear, we get in the feiyues from China that are designed to be used for training

Great info. What is your take on the Feiyue 1920 shoes? They have the red circle on the sole.
Hey man, good question. The people we sell to prefer the green triangle soles. The Kung Fu guys prefer them as they find they tend to last longer and the Circus guys find that too with Chinese Pole and Slack line. I think the soles of the red circle are stiffer, so maybe better for just walking around but not so much for training where you need a softer rubber for grip. The red soles seem to split. There are loads of very slightly different Feiyues now but for my customers they all prefer the green triangle if possible. Also they are the original ones and the ones they use the most in China.

Yeah, they are still legitimate feiyue's but not the original feiyue. The rubber in the soles are different. Green triangle is best for Kung Fu but red triangle is still okay.
@@EnsoMartialArts I bought online but the size is kinda too small for me. Developed blisters after using. Will put it aside for now.
Are these shoes zero drop? ie do they have a raised heel or are they flat like barefoot shoes?
Hello Pete, they are pretty flat (no heel really, maybe 5mm or something) throughout the shoe and over time they do flatten out to be similar to the barefoot style shoes, but initially there is a certain amount of adding underfoot.
Could you skateboard in those?
their great for all proposes1 we have people come into our store all the time for lots of different things because they are so comfy and last for quite a long time!
they’re gonna feel like you’re skating with your bare feet when you land. there isn’t much comfort in them, but i think they would hold up okay against the grip. they’re made of canvas but it looks like they have a rubber tie cap

You can do either, obviously if you wear socks the shoes will be tighter
