For those that were wondering since I forgot to mention it in my detail of the car, I’ve got an OEM type R lip on there modified to fit the car. My wheels are Voxx Falcos 18x8 +40 offset.

My civic sedan has 61000 miles and still runs like a champ. Yet, I haven’t tuned it or added any aftermarket parts yet. Still, what a great car

Go built before bolt ons or base tunes
Night Runner No. from what I found, it really only effects those who are much colder conditions. Typically, it only happens when people don’t allow the car to warm up.
Night Runner sounds like you’ve got a lemon. The new CRV has been having the main issues.
Night Runner honestly, don’t think too much of it. This is happening on some, not all. Plus if you just warm the car up before you drive it for a min or two, you’ll be fine. Don’t over think this

Hey Cameron: Glad you mentioned the doors on the Coupe. I've owned my 2017 Si Coupe for 3 years now and the 2 things that bother me the most are the doors and the very limited rear visibility. The doors are really heavy and they're a nightmare if you park in tight spaces.

I know you talked about getting rid of the 10th gen in a year or so but the more you do to it the less you’re going to want to give it up 😂. Interior mods are very important. A lot of people do everything to their engines and make the car aesthetically pleasing but forget about the interior. The interior is where the driver spends all their time so it should never be overlooked. Looking forward to seeing if you feel a difference once the downpipe and frontpipe are installed. And now I'm looking forward to a steering wheel install vid! Airbags always freak me out when I see someone messing with a steering wheel though.
Super easy to do on these cars. It’s got a clip to undo electrical to the airbag. It won’t go off with you messing with it.
I didn’t do mine myself but I watched the tech do it and it really didn’t look bad at all. He finished it under 45 mins.

10th gen 65k club member!!I love my 2017 Si sedan with 65k miles. I installed an intake and exhaust first, then I tuned it after 25k miles. I have never had a day of clutch slip.

I have an 18 sedan, 58k miles, ktuner V2, act clutch/flywheel combo, cobra with race maf, Konig Ampliform 18x9.5 +35 with Michelin as3's, lowered on swift spec r springs, muffler delete, hasport rear 62a mount, and emans Master Cylinder, next will be the prl dp/fp and intercooler, I've been on the tsp stage 1 for about 30k miles and about 10k on the new clutch running map 3 on the tsp tune.
I’ve got an FKX Racing dry carbon steering wheel that is absolutely phenomenal you’d love it
From flywheel and motor mounts thats why you get more response
your at a point now where in my opinion i recommend you will need a custom tune unless you can deal with unstable knock control, especially without 93+ octane gas
He should do his own custom headlight retrofit from TRS

The steering wheel is a fake carbon fiber but the outside is leather
The 2018 SI came stock with the regular halogen headlights and LED edges. The full LED set was given to all 2020 SIs which I also like.
Yeah I’m very disappointed that Honda waited 2 years to decide that hey the si’s should get touring headlights.

The downpipe makes a huge difference. And the gear ratio changes the amount of load on the motor. More load more boost.!
the rattle or vibration is caused by the Rear motor mount.( took mine off because i couldn't stand it made the car fee like a POS) the throttle response is caused by the fact that he has a lighter Single mass flywheel and catless downpipe.
Hey can you raise the idle rmp. I added a stilffer trans mount and makes the car shake at idle. But if i hold it at 1000 1100rpm tge shake stops

I can confirm that catless dp/fp does increase boost gain and throttle response. If you want to hear my coupe setup, I have a video or two of cold starts and revs on my youtube. I am NOT tuned either. Check it Cameron if you got time. Keep up the civicx love!!!
Nice ride man. I was between the SI and the Veloster N. I went with the N cuz I got it for the same price as the SI and couldn't pass that up, but the SI is still a phenomenal car for the money

@@dakotahall1284 you should try to drive one. Hyundai has a stigma from like 30 years ago that a lot of people can't get over. The former head of BMWs M division now works for Hyundai and is responsible for the Veloster N, which is why it drives so good. Since I value performance over everything, the N was an obvious choice over the SI.

Im not worried about smog at all becUse you dont have to smog a car until its 6 years old here
Cameron Hill has a brand new 2020 si. I believe that if you have an older model it’s every two years.

So with the fx400 clutch he has how much torque can that one hold because I’m looking to get a new clutch and I have no idea what to go with I have a 2020 si sedan and I would like to get Ktuner and front pipe and down pipe
Go with the type r retrofit. It can hold 500hp easily

Amazon has really good ones for a fraction of the cost of other companies. They are really good. Had mine on for 2 years now and haven’t had to change them

I usually drive about 65-70mph and average about 38-40mpg

Elijah Nawrot in city driving, you can’t really help that. But freeway driving, you want to stay out of boost as much as you can and drive around 65-70mph
The throttle response is better probably beacause of the lighter flywheel.

Yes I know it’s illegal, I carry on my property because we get coyotes and we have smaller animals on our property. It is a shield 9mm, lol I have multiple guns. I like the size for carrying better🤣

longer gear is actually better for high hp build though. shorter gears probably better for 300-400hp build.

I have the Coupe. You aren't going to get any benefits for the coupe other than 40lb difference. Get whatever looks better to you or practicality wise.

Been running hondata for about the same time frame as he’s been running Ktuner and I believe it’s mostly the users fault if they mess up something. Just like others have messed up their cars running ktuner.
Hondata went through a series of messing up the stock basemap flash when people went back to stock. Their “stock basemap” didn’t match my ecu which bricked it.
Dakota Hall that’s odd, not saying I don’t believe you but I had an fk7 before my Fc3 so around 2016 and even then I was running Hondata and never heard of others having that issue or personally had that issue.
Fernando J. Yeah it was only specific for a certain batch of cars that it affected. I am guessing I was part of that group

ABS Dynamics has a type r lip that fits perfectly on the Si and has no gap

They’re not building the SI next year. New model comes out in 2021 so they’re taking a year off like they did for the 10th gen so no new SI until 2022

Man I do not miss the illumination of oem headlights, its so weak, but c'mon Cameron, touring headlights suck (my opinion)! Dakota I retrofitted my oem headlights and blacked them out and that's what I recommend for you. You can paint them any color or keep them chrome. I’ve been waiting on a set of actual headlights that I like to come out. But also got a family to support so it’s not been a super big priority

@@dakotahall1284 I gotcha dude....didn't mean to sound like a dick initially, but I was just confused cause you have some awesome mods done to your car. And HID's are nice, but LEDs are super easy to install since it's just a bulb, you don't need to run a relay harness like you would for an HID
