It’s been about 2.5 years owning my 2018. The only mods I’ve done is change the side blinker lights from orange to smoke and change LED bulbs, haha. I know nothing about cars 🤣 I’ve been wanting to do a PRL down pipe install but too chicken LOL. It’s been neat seeing your car evolve over the 2 years! I remember all the drama you went through around those splitters, haha.
What kind of wiring did you have to do for the the sport mode switch replacement? Very curious myself as i agree the switch is so much better than the button 👌
Hello friend, I need your help, how many hp did your car have? be sincere. second question friend, why did prl stop selling the turbo kit? was it failing? Did the engines roar? Help me
Pretty sure its a bypass valve and not a blow off valve because a blow off valve requires a tune, and a bypass valve is recircularing. The Boomba bypass valve helps with air pressure from the turbo to give it a little more power and less stress. I currently have a perrin one sitting in a box for my 2018 wrx, so I had to do a little digging on what bypass/ blow off valves do lol.
@@jacobgoins1773 It could've just been limited to my car in specific, but there were minor things that bothered me and the dealership couldn't/didn't figure out. I had the first of the new generation so there were quirks. Also I live where there's a good amount of snow and I got a WRX now which handles much much better
You should already notice your clutch slipping when get on it. Definitely need to upgrade your clutch to keep the hp getting the trans down to the wheels. Fly wheel should be Automatic when doing this performance upgrade. You notice the difference and there alot of options. Depends on how you like it to feel. Good luck
I've been in the market for a 2018 Honda Civic si and was wondering what type of fuel you put in it. I know the owner's manual states that the car should receive premium, but can it take regular? Furthermore, I think the car has a knock sensor that changes the ignition timing caused by the difference in the fuel quality. Still, I would like to eliminate knocking altogether to preserve the engine.
My block is built so it’s not a stock engine. So for me to push 350 is fine, the rods and piston are stronger than the stock blocks rods and pistons which blow when trying to push 300whp+
Yeah I tend to rub a lot when getting in, it’s my own fault 😅 Also it’s not behind ceramic tint, it’s just normal film. But throughout its time behind that, it’s detected far for me. So no issues there, but I appreciate the input!
The “is it fast” question is kind of a dumb one. it’s a Honda Civic, it wasn’t ever intended for breakneck performance it was just meant to be fun. It makes me happy when I see them Except for the Type-R but that’s like $35,000
Dude you got pieces of tire stuck in the side of your bumper..dont hate on the coupes then have a stay humble sticker. Having those nards I see your taste is terrible..if I would have got this boat instead of my coupe first thing I would have done was take off that ugly rear bumper and cut those plastic vents out and put real black grills/mesh

LOL I was there two years rn with mine finally got a magnaflow exhaust 😂
What's a life without trying anything?
The fitment on my grill and bumper is actually great! 2020 Lunar Silver Coupe Si!
My 9th gen had those bumper fitment issues. Glad my new one doesn’t
What mpg do you get with all the mods?
Can you provide details how's how to get those front cenard wings along with sideskirts and rear?
What kind of wiring did you have to do for the the sport mode switch replacement? Very curious myself as i agree the switch is so much better than the button 👌
Did you pass smog with those upgrades?
Best 10th gen si out there
rub issues with the D2s?

ive been here for the 2 years 🤣
I’m trying to get it to just like 150 how could I do that 2017 civic si?????
Get the 2020 front and rear bumper garnishes. I put them on my 2019 and they turned out amazing.
Ive had the bomb blow off valve for two years and it works great no turbo kit just a tune.
Do you think fbo with a tune on 91 safe ?
Just got my 2018 Civic SI yesterday! Thanks for this! ^_^
How wide are the rims and what offset? Car looks great btw
Ryan
Did you do a wiring video for that Type R mode switch?
I am highly interested in doing that.
Please share. Thanks
Where did you find the Red Honda badges? Will they fit the Coupe? and how much were they
Owned my 2018 civic si coupe since April 2020 and its fbo tuned on hondata and i just installed the prl big turbo gen2 now to hit the dyno🤙
How much did the built trans cost you?
Very clean ride bro! I think we met once at the Chevron in Carmel Mountain
Where do i get those honda badges
Hondata MAP sensor. The MAF sensor is the one on the intake
Haha thanks, I meant to correct that in the video. But ended up forgetting 😅 Had a brain fart during the video lol
Wait so what happens with a boomba blow off valve ?? Cause I have one on my civic non sport 2020

@@grantcarlson650 yea it is a bypass valve , I did a lot of research but most people just choose not to put them on their cars idk why it sounds nice
how's the oil dilution problem?
you're really making me miss my 2017 si lol
Why did you get rid of it? I’m considering getting a 10th gen, might hold out for 11th though

I just got mine today, about 25k on it
Where did you get the oil cap?
I just got +9psi tune from hondata on my car. Do I need to replace clutch soon and what about flywheel?

1st mod is Get Ktuner tsp or phearble tune & you’ll be fine
Was it easy to wire in that type r button and do you have a link to it ?
Why didn't you get a type r ?
Hello really enjoyed the video. I just got a si. And I really want the red H where do you suggest I get one?
No shift boot?

I use premium only as recommended

Keepin errr clean
Rice rice baby!
Ooooof can’t want to fuck with my 2019 EX hatchback this way.
Did you mean to say 400whp or more can blow it instead of 300whp? Because you said you’re running 350 whp rn so I’m a bit confused

do you have a link for your rear diffuser? cant find one to fit my exhaust
It is custom made by @ubeymade on Instagram. He does hand crafted aero, you can contact him.

Love the wheels.. making me want to get gold rims
bruh I need to get me a radar detector too
With the amount of runs you do with your Si, I would invest in one haha 😂
as a coupe owner I AM OFFENDED!!! jk lol
How wide are the rims and what offset?
The camera shake gave me a headache!
"How many canards do you want"
"Yes" - this guy
I really wish Honda would make a hatchback version of the Si..
I wish there was a paddle shifter version..
Your car is dope

Hmong!!!!
i have a 2018 si coupe and my seats are mint. :P if your valentine 1 is behind ceramic tint you're really hurting its range.

if im going to do this much on my SI
I would just buy a Type R to start
Type R cost 10-20k more
@@RaymondPlays how much does upgrading the engine cost? Plus type R is a 2.0 not 1.5.
🔥

Only 350 to the wheels on a 1.5 t lol
More like 2 years of abuse
