Excellent video. Another great example of this I’ve been working on is Brian’s solo in Let’s Live It Up! In the first two bars he goes back and forth from Bb7 to F7b9 and alternates between major and diminished scales. Once you hear it, it makes total sense. Thanks for posting this video.
I remember the very first time I played a diminished arpeggio. I was "trying" to play an Yngwie Malmsteen song and I got to that part. My fingers played what the TABS told me to and my ears said "holy sh*t!" THAT is the sound! Awesome lesson Duderino.
