I think one of the most underrated aspects of the breaking of the streak is Paul Heyman’s reaction. Considering their history, Heyman trying to break it with Punk the year before, and all the stuff in WCW, Paul Heyman going “OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD.” seems so genuine and real. Like even he can’t believe that he experienced it.
I remember the deafening silence that occured after the 3-count, where Paul was reacting to the win, then kind've looked around like he triggered some sort of bomb. "OH MY GOD, BROCK, YOU... you did... it-I've never heard it this quiet... we should go. GO, NOW!"
While I have no problem with Taker losing to Lesnar here, I am glad my mom wasn't alive to see it. She was the ultimate Undertaker fan and every one of his Mania matches made her so nervous! I took her to WM24 in Orlando and 28 in Miami and she got to see him win the title over Edge, my all time favorite! Memories that will never be forgotten.
I'd still like to see WCW/nWo Souled Out just to see if it breaks Simon. Either that or the first Impact on AXS where Sami Callihan won the Impact world championship.
@Wizard In The Sky Turns Heel I think it was 1997? There was only one Souled Out. It was the WCW attempt to make the nWo into it's own brand. It's pretty bad.
I was in the “Silverdome” I mean Super Dome for this event. When Taker loss you could have heard a pen drop in the building that us how silent it was. When Daniel Bryan won it was cool seeing about 98% of the crowd doing the yes chant. I was also in the building for WM 34. I had better seats but the show was good but was not better than WM 30
I reached USA in Jan 2014 and watching a wrestling show live was top of bucket list. Little did I know that this would be the first Wrestling show I will see live- loved each moment- childhood relived in one single show

You know when a movement like the yes movement crosses into another wrestling company you have something special. The TNA crowed started the yes chants and essentially Daniel Bryan took over a company he wasn't apart of. That gets two thumbs up!
The retirement match Taker had vs Roman was great. I loved everything that happened and the big send off wall out he did after stood in the ring in all his old school gear and took it off. Me and my son were up until 1 am watching this and my wife yelled at me all day the next day for keeping him up that late on a school night BUT she wasn’t a wrestling fan EVER and she didn’t understand what an amazing thing that was to see live.
