Set up to be such a bad Mania and wound up being such a good one. Bryan winning the Intercontinental title, Rock and Rousie, the best RKO reversal ever, Taker coming back a bit from the streak loss, and a Main event that started with a good match and gave us an awesome ending we didn't know we could get.
Cena's Redemption began with the US Title win and the start of the US Open Challenge.Though WWE should have handled Rusev better after this Mania.Instead they buried him with the Ziggles feud and the League of Nations.
Really good PPV that, probably the best Mania for a while. For the next one, what about Backlash 2000, it was the first PPV watching when I was a kid and borrowed a VHS tape from a friend to see it.

He also suggested the Katie Vick storyline and also pitched that he would have a romantic affair with his own daughter. Only didn't happen because everybody else around him said no. WWE do have successes but you start to wonder if they're in spite of Vince, when he gets desperate or isn't paying attention...

Examples would be the XFL, and trying to make Mark Henry work (hired him in 1997 and made loads of merch for him. Didn't get over. Tried again in 2002. Didn't get over. Tried again with Hell of Pain and yes it got over a bit... but limited. On the other hand they're constantly burying or letting go guys who haven't even had Henry's first push!). My caveat point is that Mark Henry is an awesome guy who wrestled pretty good the more he was allowed to learn.
I like Jules alot too. His presenting is much more thoughtful/professional than anyone else on the channel. And I don't mind Adam Wilbourn as well, but rarely see him on videos.
Poor Sting got humiliated in his first WWE match and nearly got killed in his last one. I'm glad he has the chance now to end his career in his own terms in a company that respects him.
Actually one of the greatest wrestlemania of all time. We got The IC ladder match. Rusev vs cena was good. We got probably the greatest RKO of all time. And the main event was fantastic. Fantastic show.
Of all the stars on the opening graphic 2 are fully retired (HHH & Taker), 1 Part time at best (Cena), 2 still active in WWE and still top of their game (Roman & Orton) and 3 are active and doing amazing things in AEW (Sting, Bryan, Miro). Crazy that AEW has the most stars from this card that was just a few years back.
Sorry Simon, I was at the show and can confirm everyone knew Rollins was going to be cashing in. What no one expected was it coming in the middle of the main event instead of after, that caught everyone off guard.
I had left watching wwe for a while and this was the first show i watched after so long i was so glad that i started at the right time because i knew something big is coming up for seth and roman after watching the main event one of my best decisions

I still remember, as fun as it was to have WCW vs WWE (NWO vs DX), but i was also thinking that the video package LITERALLY talks about the build being Sting looking to take down the authority!

my favorite moment of this show; when Flair showed to congratulate Daniel on his IC Title win, but he heard the crowd "WOO!", and stopped in his tracks like a he felt a disturbance in the force. yea, no one outside of wrestling would understand any of that.
Friends and I went into it with no major hype or expectations and were pleasantly surprised pretty much all night, most of us agreed it was a better full event than 30 but didn't have something as storyline intensive as the Daniel v Authority angle of the year prior
32 awful 33 mixed 34 was overall good but the main event sucked 35 mixed 36 ok but didn't was really mania for me because of no crowd 37 was ok 31 was an AMAZING show
I remember reading a card prediction that had Seth cashing in and losing to Randy, I wasn’t 100% sold that was what they were doing but it was in the back of my mind the whole night
It is kind of hard to watch some of these guys who have passed but I do it to honor them, I enjoy their work and that is what they wanted to entertain us.
This ending was great but WM30 still one of the best. I actually went to WM32 and I while the card was good I left right after the entrances of HHH/Reigns and watched the obvious underwhelming ending at home.
One thing Simon was right about: I was at this Wrestlemania live, and the Sting v. Triple H match was one of the funnest moments of my wrestling fandom

Retro ups and downs: WrestleMania 11, I often considered worst then WrestleMania 9. At least I remember the looks of the arena and things that happen, no matter how awful it was. 11 is the one that you watch and then forget 99 percent on what happen.
This was the first wrestling show I ever watched and that's why it's one of my favourites. I'm going to my first live show in 2 days so I'm really excited for that.
Rusev should have gotten the win at Mania. That was the correct payoff to the build for that match. Delaying or denying Rusev’s win was death for his mystique.
I loved it up until the end. I am a Roman nerd and didn't even think this was going to happen.out of nowhere it did!! I was going nuts enjoyed it all but was sad enjoyed at the end. The whole ppv gets a Golden up from me!
30 and 31 were the best two back to back WrestleManias 30 was straight fire and man 31 build was kind of trash but turned out great. They in my top 10 WrestleManias.

You have missed to cover TysoniKd&Cesaro vs. Usos vs Los Matadores vs New Day for the Tag titles! That match happened before the ARMBAR! WM31 was the second WM which i went to (I went ot 5 in total so far) and it was by far the best WM experience I had. I was totaly disapointed by the card and booking before the show, but godam, it didn´t just deliver, it overachieved. Every damn match had a purpose and was worth your money. One of the best Manias of all time.
growing up sting was my favorite wrestler. I started watching wcw right as sting transitioned to being the crow sting.I followed him throughout TNA. in my mind undertaker was right up there with him. imagine my excitement after finding out sting was on WWE TV. I about lost it. FINALLY STING vs. UNDERTAKER. my 2 favorite wrestlers now have the opportunity to have my dream match from when I was a kid. im so glad they went with the ICON Vs. the PHENOM and didnt turn it into some kind of statement about WWE beating and buying WCW... wait... if you cant tell this is the thing in wrestling that makes me the most bitter.
I bought WWE Network to watch this show and the Sting/HHH result is pretty much why I realized I wasn't really into wrestling any more at that point in time.

everyone loves 30… i loved 31 more💯 every match was entertaining, that main event🔥 and the youtube play button stage always memorable.
17 followed by 20,21,23,14 and 19 are my favourites.30 and 31 stand out for just Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins respectively.
