i use crumbs as leaders and enders and I have nearly made a whole quilt that way, just seaming two crumbs.
I need to start doing this! I usually use just one piece that gets over sewn until it's almost all thread. lol I need to make plans for trying this piecing the quilt thing!
I sew 2 1/2” squares together for my leader and Enders so I eventually end up with blocks.
I've done this in the past as well - it's a great way to make some extra quilts!
