When my uncle Joe came out of the army his first job was driving a s20 4 wheeler with a Gardner and 12 speed gearbox flat out it would only do 45mph and everything would pass it until it reached a hill and then it was a different tail , Great memories great lorrys thank you
great video , those vehicles with the DAF cab are not true Fodens, only badged because they have a cummins engine and not made by the Foden company in Sandbach.Fodens made great trucks as did AEC and Bedford and all the rest,greatly missed,

Foden could pretty much build a truck to any specification in house. Off the peg mass production is more profitable though. Pitty
