Great to see the Foden recovery truck that used to be based at Foden's service garage in Bow, East London, spent many an happy hour in the 1970s looking at the Foden's lined up in Eleanor street awaiting a service or picking up a spare part, also saw a fair few Foden's being towed in after breaking down or being in a smash on the back of the Foden recovery lorry in this video. Excellent memories and so good to see that old girl again.

Brilliant, nostalgic video. So good to see the old Fodens and the Atkinson Borderer too.
What a pity the garage was demolished, it should have been kept as a museum.
I love seeing classic vehicles of all types still being used. I used to drive vintage buses, but only have room for my classic Japanese bikes.

From a video entitled "The Foden Surprise". I got mine from the Foden Society years ago, but I doubt there'll be any left. A very enjoyable film. The sound of those two-strokes is music to my ears.

I lived just down the road in brownhills, I ended up working for ERF. Was an iconic land mark. Shame when they knocked it down and built the flats

I remember trucking international magazine did an article on sams garage/fodens back in 85 0r 86 when I was still at school. Such a shame the garage was knocked down.So much history there lost...
