Just wondering if you had that "Rig" in "first dirt-gear"? Because my 8×8 54hp "rig" is TOO FAST to till on first pass @ 1.4mph & pto "humming" at 540pto speed( about worthless). My other "rig" a 36hp with 12×12 "gears down" to 0.25 mph ( super low first dirt-gear) for 540pto does mighty fine. As does my 21hp 3range hydrostatic-slip-o-howl-o-whine-a-matic rig in first range ( about the only thing that it does the best at).
Then "wondering" what happened to the "rear flapper guard",( it's there to conrol the "Re-PULVERIZEing" action to INCREASE EFFICIENCY.?

it's also best to pick up the tiller before backing up or turning sharply like that. I know it can handle it now but over time you'll start tearing stuff up.
