Allow yourself to do the New Light quest and Guardian Ranks on all your prepped accounts BEFORE you start the challenge. The challenge should be about the raids, not the busywork to get into the raids.

The more “possible(copium) and challenging” idea is to try getting every raid exotic in 24 hours of playtime, but you must do every raid as full run

I don’t think the way they did guardian ranks was necessarily bad. They lock you out of certain stuff but you have to realize that this means they slowly introduce new players to this stuff over time while they play more. This will help them learn over time about what bungie wants to introduce. If you just threw everything at a new player they would have no idea where to start. This acts as a guide so they have to learn specific information when they are allowed too rather than learning too much and forgetting all of it.
I agree with everything you said but I don’t think the implementation was correct. I think an order to introduction of features is fine but needing guardian rank 5 to make a vendor purchase is just not the way imo. I do agree with an order of introduction though as like you alluded to things can get overwhelming otherwise.
Would love to see you attempt this again.

Vex Mythoclast was a real pain in the ass for me, 53 normal clears (3ish weekly) and then 67 atheon checkpoints.
God I wish...
I have around 70 clears & some checkpoints and still havent gotten it

The best would be to to it from Monday to Tuesday, that way you get the weekly reset and can do all remaning raids once more on each character

I know the pain of RNG Raid Exotics. I got CO in 12 full runs of Vow. I got Eyes in 8 attempts, half full runs, and half just Taniks). I am on 17 Nez kills and no CF yet (😢). 1 Oryx and no ToM yet. I haven't tried Riven or Atheon. I hope RNGeezus will be with me for Necrochasm next week.
As much as guaranteed quest exotics like Divinity r good, I much prefer the RNG system as it feels more rewarding when I eventually get an exotic.

Hey CB, I really enjoy this style of video/challenge but I had a hard time getting through the beginning before the challenge got started this time, as I'm 4 minutes into the runtime and we've only gotten through the challenge explanation, a sponsor, and shoutouts to your other content, which feels odd because its been almost 20% of the video and there's yet to be any "challenge" footage. Maybe in the future you could have an explanation and a sponsor if they require you to have it at the beginning of the video, and try to sprinkle your references to other collection challenges and "hey check me live on twitch" shoutouts throughout the challenge rather than stuffing them all into the beginning before we've seen the video's content. I hope I don't come off too critical, this is just something I noticed on this particular vid of yours and I wanted to say something :)

Not a raid exotic but I remember heart shadow from duality took me 51 clears with me doing it every week on all 3 characters each week to get which has never happened since
Got my first Vex on attempt 77 and my second on attempt 78 😂, my third came around 81-83

I gave up on eyes of tomorrow after 15 clears, I know it’s not much but life happens and I don’t have my static raiding team anymore. I’m just a solo player now so I quit raiding
These are seriously some of the best destiny videos on youtube. The only person I think doing this level of content is rylee. Its kind of a shame these videos dont get more views. I actually missed this video in my sub feed and I think there are 2 reasons for this. CB's profile picture is kinda generic and thumbnail choice just doesn't stand out when compared to a lot of other destiny videos. I am not saying they are bad thumbnails at all, they just dont grab my attention.
I really appreciate the kind words. Can I ask what doesn't catch your eye? First would be profile picture. Does the logo determine what video you click because that's actually feedback I haven't heard ever so I'd be curious behind the psychology of why you click on a video. For number 2 I'll be transparent this style of thumbnail is working really well for me so far and on the all 222 obtainable exotic challenge it's performing better than anything ever on my channel. With all that being said I am doing something very similar on this video, but I am trying to come up with a more unique thumbnail to do for the next raid exotic challenge video when I attempt this with Crota. When I do that I will be doing a bunch of experimenting and thumbnail A/B testing. If you could give any suggestion on a thumbnail what would you suggest? I'll keep it in mind when making that video.
@@cbgray Sure man, Dont take anything I say as what other people might do or think. I am a youtube addict and subbed to roughly 1000 channels, I use the subscriptions tab instead of the homepage and in list layout, I dont look at thumbnails as much as I do who uploaded and some people just have super memorable profile pictures. However if I am on mobile or on the homepage then I notice thumbnails. The ones that grab my attention most, when it comes to channels I am familiar with, are thumbnails that use a theme or always have a similar look so at a quick glance I know who its from. Tom Scott or Wallah are good examples of this. But I know this would be hard for you to do with your style of content. I wish I could give better feedback on thumbnails as I know that is the meta for getting views but I think I have just gotten so burnt out on seeing primary colors, red circles and arrows, that I ignore thumbnails. But I did notice that the top 1/3rd of a thumbnail I do somewhat pay attention to.
To go back on the pfp thing I think for me personally I am subbed to a lot of channels whose pfp is 1 or 2 letters, I mean thats what mine even is, a lot of the channels using a pfp in this style upload stuff that I am currently not interested in so they just kinda become noise. Aztecross's picture and thumbnail style is another example of one that always jumps out at my monkey brain.
Anyways hopefully some of that is useful or helpful. Keep up the awesome content brother!

Not sure how but when I clicked on raid zone it said I wasn't a subscriber lol which is kinda funny considering the original comment.

Great vid but hopefully you dont use that molcajete cause it's made from concrete and not volcanic rock, the concrete grinds off into powder which is toxic when ingested.

Firstly, where's collective obligation in the intro? Secondly, would you ever try this with every Dungeon exotic? Aka Wish-Ender, Xenophage, Gjallarhorn, Heartshadow, Hierarchy and The Navigator. Why doesn't Prophecy have an exotic?
Also with 1K, I opened only 2 chests and got 2 1K Voices on my first Queenswalk. My luck stash was depleted.

I’m going on 80-something and I still don’t have it.
Wanna know how bad is my RNG? I been playing D2 since day 1 and i dont have a single raid exotic. I could get div but ima solo player now. I actually have like over 100 LW clear and still no 1k Voices. Other raids i have at least more than 20 still no exotic.

I believe when you delete characters you don't get another lootable chance at exotics in raids and dungeons. This was a change made a while back to stop with overleveling and some other things.

Why not just delete the characters so you can keep the gear and not have to buy the dlcs multiple times?
You won't get another lootable chance at the raid exotic. That was a change made long ago. One attempt per week per class unfortunately. The first time a change was made pertaining to this was after everyone was deleting characters to power grind back in vanilla.
