If you pull a ship from collections you can travel to other planets. So you only have to new light once and pull the ship on your other two character. This also works for your heavy weapon.

Buying new accounts to do it all within 24 hours isn’t that interesting. Would prefer a single account where you only do those activities until you get them all is more interesting

Witherhoard should’ve been the exotic from Prophecy, too late now but it would’ve made complete sense imo
That's actually really interesting since Witherhoard was on a completely different level than basically every other seasonal weapon!
Wouldn’t ruinous effigy be that exotic? You did have to run it for the catalyst at launch
I feel like they should still do that, the less exotics you need to wait for Xur to buy the better, maybe since most people have it they could tie it to objectives/a quest than RNG
@@cbgrayit really was, there has not been a seasonal exotic nearly as good since. I also feel like some of the dungeon exotics have a vibe that’s different from the associated legendary weapons, kinda like Hierarchy of Needs being a Rasputin/Warmind themed weapon while the legendaries are Cowboy themed and the Navigator being a mat black strand weapon with the legendaries being archeology related. Witherhoard would kinda fit into that pattern with the prophecy weapons.
Who knows tho, they’ll probably add an exotic at some point in the future that’s even cooler and maybe even has the same taken theme. Thanks for replying! This content is always fun to watch man

Ruinous effigy can be prophecy's exotic if you really and i mean REALLY squint at it since some of the eyes for the catalyst were in the dungeon

I'm convinced that the exotic boosters do nothing. For instance, I got Vex on my first clear, Eyes of Tomorrow on my 3rd, and then so far after 33 clears haven't gotten Collective Obligation. But for the ones that I have done quite a few boosters for, I didn't get Touch until my 9th or 10th clear, and Conditional Finality until my 12th clear. Not to mention I still haven't gotten Hierarchy or Navigator after half a dozen clears each (all with at least 1 booster on until I could get more on future clears)

honestly, either Witherhoard or ruinous effergy could have been the exotic for prophecy. Also I forgot they took Prophecy out of the game for a few weeks to move the launch location from the tower

Prophecy exotic idea

600rpm
90 mag size
Intrinsic "5/9"
- This weapon has increasd range and deals bonus precision damage if it has more than 40 in the magazine
Exotic perk: "4/9"
- If this weapon has less than 41 in the magazine this Change this weapon's RPM to 900, increase stability and grant bonus damage based on the number of shots tha hit the enemy (up to 50%).
Catalyst:
- Rewind round, Target lock

What if prophecy had an exotic shotgun that shot in a circle, then triangle, then square formation, and did void, then arc or solar maybe? Then a darkness element, maybe the new one.
Maybe it had a three round mag and applied the debuffs according to the element, as in weaken and suppress a target with the first round, and apply a volatile explosion and give devour if it kills, then do the same thing with the next shots (ie blind and jolt with the second shot and give amplified and blinding explosion if kills, or scorch and give radiant, then cure, explode, and give restoration on kill)
maybe for the darkness it could be the same?(shatter explosion on kill, and slow heavily on hit or unravel on hit and give threadings and a tangle on kill)
and if all 3 shots kill, you can hold the reload button that then it gives a stronger round that has a 50/50 chance to be either every darkness element, with every thing above or every light element with everything above, maybe the light round would either take away a small amount of super energy (2-5%) and the darkness takes away a small amount of health (20-50%), very far out there and for balancing it should probably use heavy ammo lol😅

Ruinous Effigy imo is the prophecy exotic, had a timegate on the catalyst tied to the dungeon.

these make me happy to see how wonderful my RNG is. only a few drops have taken me a while. I always am curious when I see people say they do certain raid or dungeon 60+ times and not get the exotic. My RNG had me Get the following in D2:
Raid:

Anarchy: 3 tries
thousand voices: 40 tries
Eyes of tomorrow: 10 tries
Terrabah: 7 tries

Navigator: 20 tries(had a few people kick me out at the end of the fight when the boss was down to 10% health just to invite their buddy in)

Me watching CB get an easier version of the Wish Ender quest after I finally got in Lightfall:
"A weapon that kept players from being able to join fire teams."
And that, right there, is why my buddies dropped out of playing Destiny on the regular.
I've been trying to get them to come back, which they slowly have been, that point is one of the main ones that they reference.

if bungie brings back all the old planets and campaigns after final shape as we've beat the witness i bet you the new light campaign would be 10x better once you can go from red war to the final shape but i highly doubt that would happen
The only exotic that feels like it should be the prophecy exotic is Jade Rabbit. But im pretty sure it was already in the game when prophecy came out.

ive done ghosts of the deep more than any dungeon out there and all the people ive done it with got the exotic, i even helped them all with catalyst runs and still nothing. i currently have 2 boosts stacked with those and still nothing.

Xenophage is probably easiest to get imo. I soloed it with a guide of course because I never did pit of heresy enough. I only completed at most 3-4 runs fully, but farmed tf out the final boss of course 😂

I got the spire exotic on my second run, my friend has ran it 100's of times and still hasn't got it
You can skip new light if you have already done it on at least once. You just pull a ship from collections and leave.

I very much loved icebreaker In d1 and hit some crazy clips so I'm honestly dissapointed it's not in destiny 2 yet
Not adding time to the clock was a mistake. why don't you use the same class so you can reuse armor?
Only one exotic drop chance per class per week. They did this to avoid people deleting characters over and over.

Ive done near 100 runs of duality w/o getting it. 2nd run if warloard i got the exotic....
i have now 198 full clears of that duality Dungeon all challenge done and still not the exo and as long that weapons in that Dungeon get no crafable i have no reson to go in there again
same with vog 291 clears not every challenge done i have to say and no vex
so seeing by the 4 try an exo drop is like hey please dont buy final shap we have new exos but you will never get tham
but good challenge maby do 3 challenge with all redom drop exos without the neonuma event
