- S3.E54. After a long dry spell in Mississippi, Phillip Culpepper gets even with the Alabama longbeards. Culpepper and Drake Lamb meet up with Tyler Jordan and Bryan Brown. They're hoping to drop a couple gobblers.
3:25 After meeting Jordan and Brown, Culpepper and Lamb head to the timber in hopes of finding a lonely longbeard.
4:20 They get a bird to sound off on the roost and slowly slip closer to him. The first sit doesn't pan out and they reposition.
6:15 Culpepper and Lamb make a move, but the tom gets henned-up and eventually moves off the property.
8:35 Culpepper talks about why the turkeys did what they did. Another lesson learned.
10:30 They strike another mid-morning gobbler and Culpepper calls it into range. He misses the first time and drops the bird as it takes flight.

TSS is too expensive for my taste.. i don't knock guys who shoot it, but I kill just as many birds as the next guy who is using TSS. No fun shooting them farther than 30. Too many birds where I hunt to just poke one at 60. Ruins the fun of turkey season. I like letting em get close and shaking the ground when they gobble.
Quick question phillip that v3 you are shooting is it a 26 or 28 inch barrel??
You can do the same with Long beard XR and shoot i ain't buying that crap when ever I can buy 20 more shells for the amount of money those tss cost....lort
