I want to thank you for letting me know how many beers I will need for this job. It may be a 3 beer job, but where I live, I have to factor in my neighbor coming over to see what I am doing, and any friend(s) that may stop by. I could be a half rack deep, just to change my oil.
haha I appreciate it. Beer and dog always make maintenance jobs much more enjoyable. Glad you liked the video and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers
to be as concise but thorough as possible is definitely the goal for these vids. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave some good feedback in the comments. Cheers
Use T4 .. cheaper in 5gallon pales.. runs very well. More then 200,000km on the same motor.. same clutch.. a real 200,000km not 20,000 lol t4 all the way. Doesnt come out like water. Still got lots of good stuff in it
Who knows if you are supposed to check engine oil when the bike is hot or cold!? When it's cold it does not show up in the glass but when you warm it up then turn it off and check the oil it's right in the middle! So the oil expands when it gets hot.
now there's a great question! after downloading a service manual ktm's book says "Info: The engine oil level must be checked when the engine is cold" Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to ask a really good question where the distinction is important and worth noting, will be sure to use the service manual and include additional info like this in future vids. Cheers
now that's a good tip I could see how that would work perfect. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave great how-to tips in the comments. Cheers
now that's a good tip, curious what a suitable alternative might be? appreciate you watching and taking the time to share good info in the comments. Cheers

Hi there, just got a 530exc. It's an 09 model.
It's not been started in 2 years. Can't disengage the clutch. Any recommendations?
My shot glass looks totally full? Is it still okay to ride or should I drain oil.
Very good video and thank you so much
