The Most Dangerous Hoods in New Orleans! (Hood Vlog) 🇺🇸

- Опубліковано 20 вер 2024
- Welcome to my hood vlog tour of New Orleans, Louisiana-strategically located on the Gulf of Mexico’s coastline. New Orleans, with its 17 distinct wards, stands as the state's most populous and vital port city. Louisiana, bordered by Texas to the west, Mississippi to the east, and Arkansas to the north, is home to nearly 4.7 million residents and is a rich tapestry of cultures. This melting pot blends French, Spanish, Creole, African, and German influences. Join me as I explore the vibrant streets of New Orleans in 2023, diving into both well-known and no-go zones. A special thank you to @NoonOrleanz for guiding me through his hood.

I'm from New Orleans and I must say I really enjoyed watching this video.❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
New Orleans accents is the accent of the South I love it lol
Ya herd me ⚜️
You know it .
Bebay!!!
I just came back from there. I will miss hearing “how you doin my beby?” 😂
@kikibrown9548 I love it down here!! It's truly a different atmosphere!! No place like it fasho!! 💯💯💯💯
Omg, that first guys rap brought tears to my eyes, I felt his words and pain in my heart!🎉😢❤ He's very gifted 🎉❤😊 His accent is like a beautiful musical instrument!❤🎉😊
His name is Noon Orleanz
Maybe that's why I didn't feel alone in New Orleans was because you all have what I always wanted. A big family. So I was pulling that energy. Appreciate that for real...and allowing me to share in that!
This was really great! Much respect to Noon. He showed you a fabulous and culturally important side of New Orleans which is too often and overlooked as not having value 🎉. Not just the tourist'd New Orleans. Shout out to Chicken and Watrmelon!
Wow NoonOrleanz You almost could pass for my son's twin. You look like him, your personality is like his down to your style of rapping. That blew my mind (In a good way) But left me with a heavy heart. You see I lost my son in 2017 so viewing this video of my home I can't return to saddens me even more but makes me feel good that the city isn't lost. Thank you for telling your truth and changing your life as you work to keep the youths of New Orleans on a positive path. Listening to you talk about our city brought back so many memories especially when you talked about the crawfish. Man, I miss New Orleans seafood. And you're right New Orleans isn't the same since Katrina. I still visit being I still have family there however the murder rate is what keeps me away. when I brought my son home to be laid to rest it was on a Sunday and to my surprise the grave diggers shared with me that on Saturday they buried 25 young men all between 25 years and younger is when I decided its no way I could move back here with all the killing like that being I have two more sons and if I was to move back they would follow me even thro they are grown. That first rap you shared with us sounded like one my son rapped about when he was living. I pray that the Lord will show you favor and keep you and those kids you are mentoring protected and safe. Just know you are making a difference in guiding those young boys to have dreams and strive to achieve them.
Damn... I respect these guides immensely for sharing their pain, and still keeping their composure.
The rap at 3:00 was really heart felt. NoonOrleans blew my mind a bit.
He's a good man.
Chris keep it up. This style of vlogging, with interviews, hearing stories from others, seeing areas where few people go is really good.
Thank you!
Praise Jesus Amen
This the best hood vlog I ever seen nothing negative was glorified not one gun in site y’all had a real gangsta on the video (p town moe) and he was humble and represent himself and his kids very well….. the young man you walked New Orleans with told you everything that goes on in New Orleans but stay positive the ENTIRE video I love this on top of showing the brass band again this was the BEST hood vlog im a Louisiana native and I know and SEEN for a fact how dangerous New Orleans is you didn’t show any of that only positive much love and respect Chris ❤️👊🏽
I appreciate you. Thank you for watching.

There were so many nice moments in this vlog, but ptown moe hyping up his kids while they singing absolutely priceless.

💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"struggles" get a job u bums
That first song he did on the video was fire! I felt that! Big up NOLA from Jamaica 🇯🇲
This was AMAZING. It was a perfect yin and yang balance of New Orleans. So much poverty, violence and struggle. But conversely so much hope, positivity and people trying to move things in a better direction. The duality of man in essence. Shouts to these amazing men trying to make a better life for these kids. That shit moved me to tears. Hope and pray for a better future for hoods like this!
That’s what we should see more of instead of guns and gangs New Orleans ain’t a city to be soft in by far the yin and Yang thing you explain it perfectly people just tryna make it and survive and staying humble while still staying on guard
Real talk
It’s boy
Some new Orleans legends in this video
Happy you came here😚love my City N.O❤

I appreciate that
Glad you had the NON tourist experience in New Orleans. Im from the place and i hate to see my black folks are more interested in music than programming and STEM blacks are much more than entertainment.
You may be a scientist, others are interested in fishing, some like music. This is how the world is made up. Nobody said blacks are only for entertainment. But it seems like that is on the back of your mind.
@@ChrisMustList Naah, i just want to put that out there. You do a good job capturing the culture but its my job to capture the professional side of the coin. Nothing is wrong with what you are doing.
Lovely video. Really enjoyed listening to those young men. Would definitely visit New Orleans ❤❤🇬🇧🇯🇲

That's p town moe is a cool cat and always cracking jokes and having fun
@@TrackyaboyNah, don’t come visiti
Excellent content informative that co-host spitting 🔥🔥
Now this is how I wanna see my city represented!!! N.❤.
I love the accent of the man with the blue hat. Creole. Such a musical blend of Ebonics/Black English which comes from Caribbean which has French and Spanish influences, the colonial influences of British and Irish that became the old southern accent. It’s so fascinating
Irish!
Don't say ebonics or black english it's just the accent , every country has their accent , every state , we don't call southern white folks accent , white southern accent or some so why when it comes to blacks , knock it off
@@Amsidkdnsls the accent originated with black people and there isn't anything wrong with pointing that out. Creole is literally my culture, I'm white and black haitian. There IS a particular southern accent that rich white people affected and I'd call that old southern white people.
@@Amsidkdnsls
Yes we do call White Southern accents that
Ebonics/AAVE/AAE does not come from the Caribbean neither does our local accents in New Orleans and South Louisiana. Our Créole French doesn't come from the Caribbean either. We just have similarities
great video Chris,New Orleans is just like some Caribbean countries, very same stories,Bless the people of New Orleans ,and Blessings to you to Chris for showing the true stories.
This as New Orleans as it get. From BR to NO shout out to the city
Bro that guy could freestyle great video so far
Big up, Chris, that man's story about the daily disappearrances of young women and men is frighteningly scary...I pray for the People of New Orleans. Ya'll dont deserve this. Time to have Militias walk the streets to monitor your own communities, alongside the long arm of the Law! Thank you, Chris...for this extremely poignant and revealing episode of your journeying into the Heartlands of America. You Rock, 🌟 King!!!! ❤ from the Chilly PNW!!!! Awooooooo!!!! Safe travels forward, Celtic King!!!!
Big ups to the Rapper you highlighted and walked with you telling the story of his city and community, his songs are a Ballad that can drive one to tears...Truly Gifted! Hope u go far because of Chris' exposure, New Orleans Fiyah King!!!! One Love from the Mist and Dew of Northcoast Cali!!!

Just got back from Nola 6/25/23 and I had a blast! I recommend Frenchmen St. over The French Quarter.
This is dope. Waiting for you to make it back up north to Baltimore 😅. I guarantee you that will be the wildest location during your US trip or dc. Not many UA-camrs go there.

I gotta bible study tomorrow i'm gonna show Them this I'm sure they would love to help. Maybe we could do somethat definitely would love to help
Hi Chris, it is nice to see how fast your channel is growing. I have so many channels that I love to watch. Unofrtunatley I have a lot of catching up to do on your vloggs.
I like how you go beyond the tourist scene. I have been to New Orleans but to the casinos and Bouban Street only. You are giving us a real picture of real poverty and that not all people are bad. I grew up poor and I know how harsh society can be. very judgemental and very ignorant in understanding the true circumstances. So many good and kind people.
When I see people in need of a little help, I know a little kindness goes a long way. You show this, you are a kind, caring and most of all understanding man, non judgemental. Kudos to you!!! Keep up the good work.
Keep on showing the middle class and elite they aren't the only ones that matter in this man eat man world. I have nothing myself but I will still give a homeless man falling through the cracks a few bucks. I hate to see people begging at intersections for money. This is a total turn off for me. Especially when I see women from other countries doing this. They get a lot of help from the government and big breaks to get on their feet while people on assistance barely get enough to live off.
There is a man living in my complex, he doesn't work and has 4 kids. What is he going to do when the big governemnt help stops?
