I grew up in St. Louis. I am 15 years old and have moved further away thankfully but back when I was a kid, I went to school and came home everyday wanting to vomit from anxiety. We would have to evacuate our classrooms every other day because some kid would go insane and start stabbing kids. They were kids running home, getting arrested at school, choking and stabbing other kids and teachers, bringing guns to school, it was insane. Home was worse. Our neighbors had a meth lab in their basement and our dad was getting stalked by a gang member because my dad didn’t pay a drug dealer enough money for marijuana and our family was in danger. Crazy old times. That was 7-8 years ago. My life is better now. I live in the country and it’s so much safer. I could never imagine going back.

Jesus Christ is the only way you may become a good person from islam but eternally you wont live The difference between "religion" and Jesus Christ is Jesus turns you from a dead person to a living one that's eternal while religion you have to follow rules and do good deeds, stop bad habits etc. Turn To The Truth Today brother let this be a sign from god he loves you he died on the cross for your sins i respect you but i don't respect the islam religion it teaches hate and teaches lies. Right. Missouri is a republican state. Most white people want nothing to do with us or they wanna take advantage of us. They are extremely prejudice. They won't take the time to look outside of themselves, and if you come across one that does half of the time, they're not from Stl. And those prejudice people are all through our schools and boards. Our school system is trash in Stl, at least for black kids. Speaking as a previous north county student. It's terrible, can't wait to bring the love back home.

After being robbed at gunpoint twice in 6 months by two of those mini gangstas (robbed in my company's secure gated parking lot after dark) I fled to San Diego and found the same dream job at higher wages. We would do homework at my house. He was a great student and great athlete. He was very close to my family. My mother would call him her second son. He started hanging out with a certain gang when he got older. He got busted for doing a drive by and killing a gang member from another gang. My father wrote a letter to the judge saying what a great kid he was before he was sentenced. I miss him dearly. I did not want to be another statistic. It's way deeper than that ngl it's more so been ignored rather than normalized and when it's recognized it's usually glorified by people who don't live in these type of environments, culture CAN be a problem but even with that you have to dig deeper, like where did this culture come from and why/when did it become associated with black americans, just saying its the culture is just lazy and can be harmful as most people interpret that as "black american culture in general is bad" which is ignorant because our culture is seen in many places outside of these communities and things don't go nearly as bad for them as our culture has always been more than murder. The problems with our community are complex and complex issues require complex solutions most of the time. I believe funding the education systems, working to better the US rehabilitation systems and providing more mental health resources as there's a lot of mental illness in our community that gets brushed off, there's plenty more solutions that are needed to actually help the community but those were just some ways I believe will push the community forward. trust me it makes me too sad to see my people in this condition and I want shit to get done fuck that blame game shit because the government already knows what's up its just up💯

I was born and have lived in St. Louis my entire life (I’m 28) and it really isn’t has bad as people make it out to be, as long as you mind your own business, don’t post up at stupid locations, and just pay attention to your surroundings you will be fine. I was just riding my motorcycle thru these neighborhoods literally yesterday on my way to a big event at the graffiti wall and everyone is always cool

Same with where I lived in KC, MO gun shots in the distance, babies sleeping in bathtubs, knew several people who got shot (wrong target) while I was there.
