Beguine For Band

Beguine For Band by Glenn Osser is conducted by SJAWE Guest Conductor, Dr. William Berz, from Rutgers University. This piece has been played numerous times by the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble over the past 20 years and is an appropriate encore in our "Flashback" concert. SJAWE is joined by 40 Honors music students playiung side-by-side.

We played this in HS band in Claymont DE in 1960 but I had forgotten the melody. All I remembered was Beguine and a composer named Osser. Thank you Ron Poorman and Google for making this potential full day research project at the library a 30 second one at home.
