As far a the refrigeration, I’ve been following this routine for years without realizing the benefits. Cook white rice with quinoa, seeds (sunflower, hemp or sesame seeds) peas, beans, vegetables...the idea is to add fiber & nutrient dense foods to the rice or as a side dish (hence slowing the effects it has on blood sugar) I even add tumeric to my rice (for yellow color & flavour, along with garlic, thyme & better than bullion) left overs can be used as fried rice ect.

All the starch in these products will have gone in to ur cooking water where starches will come out. These starches turn in to sugar to add towards insulin resistance pre curser to diabetes if you let ur health go.

I wonder if those rice pouches count for this. They are already cooked and u put in for 90 sec in the microwave.. so I assume I was cooked after being cooked and then sealed in that pouch. Or since we cook it again it doesn't matter? Just curious.

Bread is very bad for you too, sugar , pasta , soda , but I think I really have to stop eating rice , pasta because every time I eat pasta and rice my body is very painful until next day - I stop eating rice pasta , sugar and bread for one week and I feel better and I lost 6 pounds. We are what we eat. Just change my diet and my body doing much better.💯

You might be allergic to gluten if you eat breads or wheat, barley, or rye pasta.
Just something ya might look into bc that’s how I started noticing something was wrong bc I felt so bad the next day. … Few years later I was chronically sick & guess what the culprit was?.. GLUTEN… Yep .. My large colon exploded & I nearly died. So just wanted to give you a lil advice bc it starts out just the way you described in your comment but gets worse over time. .. BLESSINGS to you❣️

So, resistance starch is approved to lose weight but, is it also less inflammatory?
(For fibromyalgia and MS) Can I at least eat potatoes (for the vitamins) everyday leaving the rice and the pasta aside?

He has derived this from a study done in an American university. The researcher cooked the rice in coconut oil and then refrigerated it for 12 hours and then it was eaten . Obviously the starches were coated with fat and get released slower than normal.
It is for the same reason in India many people eat rice with Ghee which is also a good fat .

Eat your starches last….eating the starchy part of the meal after the protein and vegetables…it has significantly smaller effect on blood glucose and insulin. One of the best book on insulin resistance is “ Why We Get Sick” by Benjamin Bikman. You can reheat the rice and eat it by the end of the meal, double bonus 🙏🏻…..cook with gee or coconut oil for even more benefits.
