I don't understand why you cannot select colors for any custom vehicles in the ps2 and gamecube version. Only in xbox version.

Xbox version is a later release and came with extra features.

PS2 version came out October 2002 and Xbox Version came out May 2003. They added a bunch of extra features since they had so much extra time I guess.
