    A warden set that changes the appearance of your bear companion (to a panther or wolf, for example) and makes it have improved abilities, such as more damage, synergies, or buffs! I would go nuts for that.

      Love that idea and taking it a step further. Instead of Morrowind themed abilities like cliff racer, betty netch etc it would be cool to change based on what race your warden is.

    Given their track record (Graven Deep class-specific mechanics) it's also unlikely we'll see sets added to the Infinite Archive for future classes either - assuming there are more classes coming after arcanist.
    Overall class sets were just another poorly planned "hook" they used to get people running last year's flop.

    Personally I wanted the class sets to be monster set like, so 2 peices and stuff but I wanted it to be build defining like something you would build around because I love class identity. For example maybe for necro it "removes blast bones Explosion and instead summons a skeletal mage/archer (based on the morph of blastbones mag or stam) a skeletal assassin (simaler animations and attacks to the nightblades shadow) 4 at a time and are permanent and you can hold it down to swap between the 2(mage or assassin) I think that would be cool or something for warden which makes the ice dps skills( like winters revenge or artic wind) gain benefits as if they were animal companion abilities while also doing physical or bleed, artic blast can be raging tempest where cliffracers swirl around the player extremely quickly causing a whirlwind and dealing bleed damage instead or winters revenge makes thorns in a aoe instead of ice, stuff like that

    Class sets could also be a mythic style glyph/trait that is placed on armor weapons or jewelry depending on what aspect of its power you desire to use. This would change up the sets by not interfering with them but being a flavor of your choices.

    Arcanist Set could summon a book for each skill you use from a skill line... once you have 3-5 they trigger/fire off a random skill from that line?
    Dragonknight set could cause spectral/summoned armour to form and give a passive boost to the damage/defense they have with each skill and just have it refresh the timer when you use the skill again.
    Necromancer is possibly the easiest: Have it summon skeletons that just have very few HP in combat, say one ever 3-5 seconds then they collapse leaving corpses to use...

    They missed the mark by offering a single set in each weight rather than offering a set for each role. I'd love to see a set for each role with the cool glow. I also like the idea of the proc from the video
    Let's just look at the Necro set for a moment. First off, it preempted Sacrificial Blastbones and when they implemented that change the set lost a key feature. Plus, it's clearly a tanking set. My Healer and DPS have no reason to touch the set and with the shortage of tanks in the game an underwhelming tank set doesn't add much
    Sure, I like the Nightblade set on my Mag DPS but it's far from meta, and have theorycrafted Sorc and Templar but I don't have much energy to farm them

    I use the Soulcleaver on my Magblade and the Nobility in Decay on my tank magcro. I know, I'm stunting myself, but I want to lean into the class vibe on a couple characters.
    3pc sets were the play though. Maybe someday.

      Nobility in Decay is oddly pretty good in pvp with vamp passive lol

    It feels like its changing the combat to more of a diablo esque aoe mob bomb.

    It would have been sick if they came out with a set that changed a whole skill line.
    Maybe a set that changed specific skills to act differently. I.e., Can make minions permanent and provide different buffs or work completely differently.

    [Loud disappointed sigh] yeah....
    But Vampblades, don't shy away from Hollowfang! Slot the Lady Thorn monster set. Roll a support DPS. Pair it with the Macabre set for Blood Magic or pair either Macabre or Hollowfang with the IA set for the vampiric glow!

    When I 1st heard they were doing class sets, I perked up ... then when I saw what they did in PTS, I eye-rolled.
    I've heard ( and saw ) way to many people say " Classes are not a thing in TES single player games".. Dude, tell me you've only Played Skyrim, without saying you've only Played Skyrim. ( that isn't saying I don't love Skyrim, but I love the Class system in Oblivion.)
    This is what I would have loved to see in a Class set... Hard choices, using Necromancer, because...easy.
    1pc.. plus resource plus xxx & visual enhance ( IDK.. creepy purple glow? ) when 2 or more pieces worn
    2pc... enhance class skills plus xxx
    3pc ... 1 killed NPC rises to fight for xxx time
    4pc... weapon or spell damage plus xxx ( additional damage pc worn after 5)
    5pc... 2 killed NPC rise to fight for xxx time , plus Class skill enhance by xxx.
    6pc... enhance class skills plus xxx
    7pc.. Damage plus xxx on Class skill & weapon and spell damage plus xxx
    8pc... Resource return at end of Totem, Graveyard, grasping hands, xxx amount.( amount increasing with # of additional pcs worn.. ie 9, 10...)
    9pc... 3 killed NPCs rise to fight for xxx time.
    ** duration of this proc longer with pieces of set used starting with 2nd pc
    10pc... xxx crit chance, enhanced plus xxx on summoned dead ( blast bones, Mender, flame skull, Skeletal mage/archer/arcanist )
    12pc... 3 killed NPCs become perma pets unless killed, but resummon on next kill. Plus pet damage xxx...
    Yes, this is PVE centered, I'm not sure how to implement some of it for PvP, as you sure can't rise dead enemy players to fight for you!! Perhaps both could have something to do with having the Summon (mage, arc, archer) slotted and it summons them...IDK it's all just an idea and someone better at Theory Crafting would have to come up with numbers that make it worthwhil, but no OP.

    I just want some lore accurate classes.
    DK's that use dragon shouts and dragon priest like abilities like lore HAS.
    Wardens that use spriggans and werewolves and plants.
    Necromancers that actually are Necros instead of an dead-brained weak "Necromancer".
    Etc. It was so disappointing making a necro in this game knowing how powerful necros are in universe. Like fuck Kjalnar in Unhallowed Grave, Mani, Arum-Khal, Vastarie, etc. How fucking powerful they are? Like I fucking wish I was .00001% as strong as they are.

    No one I know is using the sets either.. We all heard they suck, so why grind for em. I assume its due to power creep.. they dont want ppl more powerful. That being said if could of been on point with the meta sets and gave u something unique for your class. What a waste!!

    Paid dlc(trials) has great class sets, archive had limited and mostly useless stuff because it was free. I can't believe you still think they would release useful sets for a free update.
