Thank you for all the likes & kind comments! I'm gonna try to answer some of the questions about the castle. This a creative build (Build Cost Modifier set to 0) on a private server between me & my friends. We have 2 castles, this is the second one (the rest are just there for easy teleport access). The first castle we have was nothing special, fully functional but because one of my friend has a low end pc we can't really decorate it that much without it being super laggy for him. We finished the game after around 50 hours and because I like the base building system in this game so much, I decided to just set the build cost to 0, build another castle just for fun & just decorate the hell out of it. I don't remember how long I built this one for but probably around 20 hours of messing around and figuring stuff out, because the layout turned out to be waaaay different then when I first planned it originally. Hardest part of this castle is probably placing the hedges & paths, that took a lot of tinkering trying to place it perfectly. I'm sorry I don't know much about floor plans & sharing save files but please feel free to copy this castle design if you want to! I'm satisfied with how this one turned out, don't know if I'll make one because I'm kinda done with this game for now.
If you want to have a realistic gameplay and build system, you can use admin commands to give yourself any desired resources for your "pretty" castle and leave them there. The other castle can then be built up "properly" if you want to play the game with the expected struggles.

insanely well done. one thing I would add, that I did not see you use or you havent noticed these things just yet. Under the teleporter or waygate more specifically, can be placed a Large growing plot , or any plot for that matter, but this is only after you've placed the lets say waygate, and now Viola, you may place any flower you like to grow through the waygate, you can do some really fun things with that, its seems hard at first, but lets say you just place ur plots that u now cant see or move under the waygate, and let any seed grow, ok now it is easier to control whats placed how since u have something to point towards and replace, have fun much in the same way, vases can be twin use, place a vase > place a smalle growing plot, can be an outdoor hole or a square one, doesnt matter , right under the vase welcome to more fun : you can now place decorative vase flowers over it, but also plant seeds that WILL grow on top of the vase, so use fire blossom for example and it grows and sparkles through ur other decorative thing, enjoy having fun mix and matching what u like to grow how~ besides the fun tricks, it might just be me, but i wanna say, dont be shy to add more love to your outside walls, i mean, try some fun things, lighting, banners, stuff n whatnot, i see some plantgrowth but only on the bottom ones, what about higher walls? u got plenty of them walls , stuff goes high~ bonus trick, I was gifted, so lets say them garden planters, i'd suggest try the tallest ones, you can place 2 of them next to ur stairs, if ur not using gates or u dont want pillars themself, can provide a bit more substance, u can add flowers or what u will for more bzzAzzz~ anyway, try and share the fun 'tricky' trick of using planters under waygates, i really hope more people use this, am sad the game's own waygates dont use that, or they didnt realize it could be done, just simply slapping one large growing plot at the center of the waygate and letting 7 roses in it grow, makes the thing look cooler by a lot, now let ur imagination go crazy and do whatever amount of plots u like or mix of flowers to grow through, i love that trick so much.

Can this castle be replicated on the plot south of the horse track in dunley?? Love the garden. One of the best castles I’ve seen ever. Gonna try to replicate it.
Can I ask what those trees are on your driveway and where do I get the seeds? I've been chopping down the fortress of lights poplar trees for what feels like forever but I've not looted a single seed from them yet. I'm thinking that's the trees but I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction so I can plant some in my garden centre. Thanks in advance. 😊
@@TrekkiemonsterUK Cypress trees, you can only get the sappling from those chruches in the farmlands I think, also it doesnt drop often so might have to do multiple runs to get the amount you need

I just built my first castle and it took me about 3 hours, cant imagine how much work you put into this!!!!!!! so well thought out. also, what are the pointy light things in the garden? around 1:10 ? i want to make them but im pretty low level and havent seen anything like that yet lol
If there's an update..will this castle be retain or u need to build it from the scratch? Im planning of buying the game..but I read many reviews that it will server wipe even in private server
This is a really great looking castle. Do you think you'd be able to upload the save this castle is in? Would like to place it out in the world on the server I'm on even if I don't necessarily plan to use it.
Im closing in on the last 4 bosses of the game and would love to put this kind of effort into a castle...but this is basically the only location in the game with enough space that you can really make something this elaborate and aesthetic. I wouldn't want to spend soo much time making this kind of castle but in order to play the game im having to travel for 20 minutes to cross the entire map when I need specific items. I feel like the game needs 2 spaces this big or potentially bigger in every area.

There's a forest shroud (clothing item) that removes the cursed fog. Your character must wear it to remove the fog , though (it must be equipped to your vampire character).

I have a question, I'm a newbie v rising player. I have no experience with these building games. Do you build such huge castles all on your own or do many people build it together? Because collecting materials and everything takes soooo much time, and when I see one of these castles, the number of decor and paintings, windows, everything, is it a single person making it?
Can't really say for other people but for my case, whenever we play these types of survival games, my friends did all the exploring and gathering and because I like building anyways, I’m the one in charge of managing the base, building it and making the materials. So yes, building is all on me. As for collecting materials, the Brutal difficulty gives you extra 25% loot multiplier and because it’s a private server we bump up the servant loot multiplier to make it a bit easier to get loot. The thing that takes time is probably the refining because there are alot to refine.Hardest loot to get is probably the end game stuff where you have to go to a specific location & do a specific thing to get that loot (like charged batteries), loots that have low drop chance & amount (like jewelry) and seeds & saplings, other than that you can pretty much farm materials from servant.

I'm not sure if you use any commands or any other building mode stuff but not bad building by the way. How do you have higher than 3 floors ? This is not default..? :/ Also, how long have you been playing. I started a week ago, and I am totally new in the game, but I am a hard-core builder. Nice to see someone with passion for building. I haven't reached this area yet and unlocked all stuff, but I think I'll have nice castle too in the future.
Gorgeous castle and sadly an example of what cannot be built with the ps5 version because of automatic messed up roofs or lack of them and frustratingly unplaceable walls. 😢
Took me 8 hours but i got a 95 percent layout copy of this! No decorations yet mostly, all on PS5. Lost some percents on the garden, that was the hardest part.

Honestly this camera view is visually offensive. Everything is invisible and the camera is WAY TO FAR AWAY. We need this on ps4 with fixes, I mean, it's a xbox360 quality game and pc modders already fixed the camera. Should have options in the base game for close 3rd person, 1st person, option to turn off invisible objects.... ugh.... they could even do more. It's like sometimes a dev wants to force a lesser quality experience on gamers and that forces gamers to dislike their games. Like how fallout 4 had a 60fps mod on ps4 and the development team shut it off even though it made their game WAY more enjoyable. 30fps isn't enough. 60 is decent. Honestly 120fps is where it's at. Ehhh fallout 4 also had a really bad render distance, that was weird. Before you say it's their engine, well, acknowledge that there WAS a consol mod that did fix it.
Your castle doesn't make sense. It looks like a bunch of random rooms. The devs need to port this to ps4 and add a camera option mod for close 3rd person and 1st person. Modders can already do that, and run this game on a pc with Xbox 360 specs.

My friend and I used to make locks like this, we had one on a PvE server and left it open for everyone to see.
Less than a minute in and I'm already in awe at the garden alone.
I LOVE the touch of cobwebs and abandoned theme for old workshops that you no longer need, very nice touch!
The length of your driveway is about the size of any build area I've come across so far. This is like 5 bases in one lol 10/10❤

These are pretty much end game holders for end game talismans! You get them at the final 4 bosses before Dracula :/

You can set maximum floors in your castle up to 6, when you're creating your game in server settings
love to build shit so ill be happy to take over some ideas :) to bad im going on a holliday for 14 days so i can only dream of building
