    Charlie is a professional from the old era or Golden years but every one is different and Larry Scott trained Bob Paris, if I am not mistaken, he used to say bent your waist slightly so that you work the lateral head. One important thing to mention is that not everyone has the genetic to develop like Charlie, Robby Robinson or Arnold so train in a way that you feel the lateral head is working. If you work with diferent trainers, like Lou Ferrigno, Frank Zane or even Vince Gironda who trained Arnold, Ferrigno, actors and many more

    I'm a bit confused by the lateral raises. When he says point the thumb down, is it purely pronation of the forearm, or internal rotation of the humerus? Because isn't the latter dangerous?

    Anyone with a history of shoulder issues should be aware of internal rotation of the shoulder as every exercise has a risk reward for each individual person.

    So for uprights I find a trap bar comfortable and i feel less traps due to the grip width.

      Who do you think looked best? old school or new school ? experience is always appreciated and we can try things and experiment and see what works and what not. I see a lot of comments like yours and Man , if you know more, start making content we would love to see other perspective and what not.

    Pointing thumb dome is completely unnecessary

    doing it this way ruins your rotator cuff seeing that dumbell come up to its peak i see the weight is no longer on the delt but on the cuff. it will catch up with you one day youll lift and PING its gone.

    • @HocineBased
      @HocineBased  2 роки тому +2

      I try to keep the rotator cuff strong and flexible, you don't need to do something that you think is bad for you. or because you aren't on point with your mobility.
