I've been alone and joyful for many years but time has come to remove this loneliness.
I think it's possible to be more joyful when you're sharing and spreading your joy with others. Not that solitude is a bad thing, we can cultivate true joy in solitude and then let it flow outward. If we seek joy from things and people outside of ourselves it's like a single candle flame in the middle of a forest fire. It loses its singularity and gets blown out by the wind generated by the bigger fire. But in solitude the flame of the candle can grow.
We live in a time where there is so much fear. Its feels good to listen to Sadhguru. Much respect to Mike for being so open and opening a new door for others.

It is hard to accept the pain... Once we start to accept it .. We will live our life to the fullest.
Pleasure can prolong pain. But true joy will eliminate pain. Joy cannot be found in pleasure.
I could feel lust and engage in pornography to PLEASURE my flesh. But at the end of that carnal activity we feel the sorrow come back. Because Pleasure cannot diminish our sorrow but suppress it.
True joy is found in the relationships we hold in our lives with each other. When we confide in one another and develop friendships out of the darkness and in the marvellous light. Joy is the light of the world, but pleasure is a shade for your darkness.

Or you can thwart something unwanted from happening. As a human being, one can't live like an earthworm. We should learn to predict, forecast what would or may be happening in future. When something fearful is likely to happen, fear is beneficial. Because, fear will help you to get yourself prepared for it.

The woman at 1:03:28 is such a typical representative of the American "namaste" crowd. She doesn't ask an earnest question, she just wants to show the world how much she "gets it".
This is so densely packed with wisdom that I sometimes have to stop the video for a few minutes and just think about what was said. Like if I'm reading a really really good book sometimes I'll read just one page; put the book down and spend the next hour contemplating what I just read.
Having followed both Sadhguru and Iron Mike for years, it feels like they're the two wise people out of everybody around I'd love to listen endlessly. Mike's wisdom driven by his wounded past and Sadhguru's wisdom driven by his terrific knowledge of himself and the world makes it all the way more enlightening. God bless y'all ❤️

I love what Sadhguru said about how feelings don't have to be about something. That was a new insight to me, almost always our emotions are triggered by something, almost like a trick.
To see 2 people whose lives I've followed for years in separate areas of interest in my life & admire profoundly feels almost surreal. Amazing.

mikes been a great man for a while and i think the prison stint was bs...this man was used and abused after his mentor passed...robbed and taken advantage of...and he still came back ten fold...you cant keep a good man down forever

I love how everyone laughs and smiles. But Mike is giving 100 percent of his attention. You can tell hes listening. Hes hanging on every word being said and waiting for whats going to be said next. Sadhguru is simplifying the idea of suffering. The idea of suffering something that has not yet happened I agree with for the most part. But to say people are still suffering something that may have happened 10 years ago but is no longer happening simply isn't true.
Many people have extremely difficult and traumatic childhoods to which it not only tears their family apart but, they lose their friends and are alone.. to be a alone all of or most of your life is suffering. You can just sit in a chair and "take yourself to Spain".
Many people, too much people are completely broken from past experiences with no one to help them, no one to talk to or hold them or love them. This can be through no fault of their own and also their own doing. Put past events are still impacting their life today... And to know that this is how they will spend the rest of their life is suffering about a future they know is coming because they are already living it in the present.
People can try and build new friendships and relationships as an adult.. but when you have no friends or family it makes it extremely difficult and often impossible because people think there must be something off with you.
There are circumstances where people can build there life back into something worth living or even better. But there are also circumstances where this is not possible.
Sadhguru, although smart, is too simplistic.
He completely avoided Mike Tysons question about how he got on his path.. meaning tell us about your life journey/experiences.. why would one avoid the question by responding with something that has nothing to do with what was asked? 🚩
