At last we can realize that any way we walk, is never the right way. Because only when you stop walking, have you arrived.

“Tenderness and softness are the companions of life. Rigidness and hardness are the companions of death.” So eloquently simple yet brilliant! I will remember this always. 🙏🏼

Possibly the hardest hitting Alan Watts dialogue I’ve heard. So powerful what a gift to us he was

I sat with ayahuasca about 4 months ago, and my ego was seen completely through.
It scared the shit out of me.
Existential terror and I ended up moving back to my parents house and have felt rather incapacitated since.
Slowly but surely the truths I experienced are being embraced and it’s been beautiful.
So grateful for people like Watts who can articulate with such clarity the human experience.

Oh man… the military really did a number on me… it made me stoic in regards to myself. Glad I found this video, I’m in physical pain right now and yes suppressing even that started in the military. I’m still sensitive but stoic for my own pain, life… this is making me question stoicism as a general way of approaching pain in life… he’s right, it’s not the way of nature… acknowledging pain, being tender with yourself and even expressing it… empathy for ourselves whilst still working on solution ☀️

      Yeeeh man. Feel that. 👍👍👍
I just started the process of adding PTSD to my VA Benefits.
We def got Suuuper Institutionalized. Then add that to the Pure Freedom you get in the war zones. Then mix them together when you ETS back to civilian life....and drink up, as it were. Lol
Army Life = Chain of Command/Redress of Concerns; Real Life = Good Luck with that
War Zone = Unimagined Societal Freedom; Real Life = Debt Slavery

@@johnnoe9682 I hope you get what you need/deserve 💙 I can only imagine what you went through in war… hope & 🙏 there comes a time where humanity says enough is enough of all that… humans aren’t meant for it, that’s why it hurts. I was in a military group (when back to civilian) and they were teaching war vets and regular veterans how to meditate, process things. Hope you can find something like that near you & if not, wow is the internet a great resource for finding high quality content… sometimes you gotta dig for it, but I’ve sure found gold. Also, even the worst of our lives have silver linings. I’ve found that concept really helpful, that way when pains are remembered, I also remember the good that’s come of it… one of the things is being someone who understands the suffering of other humans and you understand a whole level of human experienc/pain (war) that many people don’t & you can do something good with that. Also just throwing this out there, Mary Go-tee-A (that’s how it’s pronounced) runs free song-writing camps for war vets. She’s an AMAZING songwriter and vets seem to really enjoy it… might wanna check it out 🌼

I realized this a while back. How if you get bit by a venomous snake & get venom inside of you, the Worst thing you can do is freak out (increased heart rate, better circulation of the venom thru-out your body). But it's also the most natural/ normal response... and so it is Exactly the Same with any extreme pain, it is tempting to feel that worrying is the way to lessen the pain, but it actually isn't. You can be concerned with trends or issues, but it still doesn't warrant Worry. Life is too much of a joke and limited/finite in length and scope to truly Worry about Anything... the less attachments we can have in life and still get by, the less we take the game of life seriously, the less we are able to lose and the more at peace we will be (Still difficult AF, just even knowing it isn't even half the battle won it seems... but that's the cruel joke of existence isn't it... xD (As with trying to kill ANY form of anyone's drama, shouting and yelling at them Only Makes it Worse. Unfortunately it seems the same with our own 'worst' emotions, griefs and voids. .. so they must be accepted and moved forward with, and eventually they mend or 'heal')

The conquering of fears and self limitation, by doing so in a step by step manner, really works. I set myself a goal of swimming 25 lengths of an olympic swimming pool after 10 years of not being in the pool. I succeeded on my first attempt by dividing the task into 5 lengths, rest 2 minutes, until I had done 25 lengths, no problem. Mind over matter

we are mold to fight all the time, ego is enemy we need to fight it, fear is enemy so we need to fight it, fight here, fight there, then at the end we are asking to our self where is peace. we are just fighting with out our awareness like a robot what program they put in to us we just accept and never question it.

Men and Women have the FREE choice to FEEL so they can open themselves for the wisdom that is Already in them.
