Tate Craft slowing it to 1/4 speed doesn’t help. It’s still pretty much worthless as a how to. If you are going to waste viewer time, why not spend 10-15 seconds showing the stippling for a small area then do 20x for the rest.

I like the snake-like pattern. With the rough edges around the Glock logo on the left grip panel, I'd probably just go ahead and stipple that section too. And I would definitely cerakote the the whole grip to get a uniform color so that any rough edges between the sanded or stippled areas and the untouched areas would disappear.

Now almost two months later, you appear to use either your rotary tool or soldering iron to create your outline. The previous one looks far nicer than this one. Why did you switch up your methods?

Glock's are decent tools. CZ's are amazing tools with many features glock's should have. Glock grip angles, finger grooves, and palm swells are not ergonomic and very annoying for me. The only factory Glock lowers I own are a 20/21 and a 29 frame, because Spectre doesn't make a lower for 10mm. Have a 19, 23, and 27 with Spectres' polymer80 v2 frames. Like them a lot, still not as accurate, or as nice as my cz sp01, 97bd, and Shadow 2. Really really wish cz offered a 10mm!

pros and cons of stippling... all it does is 'cook' the synthetics... a crust 'rises' and there is left a series of small 'valley's' . just try this... take a small knife and simply knock off the snots that are elevated above the plain of the surface. they are turned into dried out crusty shit. they pop right off. if you remove all of them... you'll have remaining small valleys that are set into the frame material. now that in itself has a good look to it.. however... allot of frame material, due to stippling with a heat gun/tool/point etc is permanently lost

  • @ArthurDoesThings8960

Are people really referring to the marked outline borders as "rough" lol?
Acetone or alcohol to remove the drawn on borders and it (the borders) won't look as rigid.
Looks good! I would however, add some more stippling at the index points. Looks unfinished, in my opinion.
Personally, I dig the stipple style. Reminds me of the good ol' rattlers we have here in South Texas haha!
On a side note, I feel like people make UA-cam accounts for the sole purpose of crapping on other folks' videos just to feel better about themselves. Jeeeez!

Arthur G I appreciate feedback like this man. I’m usually tempted to reply to the hate comments but I’ve decided some people just live a miserable life to be so negative lol I’ve actually made a few changes to this gun, and I’d post an update video but this particular glock is at the bottom of a river at the moment 😒. Long story. I’ve also changed the way I do my borders as well which I’ll post in my next video.

@@tristarcustoms77 No prob! Looking towards the new video.
Bummer that the gun is at the bottom of the river. A snorkel set and an underwater metal detector on hand for such situations would be handy haha!
There's videos of folks finding all kinds of goods at the bottom of rivers. Wouldn't doubt if someone finds your Glock sooner or later.
