@OBZ74 when it comes to "muzzle rise" your grip is probably the most effective way to mitigate it.. So to answer your question, absolutely.. The grip control from Black Steel USA is not plastic or polymer, it's metal and it's strong.. ive got a gogunsusa gas pedal on my glock19, I've got a Tactical Development pro ledge on my P365, they are fine thumb rests but my thumb slides off of them when my hands get sweaty, probably because they're polymer.. I highly recommend the Black Steel USA grip control, and $110 is not expensive when u consider u can keep the holster u already have because it folds.. I have a Kydex holster and all I had to do was take a blow dryer and get it hot and the fit is perfect now.. If u but one of the before mentioned thumb rests u also have to buy holsters that are compatible, and they are easily $150-$300.. I hope this helps u with your decision, as well as the people in the comment section complaining about the price.. Save yourself some money and buy the Black Steel USA grip control..
Apologies for the late reply. While the average person can out around 12lbs of a force on a finger, our Grip Controls can handle over 180lbs of force. YES, lifetime warranty. We support you 100%
Dont know why a product like this didnt come out sooner.....like waaaay sooner for glocks. Just got mine today and I love it but if i could change one thing, it would be the angle. It needs to be angled or tilted down more so the thumbs can make full contact like align tactical's thumb rest. So far i like black steel's more. It still feels good and doesnt make contact with the slide

The different sizes represent the position of where your supporting thumb sits on your firearm. Use the trigger as a reference of where your supporting thumb would sit comfortably. Size #3 is the size that’s furthest out and the #2 is the middle size and the #1 is the size closest to the trigger. There is a roughly 3/8 of an inch difference between the sizes. To make it easier, if it helps, our most popular size for the Glock Gen 1-4 Grip Control is the size #2.

It's really well made and after I put mine on PDP I no longer felt $110 was to much, money well spent in my opinion

You must have a newer Zev with their own poly frame, yes?? If that is the case, we don't have a Grip Control for it. Our test Zev is an older one.
